5 star service from Nicole! She was friendly from the get go and helped me out on short notice. Deposit was refunded promptly and I even got the balance of my money back when I gave 24 hour notice for early return. Will definitely use Carisma again!

Carisma is the only car hire company I will use/recommend in cape town. Nicoles service is spot on and the rest of the team are just as wonderful. Excellent prices, and a good variety to choose from.

Carisma Car and Bakkie Hire are what is in their name. We were very pleasant supposed with the car as it was an automatic and nearly new. The cost of hire was also very compet9as we did ship around and could not find the same car for the same price anywhere. Well done Carisma.

We collect & drop-off the car at airport which is SO convenient & their little Toyota Etios we hired these passed 6 days was a lovely run around car & super light on fuel. Just wanted to thank Carisma Car and Bakkie hire for the professional service .We arrived in Cpt on Wedensday and the Nicole was waiting for us .The professionalism and service delivery was such a welcome .Tonight our flight was delayed by more than an hour and had to keep Nicole waiting .Nicole greeted us with a beautiful smile and promptly checked our vehicle .All checks were done within minutes and we were on our way. The service i received from carisma was the most shocking and awful experience I have ever had. My rented vehicle was in an accident and after communication with the company, they told me I will have to pay an excess of R7000. With R4000 already covered by the deposit, I agreed and told them I would make payment.Upon returning the vehicle, they were very friendly at first as I went through the inspection process. As I was about to leave, when Nicole who was the woman I dealt with insisted I pay the balance of R3000 immediately. I told them I do not have these funds now and I will have to head back to the office and arrange a payment.She went hysterical shouting at the top of her lungs and threatening me to either pay the money now or they will not allow me to leave th premises. This was shocking because not only was she unprofessional but she behaved very uncivilized. I told her I cannot make the payment now because I have to go back to my office and arrange a payment with my accounts which was no problem for me.l but somehow this was not sufficient and she treated me like a thief who had just stolen from her.This was very disappointing coming from an employee. I recorded the whole encounter and I will seek legal advice as I feel like I was threatened and humiliated. Please be mindful when dealing with this individual and this company.

I wasnt informed that you had to wash the vehicle before returning it. The rubber Matt got muddy due to it raining on the day of hire, so they informed me I would be liable for a R120 cleaning charge! Disgusted.
