Wow! Now this is a proper fish and chips shop! If you are looking for value for money, freshly caught and deliciously prepared fish and chips then this is the place to get it in Strand/Somerset West.The fish is so fresh it melts in your mouth with a crispy and deliciously seasoned batter. Chips are proper old school with salt and vinegar (optional).The portions are more than adequate.The calamari was also amazing.They also sell fresh fish to take home, and if you want also frozen seafood products.Prices are very reasonable and worthwhile.The staff who cook and serve were all extremely friendly.A great experience and I can only highly recommend them.Please like the review (thumbs up icon below) if you found it useful!

THE CRISPY FRIED FISH AND FRIES WERE DELICIOUS👌.I LOVED THE HOMEMADE GINGERBEER.I BOUGHT LOVELY FRESH FISH WHICH WAS PACKED IN ICE FOR THE LONG ROAD TO CAPE TOWN BECAUSE IT WAS A VERY HOT DAY. THE STAFF WAS POLITE AND VERY HELPFUL.I LOVED IT THERE.👌👍❤

We have always shopped at fish for Africa.They sell fresh fish on a daily basis.The prices are affordable and the shopping experience is always very neat and hygienic.

Super fresh fish and it has become our go to for buying fish for making sushi at home. They have always had salmon, and sometimes have tuna suitable for sushi.Since visiting weve also started eating more fish and getting comfortable buying fish just because it is clear the fish is fresh and of a great quality.

Perfectly cooked fish and lovely crispy chips - I think it is the best - had to give a 4 as the music/sermon is so loud it is impossible to talk to fellow diners. Is is really necessary to listen to a sermon while eating?

Best grilled fish in the Helderberg.

It is a fisheri that has fresh seafood and a small takeout in store. Not the best takeout food for fresh seafood being used from the fisheri. I will go back to buy seafood, but I wont be ordering any food for takeout.

I can honestly say that the seafood at this little restaurant is absolutely incredible! On top of that it is very affordable! They also do take away. You absolutely have to try it.

This is pretty much the best place for a wide variety of fresh fish in the area, and the prices are good too. I always go in and ask whats fresh that day. Obviously not something you can do at a supermarket!

I was very surprised by the large portion of freshly fried fish and potato chips I received by a friendly waitress! The price also made the meal very worthwhile.

Best Golden brown Calamari strips and very generous portions. My kids and I simply love this place. Brilliant for a lunch time bite after visiting the local Mall.

This is a good place for a quick takeway lunch and even fish for dinner. There is a lovely viriaty of fish products aswell.You can even place an order just befor you go pick it up and the staff is very helpfull and friendly
