Me and my son received great service in this branch. Howard completed all our requests and answered all questions. We didnt wait long as were there early. This is my last visit experience and it is totally different from the previous one. I hope I have the same luck next time.

Good service. My Money got Stuck in one of the ATMs outside Centurion. I came to the because its my branch and it was sorted fast. They even called again to confirm whether I had received it.Their Money gram service is top notch.

This branch has the worst service imaginable. I received a sms to advise that my debit card is expiring and that I have to visit a branch to get a new card. I spent over 2 hours in the branch waiting for service to activate a new debit card. My request to speak to the manager to complain was ignored.

My credit card has expired at end of March, new card is apparantly with courier company, but although charges for delivery has been deducted from my account, I have not received my card. Was promised delivery before Easter weekend, but still waiting!Been to the branch twice but only promises and no service.

Stood in 4 hour row yesterday. To change banking details. Got in at 16h00. Lady who helped me came from mallbranch. Did not get her name. Cery professional. Friendly and helpful. Most probably after a lot of abuse from customers during the day....thank you for your help.

Most mind numbing bank in South Africa.I currently bank with 4 different South African banks and by far the experience with Standard bank as a whole is terrible.Slow service. Private banking = no banking.Ive called numerous times to speak to my personal banker NEVER have they returned the call. Ive visited the bank branch. Short queues but loooong waiting times. Horrible experience.

Honestly speaking, if you have to visit the bank or home affairs for any reason, go to this one. The people that work here are incredibly accommodating, kind, knowledgeable and understanding. They work quickly and efficiently and they work with you on a personal level, rather than being the usual incompetent robots that one can usually find at such a place. Also, the couch upstairs is incredibly comfortable. What more do you want?

Opened on time, Plenty staff asking if we had been helped. The home affairs was efficient and quick. Overall I experienced great service. In addition the layout is very impressive and plenty areas to sit while you wait.

I dont know why Im still A client of yours , the smart id application doesnt have anything to do with them they just tell you to go onto the governments website which doesnt work then keep repeating the same list of BS while talking over me and not listening to what the issue is. Applying for my smart ID went efficiently and way beyond my expectation and walking in for my appointment I was greeted and taken immediately in for my biometrics. when completed I was told it will take 13 working days. so then I waited, waited and waited and received no sms notifications. on calling the DHA helpline various times, holding on forever, I was told that it was never processed. so what happened to all my biometric info??? how on earth is such information just lost and not processed??!!so now I retract my wonderful service and greeting review to the most pathetic service!! I am trying to call the manager and now there is no answer. service is getting worse!!

Bad process management. Floor staff are friendly enough, but there seems to be a clear lack of either process or management. Ive had nothing but woes at this branch. Eventually went to another branch, and they acted as intermediary, as getting anything done here, branch specific, is a complete lost cause.

This branch managed to lose my daughters birth certificate and FICA information. They then told me that I didnt hand these items in, how exactly does one open a new account without them? They also lost my FICA information more than once in the past.

I have been trying to get hold of our company account manger for two weeks, phones are just ringing with no answer. The one time i could get hold of him on a direct number, a week later, that same number goes through to a call centre.The other two number which were provided by the Centurion Mall just rang with no answer.Very disappointing

Phone was put down in my ear after I asked for an urgent appointment for a passport needed within a week. Extremely unfriendly man who does not want to assist at all and does not speak clearly. He can only help in two weeks time, we need a passport within a week, which I know is possible as other members of our touring group were assisted, yet they went to OTHER banks for assistance.Not even worth one star but I have to give it in order to post.

** Standard Bank Customers Beware**All Standard Bank customers should be aware that their internet banking system is not secure and safe at all. I have lost over R60 000 due to internet fraud and the worse is, the fraudsters transferred my money to another Standard bank account before the money disappeared. Standard Bank told me all the above is my fault and they consider the case closed. I would advise all Standard Bank customers to bank with an alternative bank like FNB as the Standard Bank software is not secure and they are unwilling to help when your money goes missing. The fact that criminals have accounts with Standard Bank is a huge concern and would suggest the checks are not done properly when criminals open accounts through Standard Bank. Spare yourself the hassle and financial risk and move your account, especially when you use internet banking.

WRONG LOCATION!!! There is no Standard Bank branch here & this location doesnt exist. There is no corner H. Verwoerd & South Street. It is corner South Street & Gordon Hood Road. Spare yourself the frustration and just manually key in that location.
