The place inside is totally different from the look you get from the outside. It has a modern, clean and simple feel. I love the way they used wood for decor on the wall and for the logo. The welcome was warm. I am not sure whether it is the same when there are customers because I came at a quite period.

I am addicted to Haru Ramen - absolutely delicious and filling. Also try the green tea. I have yet to try something at Haru that I havent enjoyed. No liquor license yet but on its way, so make sure to bring your own if you fancy a drink.

That was my first time visiting this place. It hasnt been that long since their opening so there were a lot of people. We waited quite long after ordering the sushi so I was a bit upset and hungry but as I ate the sushi all my feelings was forgave. The taste of fresh prawn, salmon and well fitting rice was a next level thing. I have to say that it is the best sushi place in Cape Town. As you eat the sushi you will understand everything. Besides the sushi the ZARU SOBA and TEMPURA UDON was also fantastic.When I went there the second time the speed was more faster therefore I believe that a tasting of the food will be more faster.Wait for it and you will be able to have the most fantastic time eating sushi.

Haru has a large variety of Japanese food. We ordered fried dumplings and vegetable tempura as starters. Dumplings were good but it was quite pricey for the size of it. The tempura were fried very well but wasnt much saltiness to it and the sauce was very light. For the main meal we had the tonkotsu and shoyu Ramen. Both were excellent in flavour and the portions are huge. Overall, great experience. I would come back to try the sushi.

One of the only places that serves South Korean dishes. Properly executed with authentic ingredients. Their new section serves pizza. Even have a choice between Mozzarella or a Secret 3 cheese base. Really Yummy 😋. They run a 40% discount special at the moment. Will go back soon.

Excellent service. Extensive menu that includes burgers etc for those not into eastern food. We went the ramen route as its a speciality. Got served a bowl of plain 2 minute noodles (not joking) with no extras for R80. Wont be going back.

Been here a few times now. A good range of sushi / Japanese and korean dishes. Food always good and fresh. They took over the pizza restuarant next door so offer pizza/pasta so works well if bringing kiddies. Service excellent.

Our favorite sushi restaurant also now serves Pizza and Burgers .... making choosing very difficult. The Pizza’s (only had the Korean style Pizzas) are very good. They are very thin and crispy base. The Burgers are some of the best in Cape Town.

Best sushi I have had in a long time. So fresh and generous amount of filling which is sadly hard to find. Their specialty sushi is amazing, but the more traditional Maki and California rolls are the winners. Absolutely amazing. I will be going back soon to sample the rest of the menu.

Probably the best sushi Ive tasted in Cape Town. Little hidden gem! Dragon Roll is on a level but actually the fashion sandwiches stole the show. Such a good amount of filling you can actually taste what fish you are eating + deep fried salmon skin??!! FTW!

I shared an amazing experience with my daughter earlier. Everything lined up to create beautiful memories for us. From the Asian minimalist ambience, the waitresss exuberance and menu knowledge, to the Owners openness to feedback. The food was beautifully prepared and served and eagerly consumed. And low and behold in walked two tall K-pop like young men bowing in greeting and then left again. Magic. See you soon Haru.

We had a great evening at Haru. The space was well laid out and everything ran very smoothly.I opted for the cold noodle soup which was unusual but delicious! The waiter took time to help us understand the dishes we werent familiar with and everyone enjoyed what they ordered.(Although its a Korean restaurant you can also order sushi.)Thanks for the good experience - well definitely be back.

Poke was good. Ramen lacked sufficient veg as did the crumbed pork plate. Otherwise, good efficient service. Decent space.

Theres a reason why Haru is situated outside of the CBD and on a passing road... What a tasteless meal! From the start to the main meals. What started as great service ended up feel like a poorly runned drop out place. Everything about this place is BLAND! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT NOR RETURN!! Its forgettable the minute you take your first bite.

The waitresses were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was great. The food order however did not come together and at a table of 5 two were finished before the rest arrived😐.
