A lovely venue and reasonably priced. The food at Rooibos Restaurant is very nice, but it did take more than an hour to get our food this evening. I think our order got lost between all the takeaway orders. After enquiring about it, the food arrived fairly quickly. The waitress was friendly and the bathroom was clean and neat.

We did our bit for the restaurants this evening and bought nice take aways from Rooibos tonight. It was reasonably priced, well prepared and we did not have to wait too long either.But nobody was wearing their masks ! There were masks, but the 3 women wore theirs around the chin and the manager / owner hanging around did not wear one at all.I wonder what the kitchen staff was wearing ?Guys. We are going out of our way to support you. Do the right thing and wear your flipping masks !!

Perfect pizzas, very tasty, nice base.... BUT 1 hour 16 min wait for a 2 pizza order... Not being informed it could take that long because of special night... Really spoiled the experience.... At least inform customers if its going to take THAT long... To either mentally prepare or make alternative plans, but to be told every 15 min.... Just another 2 minutes.... Did not do it for me

Since having your nachos (I always add Bolognaise sauce) every other restaurants nachos disappoint every single time!! I used to only eat homemade nachos because that way I could load on the toppings. Other restaurants always seem to skimp on the toppings. And then I discovered your nachos.... Loaded with Guacamole, sour cream, cheese sauce and toppings - just how nachos are meant to be!! Man oh man are they good! And the portion size is incredible. My boyfriend dislikes nachos but he will happily eat yours any day. The best nachos weve ever eaten, hands down! He LOVES your ribs as well - soft, juicy and always falling off the bone. Mmhmm!

Rooibos is truly a lovely restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Their food is great and it is always served with a smile. The owner is very friendly and goes out of his way to make their customers feel comfortable. Keep up the good work

Seems as if one has to book. When we arrived, no tables available other than next to the kiddies play table. Nice of them to accept our party anyway. After placing drinks order and requesting another table, another waitress said shell make a plan and we were nicely relocated. Had to wait quite long every time for service. They were only 2 or 3 waitresses, so probably quite busy. Atmosphere quite noisy with bad acoustics, becoming louder as the evening progressed. In our party, 1 pizza was crispy, and the other soggy but neithers dough were seasoned. Seems to be a nice family restaurant with nice family food, and very friendly staff. Just not my cup of tea...

Pizza raw. I ate a burger and my wifes pizza base was raw. Waited 30 minutes after I ate my burger. Took the Pizza as a take away. I had to ate on my own. Not good at all. I will not go back again.

Rooibos is great! Its burgers, pizza and ribs, chicken and salads. The service was good and the food was delicious... Big portions and well priced. Was there for lunch and its also pretty beautiful. Vegetarians will enjoy the choices. There are tvs there for sports if you want to catch a game. Love it and will definitely be visiting there again. They said they have Wifi available but we didnt end up using it, there is a sign though.

Awesome place with the best milkshakes in town, and pizzas made right in front of you, very delicious. There is also a bar and you can enjoy sitting outside if you like.

Pizzas were excellent, but the service was non existant. Even to pay, took 10 minutes or more. If you have lots if time to wait, try it out.

Awesome experience!

We went there to support a local restaurant and because the reviews were good. The waitress was kind, courteous and mostly professional. However the food did not live up to the reviews. The restaurant itself did not look, feel or smell clean, I actually put my mask back on. We ordered some starters which were fine. For mains we ordered 3 pizzas and 2 burgers. The burgers arrived before the pizzas. The waitress, about 15 mins later explained that the avos were R42 each and hard and that there was a problem with getting ripe avo. The bases looked shop bought and were not cooked through, and the cheese wasnt properly melted, the pizzas looked like the oven was not hot enough. Very disappointing indeed. Not even a full slice per pizza were eaten and we asked for boxes. We took the 3 pizzas and half a burger and gave them to some hungry people on the street. Our take on this, was that this was meant to be, and at least some hungry people will be less hungry tonight.

