The Ferocious burger was R129 and was advertised as a gourmet burger but looked and tasted like a burger sold at a primary school bazaar. The chili sauce was unremarkable and comprised of the chilli,mayonnaise and tomato . The bun was not homemade at all and tasted like it was bought from Checkers earlier in the day. It was not toasted and to top it off the patty lacked taste .The chips were overdone and was the same consistency as lays. Not to mention that for a meal that is R129 , few chips were served. I am truly flabbergasted at the food served. The food was incredibly embarrassing and mundane. Cappellos has a great reputation for vibe and nightlife however their food was absolutely appalling . 0/10 . F for failed . Atrocious.

Pros: Lovely setting with some nice views. Rooms were neat and tidy. Very affordable.Cons: Huge pest problem i.e. flies, ants, cockroaches, mice, bed bugs, lizards, frogs. The kitchen was infested with cockroaches and flies and there was a mouse running the kitchen. During our breakfast, we were constantly waving off flies from our tables and our food. The breakfast was below par... half a slice of tomato, small portion of eggs, tiny bowl for cereal, the eating utensils were dirty (spoon, knife and fork). The juice they served us was of low quality.Theres room for improvement at this place because it has so much potential, it just needs some proper experienced hospitality managing.

This place is actually quite great. Sometimes it varies between a place where you can actually have drinks and talk, other times it feels like a full on club with loud music. Yes, there is a DJ, but sometimes you just dont know what to expect. Will definitely head there again soon.

Relaxing vibe with nice music

Its not even worth a star, Im a regular or was a regular if I may say. The bouncer could not let me in because I was wearing a more formal or can I say one of the pants I always wear when I visit the place. I wont say I up their sales but considering the fact that customer care is inevitable i felt dishonorable and uncredited. The bouncer was busy chatting with some lady and the next thing he told me Im not allowed to come in wearing the pants I had at which they were so descent. Considering the place that looks quiet chasing away spenders or loyal customers is just not justified. Any where will never come there again good luck with your new customers who you wont treat well.
