Nice quint seafood take-aways with some undercover seating/tables right opposite the beach. Very reasonable priced with good portions served.Service was quick, efficient and strict Covid protocols are adhered to.

Trawlers Seafood is a clean and colourful eatery with a wide variety on their menu and reasonable prices. We in particular enjoyed the calamari and would have loved to try other items on the menu! The staff were friendly and I was struck by how clean the establishment is. The food was prepared quickly and was fresh and tasty. A must try in my books.

Wonderful no-nonsense seafood restaurant and takeaways. I had the hake and chips (at R75) - it was absolutely delicious. The portions are decent BUT they serve it on small or salad plates. This means that the plate is too full and food often drop from the plate. This was somewhat annoying. The place is clearly extremely popular since there was hardly enough place to sit. Nevertheless, its proximity to the beach means it perfect for a relatively quick bite after a swim.

Usually a long queue outside a fish and chips establishment means great fish and chips. Not here. The fish and chips were ok and the portion sizes are pathetic for the price you pay.Take the drive to Hout Bay, its worth it!

One of the best fish and chips restaurant/takeaways in the Gordon’s Bay area. Prices are reasonable with quite a large variety to choose from, and the Calamari was really good. Directly opposite the main beach, it’s just a winner!

Not to bad! Ive had some lovely seafood here over the years. The consistency has stayed the same and with a lovely seating area right on the beach it is highly recommended for all your fast food needs. Whether it be haked, calamari or fried all will be well done and deep fried. The staff is friendly and the owners ensure fresh and wholesome ingredients is used. More expensive than some of the surrounding fast fish takeways but worth it. My only critique would be the additional R10 for sauces added is a bit steep. These tend to be R2-3 at similar shops

This is the perfect beach side fish and chips restaurant, it has beauty in simplicity and the colour scheme was welcoming and lovely to be honest. The size of the prawns were a bit disappointing but the calamari and hake was devine.

My experience with Trawlers was bad. I bought a snoek parcel but snoek was cur in half and cost R95 a parcel. Yoh i was so disappointed because a aR70 parcel i buy in my hometown is much much better. I dont think i will ever buy from you when i am at the beach. I have photos to proof my point. That was daylight robbery in the worst that you can imagine.

Very fresh sea food and tasty...if you dont mind 1 hour and 20 minute waiting time queue.We do understand the restrictions during COVID19, with the sign that says only 2 customers allowed inside, but putting only 1 teller only?! Does not make any sense.We try to support the locals, but it becomes very difficult... please put another teller so the 2 customers inside sign will make sense and people wont need to wait so much.

Fresh seafood but everything is deep fried. Very tasty food. Its a fast food dining experience. Very polite staff. Intermediary price range for Rands meaning higher than fast foods.

Some days I just want to have my seafood deep fried in a nice crispy batter.. and this would be the place to go. unique with the manual order number calling to the relaxness of the sunset by the beach front. give it a go! seems to be a local favourite as well.
