Awesome store. The plumbing department is especially helpful. I had an issue with a valve, and they replaced it, no questions asked. Great service. The person who assisted me was Kenneth, he has good knowledge on the plumbing department and he and the rest of the staff in the plumbing department are helpful and resourceful.

Service is always exceptional. Builders Warehouse is sometimes cheaper on several items but good luck trying to get the same quality of service (if you can find any) or product knowledge.

The problem with hardware stores is they arent designed for social distancing. There were perhaps more people in the store than I would have liked, but still had a very friendly and helpful experience from the staff.

Amazing service. I had trouble finding a specific type of battery charger and nobody seemed to have one. I went to Brights and Sean ordered one even though it wasnt an item that the store generally stocked.

Lousy store. Poor service. Always something out of stock. Refund policy states a handling fee MAY be imposed, not ENFORCED when returning goods. Ill rather drive 20km out of my way and go to Brights Uitzicht.

Poor service was waiting long time for someone to help me and then they were not able to mix paint for me in a colour i picked from the pamflets without eny reason wont go back there again

I recently went to Brights Plattekloof to buy a Ryobi tool and found that it wasn’t available in store. Yazeed assisted me by phoning the supplier and ordering the tool. This young man went beyond the call of duty. Not only did he phone me to let me know that it had arrived (as expected) but he did a follow up call a few days later to let me know that should he not be in when I collected it that it had been safely placed in their storeroom. Such professional and friendly service! Thank you Yazeed, great customer service!

I would be lost without a Brights nearby. Brights is truly amazing. Good stock of just about anything one needs round the house and garden with plenty to offer for car care too. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help and order what they might not have. Brights have spoilt me, I could never live far away from a Brights hardware shop.

Wow the elderly, Einstein look a like gentleman at the electricity or lighting department is in another calibre of greatness - not only does he know the items, which one will suit your pocket the best, he can also show you how it works and explain the entire process in detail so that a novice will be able to understand. Thank you. He is my nr 1 go to uncle when visiting the store.

My son had a Gr9 school project to prepare for which included buying items like transistors and resistors etc and after 3 shops we ended up at Brights. Luyando, the shop assistant in the electric department, knew exactly what we wanted, what it was for and even put them in labelled bags so we could tell them apart. So amazing!! Thank you for making our project experience a LOT less stressful!!

My parents had keys for their security gate made here. The reason for my visit was because they didnt work so I took them back, found out they used the wrong type of key to make the keys. Took awhile to get this corrected. Staff could have been more inviting but they did solve the problem eventually

Staff helpful and they had what I needed. Pretty pricey

I really had the worst experience in brights I wanted shelves similar to the ones I was carrying. No one assisted me to carry the shelves until the last minute and then the guy who took them from me dropped my shelf and it cracked the corner, and acted like nothing happened no apology or anything. He assisted me to measure the shelf but gave me incorrect measurements. Then I got accused of stealing when leaving the store carrying my own shelves. I dont think I will ever go back to this establishment.

Not as big as the others but the staff seem to always be to busy to help. Walked around with my daughter trying to get something for 20min and the staff kept passing us on. The trading hours are good and the location for us works well.

Mostly visits there are great. Today they sold us a used pump and we had to do back and they had another used pump on the shelf! Made in China, the only one left was made in Italy!! Yay!! Only R178 more.
