This Spar by far has the worst bakery when it comes to sweet treats. How on earth can you replace the egg whites of a lemon maringue with icing?????? I dont know if they trying to cut costs or something but that Spar looks a mess!

The store is nice and big and has a large variety of items, the place was clean and presentable to the public and I especially enjoy their Chikka Chicken kitchen as it was the biggest one I came across compared to the other SuperSpars Ive been at before. Minor tip though please reconsider the price on those desert cups standing next to the bakery they are a bit pricey compared to the other Spars.

I got a bad service ...i was told by a lady at hot foods that she cant help me first while i was waiting 10 min in the queue. She have to assist her BOSS first ( STORE MANAGER) that was her exact words was used.It is my first visit at Kuilsriver and buying in their town but treated badly .We frustrated by the COVID19 ques in Supermarkets now they make it worse not considering their clients. We all investing in this Country as our Economy is in the bad state. POOR service after free democracy of 1994...

Friendly staff, feels like family. Been with Spar from the start when the store used to be half the size and they delivered EXCELLENT service. Conveniently close to home for a quick stop. My favourite store. Seldom long queues. Nightmare parking though. Was pleasantly surprised with the menu at Beantree Café. My first sit down. Tried out a light breakfast while my husband was shopping. The best coffee I have tasted in a long time. Normal breakfast, nothing extraordinary, didnt disappoint. I know their lunch wouldnt disappoint either. We regularly get take away lunch. Still room for improvement. Spar needs to up their game again, their standard is dropping when it comes to their produce.They used to be excellent, have since dropped to normal. Given some thought, the secret is in their staff. Dont know what their rates are, I remember our son who is now 34, used to casual over weekends @R6/ hour in High School. When remuneration is attractive, you attract staff with ideals, who take ownership, are proud of what they do. Attain them, they wont seek for other employment. Spar seriously need to look into this. Tired of calling back and returning products. Nothing as bad as when your expectations arent met. You dont do purchases with the expectation of returning it again. Ive also noticed certain suppliers stock had been removed from the shelves, forcing prospective customers to take or leave what Spar offers. Spar Zevenwacht, a larger store, has wider ranges of products, bigger varieties, sushi bar, their deli is inviting. So is their fruit and vegetables. All understandable. What happened to the regular Stir-fry? Zevenwacht unfortunately does not have that personal touch like Kuils River, which is why we are still supporting them, loyal customers. Love Spar Kuils River.

Very good used to be excellent. Shopping and eating place. Since the public toilets was removed you cant stay long, because if you on certain tablets. You cant enjoy your meal without something to drink and once you drink something, you might just need a toilet.

One of the best Spars in the area know this shop since its inception always friendly and great service from management to the rest of the staff.

Like going here. Staff is always helpful, and the security guards really helpful. My mom is aged and they look out for her and help her. I really like this Spar plus they have had a upgrade in their little coffee bar/restaurant.

Nice small store with most of what you need and long operating hours of 8pm is much appreciated when you need one item or another for something.

Service at the bakery sucks. Person helping here, dont know her name. Makes a way to help a customer at the counter that came after me. Then when I ordered my mousse her response was, REALLY NOW.

This Spar is one of the oldest shops in Kuilsriver yet its service is always consistent I like how the staff compliments the friendliness, cleanliness and welcoming nature that daily business has always been conducted.

Am a good customer of Spar Kuilsriver Aroma centre; on an average I buy one cup of white coffee per day. Last week 19th March 2019 Tuesday; I bough a cup of coffee as usual before my shift, the person I sent put the cup on a coffee on a table, the lid of the coffee was not closed properly at the time I wanted to drink, the cup slept from my hand and fell on the floor. I then sent the person back to the shop, with the invoice and the picture as an evidence, asking the manager if he/she could make another cup of coffee because the lid was not closed properly and I could not drink from it yet it has spilled on the floor. The manager answer was Dont take chances... I kept quiet and suffered.Today 25/03/2019, I send someone to buy me a cup of coffee, I received my coffee however the cup of coffee has cool drink lid on ( coke cup lid ) , please I would like to know how will I drink this coffee??? Do I have to use a paper straw for my coffee???? This is not acceptable. I sent someone to go get my money back or get the right coffee cup lid on; my staff return with the same coffee and she said that they could not help her. I decided to go back myself to return that coffee with a cool drink lid on and then requested a refund. The staff at the kitchen / restaurant are rude... no apology, Am very disappointed. Very poor service, unprofessional staff.I can provide pictures.Thank you.
