Always great service from Virtue with the paint matching. The hardware store has two levels and just about anything you would need. Always a pleasure shopping there. Big up yourselves.

Bought gas here for the first time. The prices were different to online price. A 19kg gas only lasted 2 weeks. Wil never buy gas here again. I was sceptical was the old total gas tank. Because we were in a hurry I didnt check. Oryx green tank is the best. I worked in a gas shop and have plenty knowledge and experience but this is a total rip off

This place has a huge selection of DIY goods. From paint to gardening things. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. They listen and can help you come up with fixes at your home. Only drawback is everything is a bit pricey compared to other hardware stores

Helpful and fully stocked

This is MY hardware store (I dont own it, I just wouldnt think of going anywhere else in Sea Point, and there are others). Although they have just about everything, theyre quite old fashioned in their ways. They have lots of floor assistants, the assistants actually know their stuff and on top of it they can give tips + advice. Their prices are very competitive.

Recently painted a few room in my apartment and their staff were awesome each time i was rushing back to fetching things i had forgot about.Love that they are open on a Sunday, makes such a huge difference.If you choosing to do a DIY project or get items for someone else to do the work this is definitely the right place.

Very furnished store but not impressed with the service. I am 8 months pregnant and bought a whole bunch of heavy staff. No one offered to help me. I also had to ask the shop assistant to please wear his mask.

I have always loved Laughtons - the Review of one star today relates to the website stating the store is open 09:00 on Sundays - there were 3 cars including ours waiting for the store to open today, the least the owners can do is update the hours of operation on the website and not waste the time of your customers who have planned our day and now have to drive to Builders outside town in Nothgate. Today was disappointment :-(

Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable which is great if you dont know much, as is the case with me. I always leave feeling like Ive made an informed purchase.much better than going to another store and purchasing five other products trying to find the right thing.
