I love this store! The staff are very friendly, and actually helpful! Big thanks to the lady who gave me advice about how to save on delivery. 😊Also, the delivery process for big items is quite fast. I literally waited a day for my purchase, and the delivery guys were extremely efficient and amicable. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

I visited Hi Fi corporation to return an item, had to wait long even though it wasnt busy. I then requested manager on the floor to assist and response was she didnt know how to complete forms that need to be forwarded to head office and the experienced person was busy.I just had to wait as she was not bothered,eventually the person with experience came and was also not impressed that manager was not interested to learn.My other item I bought was not new in the box, I could see it was a return from another customer. Customer service is just way below standards. I would never visit this store ever again.I have to wait for 14 days for a refund after so many back and forth. Im not impressed and all of them dont show any interest in the store.

Why is a thousand people behind the counter and I still move slowly in the queue? I went for the same thing at Willowbridge and did not have these issues.

Covid-19 seems to have affected the staff. I entered and walked between every aisle and exited without being approached by staff member or the manager... not even the security bothered to engage me. I know business is tough and spirits are down. Maybe next time i will be assisted.

I have never written a review before but I strongly had to for my service at N1 City mall. My tv broke (on warranty) and the amount of follow up calls and emails and incorrect details and address and poor service was insane and it lasted almost 1 month. To top it all off when my tv finally came back they didnt deliver my remote. I mean I had to phone and do follow up on my remote too. when it finally arrived today, it had no batteries! they took my batteries out, I mean wow. . By far the worst service.

I have recently received their 2021 booklet via the newspaper and it had a special on their laptops. I then proceeded to their website to purchase the laptop and upon searching for it the price did not match the advertised price. I then contacted support and spoke to Stewart who first told me the item was out of stock I then told him that I can see the item online, he then told me that the price has been updated and I need to look at the new catalogue which happens to be the exact same one I have but the laptop price has just increased? He then refused to assist me further, I then contacted support who as not even bothered to contact me back. Pathetic service and false and misleading advertisements!!

Phoned here on Friday enquiring about a watch, according to their website there was stock in store when we got there we were told there was no stock but there was stock in of 4 watches in kennilworth. Drove there yesterday to be told that they are also sold out.We then decided to purchase the watch online and received an sms this morning saying the watch was ready for collection.We went back to n1 city to be told that they are waiting for payment the cashier Called the manager who told her to tell us to speak to the online department.We asked to speak to him and he made it seem like it was the online departments fault and took no responsibility for this.He also did not try to give us a solution to the problemWe phoned the online department in front of him and he still seemed to be very frustrated and bothered by this.There is complete confusion between the store and the online and we will still have to go back again when the watch is in stock.Dane is a poor manager with a lack of responsibility or customer service.

Service really is horrible ! Worst branch to ever visit. I went there last weekend and there was no sales staff on the floor. I eventually had to go to their staff office to get someone and sales person was really not helpful at all. Then i was passed onto someone who was going to help me with the lay buy... She kept going around in circles and said she is going to the office to print...I waited and went to see what she was doing - i found her eating and laughing at videos with her colleague. I asked what she was doing and she said she is waiting for the copy machine. Went back to the front desk and she redid my application the 3rd time. Worst branch ever. From reading these reviews and my experience, Chantal should not be talking about my manager this or my manager that.she is an absolute gem and you can tell she knows her customer service. For the service shes provided, yall would get 5/5YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE IS SH!TI spent the whole day in an empty cold flat (mid COVID) waiting for a delivery. It is now 17:34 and there is still no delivery.For such a steep charge for delivery, one would expect high level of service but nope!FYI: if this is not delivered within the next 30 minutes, I will return the favour and reign sh!t all over that undeserving manager.

!!!!DO NOT PURCHASE ONLINE AT HIFI CORP!!!!I had a TERRIBLE experience. I purchased a brand new fridge online, only to find out that the fridge, they delivered, does not get cold. Its been about 5 days now of me trying to call them and arrange for a new fridge to be delivered. R500 or more worth of food has gone off due to their faulty fridge and R400 worth of airtime wasted and hour long phone calls. Nothing has yet been resolved as they tell me there is a process and there is nothing they can do for sending me a broken fridge. Completely useless & slow customer service and their products are faulty. No compensation for the losses of money and time have been mentioned. So this is 2 part bad service. I purchased a TV online in December, a month later we noticed the TV is actually the problem. because I bought the TV online I logged a online request, month later no feedback...call the customer line, to be told that have to go to store. as the store technical department needs to deal with fault products. I have to either drive there with 65 tv that will obviously fit into my car easily ??? so they said we can call the store and they can send a tech. Not sure why would need a tech to confirm a screen that is bleeding, I just want New TV and they can take the old one.so they transfer me, line busy. I tried another 35 times my self, the line stays engaged. Call the customer lien again, they try put me thru to sales manager direct line, no answer.So they send a mail to store to call me, no joy still.Next day call the store, 15 times, no answer. Call the customer line again they try patch me to the store manager, no answer either.I went off at the agent, not being her fault. she has after this logged a complaint that store does not answer any phones or respond to internal emails to call clients.Honestly regret buying the TV via HifI sold have paid few rand more and bought it some where ells.No wonder only have few stores left and the other sister chains are also suffering.