We hosted my Dads 60th there, from the set up till the last end we had excellent service, the food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals (from the starters to the desert). Very affordable and the quantity of food you get for the money you pay is above our expectations...we will defenitley be seeying you again very soon. Good Evening.Recently I was asked to do a review of Rooibos restaurant. I finally managed to organize some time to make a turn.I ordered the standard burger and chips for take away.While waiting I already noticed some of the staff not adhering to Covid 19 protocols. But that was not my main problem. When the burger arrived I was not happy with the size and flavours.But I let it slide due to the stress that the kitchen and management are under it must be pimpossible to be perfect.I do recommend Rooibos restaurant to people as it is local. Always support local.Just could you make a plan with parking please and the staff to adhere to protocols please

Nicely decorated place. Unfortunately tables and childrens section are too close and very loud. Food order took 1hour to arrive. Calamary very tasty and good value for money. Sirloin steak was very fatty.

Not a relaxing experience.We waited 55min for our main course. My very tiny chicken wings where not cooked fully. My ribs where burned to a crisp. The menu we received were incorrect with the ingredients in the Pastas. The waitress showed us after the dish came that the previous menu stated 3 meats in the Carbonara after we asked for the Bacon to be replaced.We informed the waitress before we left.P.s The chilly poppers where wonderfull for a starter.

Very nice little restaurant, thumbs up from me. It used to called Bella Venicia back in the day, which was an amazing Italian themed pizza restaurant. In recent years it has changed ownership more times than worth mentioning.It does look like the current owners have the right stuff to make it a success. The menu has expanded quite a bit, and offers most of the expected options, but the pizzas still seem to be the main attraction.Prices are reasonable, kids are welcome.Well worth a visit

I would recommend the new curry special on Saturdays. I have never tasted curry this good in a long time. Lovely to have such a nice dining experience close to home. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out it is the best service ever. They cater for kids and have a wide variety on the menu. The layout of the food is perfect and ever so tasty. A must to go to.

A bit of a mixed bags of feelings. I went in to order food, but spent 72min on the couch at the entrance waiting for 2 pieces of chicken schnitzel cooked average at best, a handful of chips, 5 chicken strips dry through and through, and 6 onion rings immensely tough to chew.The environment was friendly enough and was greeted with a smile, so kudos to that. 2 other patrons came in shortly before I got my food and had waited outside in their cars even longer than I had.With just over half the restaurant seating filled at the time and 4 patrons at the bar, I was told the kitchen is busy when enquiring about why my food took so long to make. Perhaps short staffed, or other technical difficulties Im unaware of..Whilst waiting for my food, the owner/manager (Im not sure who is who) was complaining to another senior staff/manager about kitchen staff behavior and cloths found on the floors. A conversation Im sure is better suited for the office directly behind me with closed doors.2 Stars because its my first experience with Rooibos. Perhaps a once off issue. Will try them again at some point and update.

I am so glad we found Rooibos Restaurant. This is truly a unique place with great food run by Husband and Wife. I recommend the jack & cheese burger. One of the best.

Very disappointing, not the same as the previous owners. Food was very VERY slow, other clients requesting their meals in take away boxes because they waited so long, pastas cold and under cooked.Chaos and lack of decisive leadership.

Friendly staff, great food and drinks. Nice little separate bar, restaurant is warm and cozy with a fire going. The pizza really impressed me.

An old house which has been converted to a restaurant and pub. The pub and restaurant are in 2 different areas, thus it is your choice whether you want a quiet relaxed dinner or more of a pub-type visit.Food is absolutely divine. Specials every evening and their chicken schnitzel is definitely worth the visit. Waiters go out of their way to make you feel at home. Very much of a homestead atmosphere. Will keep on going back.

This is more a bar than a family restaurant and all our clothes were full of cigarette smoke. The food pizza took almost an hour.On the upside it is great that you give kids chance to make their pizza, but then they have to wait more than 30min to eat it, that is terrible.
