I was here during the first Thursday of the month and realized that too many young people hanging in there.

We stumbled on this place because of the beautiful quote on the wall outside! The food was fresh and good! I was also a huge fan of the chill music, creating a very relaxed vibe. More than anything, the service was amazing. Really genuine, fun and kind people. I recommend trying this place!

Beautiful spot with so much heart. The staff is sooo friendly and make you feel welcome. I love that they make their food an name proud and provide to the less fortunate people as they do live their neighbours. Come here, order a drink and relax. You won’t be disappointed

This is a little place that offers great food at a reasonable prices. The pizzas was so good that I had to come back the next day for another one.

How do I rate the guys under the tent who make the burgers and chips 5 stars and the actual Love Thy Neighbour bar 1 star? The bar had 20 people waiting for drinks with no covid protocol and every payment took 15mins to process. A super slow card machine (only one) made me only have one drink, as I wasnt going to wait another hour. The guys making the burgers used a Yoco and payment happened instantly. My data was depleted and I wanted to go to my car to get my mobile wifi router & the burger guys said no, they will hotspot me for the task I needed to complete. I ordered a chicken burger, a beef burger and chips as take away from the awesome burger guys. Their packaging was very modern and once I arrived home, I had some of the best burgers and chips EVER!!!! The taste of their burgers were mind blowing!! They deserve more attention! They deserve branding! The chips didnt need any seasoning or sauce! This is proper quality fast food! Long live those burger boys!!

A nice set up but wasn’t carried out well. They’d had two or three options run out at around 8:30. Picked the chicken option and then was told that had run out. Took over an hour to receive the mains, which our server twice picked up on but didn’t seem to expedite getting the food out to us. The restaurant wasn’t busy either. The food received was fine, but totally put off by the length of wait and poor service.

I love the vibe of this place, i was not happy with my burger, but the service is impeccable. they did not charge me for my burger and i appreciate their hospitality. will come back due to the great service!

One of my favourite spots at the moment. Laid back in the best way. Food is delicious and staff is great. All round great experience every time! Must try for me is the aubergine and lamb shoulder! Then drinks at Hanks next door!Lekker

Fabulous affordable options to mix and share. Super fresh. I loved the watermelon slices available as a side. At R10 each perfect on a scorching day. Service friendly and atmosphere relaxed.

I may not have experienced the place myself but I wish to commend them for the good that they do.I work not to far from there and pass Love they neighbour on Bree street everyday.I have,on more than one occasion, seen the outside area packed with homeless and less fortunate people of all ages.I wondered what it was about....Until someone told me that they feed these people.I was immediately filled with heartfelt emotion and gratitude and for that I wanted to say THANK YOU.Thank you for your kindness and goodwill..

Always great to pop in for a drink, they have quite a large selection, good for watching sport too.It does have stairs leading up to the area so not disabled friendly.Drinks are reasonably priced, they also sell food.There is a trendy crowd that hangs out and popular with students.

My wife and I were welcomed at the entrance by a charming waiter. We shared the burger and the fried aubergine strips with a bottle of red wine - a combination made in heaven! Burger was grilled to perfection, juicy and tasty. Great vibe. Will be back.

Good inexpensive food, nice location, nice ambiance. Nice for dinner and the service is good.

Its been called many names over the years, but after taking on a new Greek head chef this little outside beer garden restaurant is a real pleasure to eat at. All meals are cooked over an open wood fire outside in the court yard which is surrounded by a steel fence which gives you a sense of security in town that you wont get anywhere else. That last star is reserved for when they managed to get their live entertainment license back after the grumpy lady across the road complained about the noise.

Very impressed by the excellent Greek food. The squid was brilliant and my sovlaki was super tasty.

The non alcoholic drinks selection is basically non existent. Pizza was decent.

Nice place but staff needs to clean all the gum from under the tables. My pants are ruined after a visit here. Dont think I will be returning.

Totally loved this place! Chillaxed vibe, Good music, and the most tastiest food. We raved about the halloumi, zucchini chips, braaied lamb chops, calamari, olives for weeks after. Even the vodca, lime & lemonade tastes so good there (freshly squeezed). Cant wait to go back... real soon. This is a definite MUST!! Tables seated outside with the food on the braai, fantastic service, I cannot fault this place AT ALL.

The terrace outside invites you to linger. The staff was nice and courteous. The slight smoke aroma of the grill did the rest. Only smoking at the other tables (common in South Africa) was a bit annoying.

It is a modern Hipster type restaurant. They serve grilled Greek-style dishes. Sardines, meat and snacks. The first waitress who met us on the terrace was super nice. Then as it was cold we asked to go inside and the waitress who attended us was very unpleasant, a girl with Brakets; He forgot half of the things and that supposedly had them pointed to the very edge and on top of that he got angry because we didnt give him a lot of tips.

Fantastic nice place with friendly staff! We ate the pizza and the chicken burgers which were amazing, incredibly tasty. Theres nothing to complain about! Will definitely come back.
