Zibaldone was recently recommended and as we had an appointment in Bellville, we decided to give it a try. This upmarket Italian restaurant must serve the best food I have had in a long time and the service was outstanding. Sadly there are just not enough really good Italian restaurants around, offering as many great choices and superb wines. They even have a selection of Italian wines.We made the mistake of asking for an onion and mild garlic pizza to nibble while deciding on the main menu. It was so delicious we could not stop eating it. This was followed by Pork Fillet served with a Gorgenzola cream sauce on Gnocci and fresh sprigs of Brocolli. My partner ordered Saltimbocca which he found “Tasty, tender and absolutely delicious”. Looking out of the window on the water’s edge, we were transported back to our trip in Santorini where we first tasted “Cantuccini & Vin Santo” a delicious Biscotti which is dipped into a sweet sundried dessert wine. I cannot wait to go back for more.

Beautiful, intimate Italian restaurant with a breathtaking view as it is situated the Tygervalley Waterfront. The waiters are welcoming, friendly and dont mind explaining the food options on the menu. The food was delicious and enough portion size. Had a pleasant time and will definitely be returning soon!

Service was perfect with great atmosphere. I took the pizza, sadly they didnt cook it through properly but was still tasty. Told the waitress i would give them another chance :)

Food was fantastic, great Italian food in a intimate setting perfect date night for couples but relaxed enough to have a family dinners too. Alcohol is also reasonably priced. Highly recommend the dessert.

Recently went to a fine dining restaurant in the wine lands and had Risotto. Was so disappointed that i had to come and see the “ brothers” at Zibaldone again to taste what real Risotto taste like. 😅

Excellent food, especially the pastas! The service is exceptional as well. I can confidently say its one of the best Italian restaurants in the northern suburbs, you will not be disappointed. Next time Ill have a woodfired pizza, cant wait!

Im a simple man with simple tastes so never thought Id enjoy my recent visit to Zibaldone as much as I did. The waiter was around when you needed her but never bothersome. The food was delicious; definitely my new favourite place as far as ravioli goes. And I regret not ordering a dessert because they looked like little artworks.Bonus: There was a family celebrating a graduation and the father ordered a glass of champagne for the entire restaurant. Talk about Italian hospitality. Saluti!

Lovely Italian restaurant!!! Service was exceptional, the Filter coffee I had was divine, and the Penne al Forto (I think) was truly delicious!! The flavour and cheesiness was perfect.

In the area that I live this is the Italian restaurant! Having been going there on and off over the years and have never been disappointed. Tasty real Italian dishes. The brothers who own and run it are authentic Italians. Great service, classic feel and tasty food make this a perfect place.

Great Italian restaurant, delicious food. The venue is smart and clean, the waitress we had was friendly professional and knowledgeable. It was cold and raining when we were there but I imagine it would be even better in summer when one can sit outside.

Wow! The flavours! All the meals we ordered was TOP NOTCH (we had 4 different ones)! Ask about the seasonal specialities and do ask the waitrons to explain the dishes; youll want to try everything! Sensational!

Wow. The food is amazing authentic Italian cuisine. The owners take a personal interest in everything and welcome everybody with a smile. The staff are friendly and discreet. The prices are a bit high but worth it. Good food, good vibe and just a place you will visit again and again. Good news for all food lovers. They have a generator, so I am not being deprived of amazing food and an excellent time.

Seafood pasta a must and the kids loved the spaghetti bolognaise. The waitress was so friendly and patient, she certainly made our experience a great one.

This place is great. Food and service amazing. Yet somehow it feels a bit clinical. Maybe the decor could be updated.

My favourite restaurant. Every meal Ive had here has been exceptional. I recommend asking the staff or owner what theyd recommend on the day, as they are very knowledgeable and may have special dishes on the day. My only complaint is that I cant afford to go there more often.

Order messed up, and waitress does not take responsibility for her mistakes. Hot chocolate arrived barely luke warm. Pizza very average. No atmosphere. All and all a bad experience.
