I didnt get the chance to order through uber eats (rated top eats) so I decided to go there to try something new.Had the Meat Platter as a starter. The meats were excellent. The fried Montanare foreshadows just how good the pizza is going to be.The Vesuvio pizza was mind blowing. The dough is very special and tasty. Definitely going to be trying different flavours.The seafood pasta was super tasty. Love the sauce with the pasta. Very fresh mussels, prawns and calamari. Pasta was not overcooked, just right.All around great food and service.

Simply one of the best pizzas in South Africa. The consistency and the ingredients are the closest you can get to the tasty pizzas in Naples.

My husband an I had a wonderful time. For a true Italian experience, this place is a must. We will be back for more. Tasty food and a very professional waiter! Thank you guys for bringing Italy to our door step.

Service was poor. Had to wave the waiter over to place our order. Two waiters in a full restaurant. Lasagne was burned on top and chewy from standing under the warmer. Pizza verde was oily and base was soggy, probably combination of oil rich toppings and standing under the warmer. The recommended t-bone steak was tough as old rubber and the side pasta was not worth the trouble. When we gave feedback to the waiter he was taken aback and the owner said if you don’t like it, leave. We did and won’t be back. I love supporting local places, so I’ll go to Lupa or Little Italy instead.

Was soooooooo looking forward to having dinner there tonight, BUT... There was an overpowering odor of eucalyptus/Vicks in the air. On top of that the waitor who seated us reeked of sweat. Unfortunately these are not smells conducive to ones appetite, so we unfortunately had to leave.

One of the best pizza joints Ive found in Cape Town so far. I keep coming back. I love sitting outside with a draught, waiting for my takeaway order. Lovely waiters and friendly staff. Great food.

Terrible service ! No actually appalling!!!Drove from the southern suburbs on a Saturday evening with a hungry 7 y/o and thought that this restaurant was the answer (being unfamiliar with the northern suburbs). Waited what seemed like forever to be seated. Once seated we watched while others who arrived after us were being attended to..No one but no one came to attend to us.. not the waiters..not the owners - who blatantly ignored us, patrons who had been waiting for service for more than twenty minutes. It was as if we were invisible! My son even tried to wave a waiter down, unsuccessfully as the owners watched . Being in the hospitality industry, would not ever recommend.

Best pizza in the whole of South Africa.If you have been to Naples and had pizza at famous places like Lantica pizzaria da Michele and Gino Sorbillo. This is about the closest you will get to the real thing!If you dont like a soft, juicy base dont have the pizza.The pizza is meant to be soft, so that you can fold the whole pizza and then eat it.

Arrived at 12:10 for lunch, they still had their sign showing closed. I ordered a cappuccino and discussed with the waiter what was good to try. I ended up selecting their Bianco Verde pizza. My coffee took ages and arrived only a few minutes before my pizza. The pizza itself was not well cooked, the base was wet and dropped so much when a slice was picked up the filling fell off. I ended up taking the filling off at the end and just eating that. My waiter never really looked in on me to find out if I was happy or not until I was more than halfway done and even though I told him what I thought he said sorry and left. All in all not the greatest experience, I do not believe I will return.

Best Pizza around. Normal drinks selection and Italian menu, the service is fantastic and a somewhat family orientated atmosphere.

1 Star is too much. Pizza soggy and doughy tastes like old vetkoek. Topping ok. Bolognaise was horrible took 2 bites it tasted like tomato paste watered-down mince chewy very unpleasant mouth feel. No Parmesan Pasta overcooked and soggy. I am very disappointed and we will never eat at this establishment ever again and will never recommend them to anyone that loves real Italian meals.

We were one of 3 tables that booked. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday, instead of telling us early in the night that they have run out of pizzas, we were told as we are about to order. We instead ordered risotto and a lasagne, which were cold and bland (the risotto was jasmine rice, the lasagne still cold from being frozen before). We saw our waiter twice the whole night and had to order drinks ourself from the bar constantly. We complained about the food, asked for the bill and had intended on leaving, when the rude owner came to us with the bill. We refused to pay for the disgusting food on the table but said we would pay for starters, drinks and corkage. We were kindly told to “f*#k off!” and get out. So we did. So sad to have this experience, as we drove a really long way to eat here and really enjoyed it the last time.AVOID.

Went here for the first time today and its ok.Not mindblowing good food but its ok.Wife had the seafood pasta, noodles were a bit al dente and the sauce was to rich in the meal.It was a tomatoe sauce used.I think a white wine cream sauce would have been better.The waitet welcomed us and was full of energy but we only saw him when he took the order and brought the check.I think the lockdown is the reason for too few staff so I cant complain as he was running between tables.His service for the begining and end was fine.Would I return?...not sure.Cost wise, a bit on the expensive side and the portions are not that big.

We had 4 delicious pastas. So nice to have something different! Dessert was great too. Icecream with caramelized almonds and chocolate sauce. 2 can share. Lovely vibe.

I really liked the ambiance at this spot. The staff were friendly but not overbearing, which was great. The place seems to be a small family run operation, which I love. I had a seafood pasta dish and it was delicious... my only problem and hence only 4 stars is I am still hungry... The portion was not big at all and not enough to fill a hungry traveller. Not much vegan or vegetarian options but its authentic Italian dishes.

Ordered 2 pizzas in the am to ensure my clients receive their pizzas who are in the same complex in Tygerwaterfront at 13h00...at 15h00 the pizzas still not there. Nobody confirmed it was never done either...thats theft btw. Poor communication, owner does not care. Very sad to have done the effort to ask them hours in advance and pay eft beforehand too. In times like this...at least give a damn about your reputation man.

Went for lunch with my sister today waiter was lovely, unfortunately the pizza we had base was so under cooked you could see the dough had not settled when l approached the owner just to give him feedback back on the pizza he had a l dont care attitude telling me they make 200 pizzas a day soft base but how is a soft base raw dough l asked him he just didnt care what a bad service experience will never go there again

Beautifully decorated Italian restaurant. The staff was friendly with good service. I was one of the very first customers when the restaurant opened and I still go back every now and then for a good Italian pizza.

Food portions are way to small for the price and waiter was not very attentive. Was seated for 10min before a waiter decided to help us. Ask for rare fillet and got over cooked well done. Will not waste my time to ever go there again. Owner got no care attitude and do not see to customers needs.

I firmly believe in giving a place a second chance - maybe the dish you had wasnt good, but maybe another one is amazing. Not the case here - nice vibe, friendly waiting staff but the food is just not good. When I feel like some damn good pizza, this is not the go to place. I have been to better venues. We were a table of 8 and the service we got was poor. One pasta dish was over cooked and we didnt receive our food all at the same time. Wont recommend to others.

Stacked as usual, we had to sit on the veranda with awnings and gas heaters. A smoker came out and smoked where we were seated with our kids. Our waiter kindly asked him not to smoke “near the minors”. I wouldnt have complained, but the considerate attitude of this restaurant with great food and relaxed vibe is yet another reason why we go back and back again! What a gem!

Very relaxed Italian place. Its quite dark and the benches at some of the tables are not the most comfy. The food is pretty tasty though so if you are not too phased about the interior and like a more rustic vibe, you will enjoy this restaurant.

You can banter with the staff and the customers at the table next to you while you eat the most delicious wild boar sausage gnocchi in Cape Town followed by a melt in your mouth limoncello tiramisu!
