Avis is in a very convenient place as it is just on the main road and the staff there seems super friendly and helpful easy to get along with..so yes it is safe and convenient would recommend it for anyone to use it

Conveniently situated in main road Wynberg.Always offer good service.I use to collect in town and leave my car at the Wynberg branch.

After having returned a car I had driven here from Limpopo they have set debt collectors to get money from me when the money has been paid to them by Standard bank nearly 6 months ago! They keep on and on at me but Avis agree that they have the outstanding money, probably a scam of some kind!

Tried to rent a car from them. Was turned away because my Credit card was not from the same country as my id and drivers licence. I work out of the country thats why I have a credit card from a different country

PAY ATTENTION !! JUST A BUNCH OF FRAUDNever had my deposit back since august 2019. When you call or write them they tell that it is a bank problem.DO NOT USE AVIS IN SOUTH AFRICA.Italians, dont use Avis in Cape Town or South Africa you will have a lot of problems. In addition to trying to invent fake damage on delivery, Im still trying to get my deposit back which was around 180 euros and Avis Italia replies that relations with South Africa are complex because they do not have access to the rental documents (August 2019) and contact the bank. Avoid like the plague
