It is well situated in Woodstock, appreciate the assistants there as they ensured we remain well received and observe COVID protocols. The Cafè itself is spacious and the atmosphere encourages one to have really good conversations with the person you are with.
Great coffee, delicious food and unbeatable prices. My favourite spot to work away from home. Cannot recommend enough
Love their coffee and been supporting their roastery for the past 3 years. Heavily disappointed in the food portion. We came for lunch expected the usual portion we receive when ordering soup or sandwiches. Instead received a small slither of bread for R65. We ordered the Salmon Zest Open Sandwich. Expecting the usual when you order this dish at other eateries. We spoke with the manager who offered that we buy some of the pastries at the counter. Which we werent about to do as the meal already came to R100.
Amazing vibe. Loved it at first visit
Best sandwich and coffee ever!
Good coffee. Good meeting place with plenty of space to work.
I had a pretty disappointing experience with my breakfast this morning. The bacon was very hard and the toasted bread I could barely eat.I was quite hungry and looked forward to my breakfast as I know Tribe to be a great place for that.
I dont think I can reccomend tribe more. Lesley and the guys always manage to make my day so much brighter ❤️
Great place with great coffee and nice staff. All Covid-19 measures in place 👌
Excellent , good coffee and ambiance .
Vegan wrap was amazing, and the coffee is always win 👌
What a wonderful little gem we found today. Looking for something to eat and great coffee. Well go no further!I almost didnt want to do a review and keep this place to our selves. Excellent meeting place. Great affordable food and coffee. Will definitely recommend.
Cute and cozy coffee and eatery diner
Best Coffee in SA 👍
Coffee at its best! Damn you lockdown its has been way too long!!! Today! I got my coffee from Tribe!😂👍
Smoothest espresso in the most hipster neighborhood in town. No doubt!
Great coffee and vibe in one of Cape Towns best coffeeshops. Perfect for breakfast, lunch and working.
Am I hip enough to deserve the excellent coffee they serve here? Muffin choice could be better.
Great coffee and the food is excellent! There is also loads of parking. Well worth a visit!
Absolutely disappointed with our breakfast this morning! Pancakes with egg and bacon was nothing like the photos shown here. Paper thin pancakes, undercooked bacon. Terrible presentation. And worst of all, the iced coffees that we were so looking forward to were such a let down. They were just coffee with ice instead of the amazing iced coffee we had here a few months ago, which definitely were my favourite in town. What happened guys?
Friendly staff, fresh ingredients for the food. Freshly squeezed juices 😍 they have all day breakfast which I quite like. Theres inside and outside seating so choice of where to enjoy your food.
Probably the best breakfast spot in Woodstock with good coffee, but service is not that good, and ordering system is not clear
We buy our beans for coffee at home here. The beans are freshly roasted and consistent in flavour. The Decaf and Guatemala Chocolate Block beans are our staples. The restaurant was not as much of a hit. The coffee is great, but the staff not very attentive.
Great staff. Very good coffee. Good food and prices but not much selection. Great place to chill
Great coffee!!! Breakfast omlete was excellent and all reasonably priced.
Coffee is world class. (5 star). Service (5 star). Great atmosphere. Great location. Perfect escape from the hustle of woodstock.Food could do with a little improvement.
The little shopping complex its located in is great. I did not enjoy the cappuccino but that is just my taste. (very bitter). They server your coffee in cheap take away cups which is rather off putting.
This place employs autistic kids and disabled people to work for them. They train them in various ways and then find them jobs elsewhere. They offer Truth coffee (best) and have divine chocolate brownies.
Coffee was good but food and service were terrible. They have switched to using all paper cups because of the drought but then charge you extra for the paper cup. They must not know that more water is used to create paper cups than to wash a real one.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Cape Town - excellent (self roasted) coffee, breakfasts and lunches. Theyve also been known to do coffee and food pairings, worth a visit if they have an event on 👍💥👍
Love this spot, amazing and friendly service. Super chilled location and damn fine coffee! My default go to coffee joint!
Good house blend but expected more variety on the coffee options especially since I considered Tribe as a speciality outlet. Was disappointed to have a dog in an eating outlet. Otherwise good vibe and enjoyed the chocolate breadstick
I think its necessary to put this here, especially for the owner of this establishment. We are regulars, but never been here over lunch. The food is pretty good and the place has a good vibe. (dont like the hot lettuce). Anyway, upon arrival we were not greeted by anyone in specific. (it is such a small thing, but makes a huge difference). A very nice guy quickly sorted out some power for my laptop. I noticed the regular waitress behind the main counter, who greeted me. She seems to be around all the time and served us before. Shes very pleasant but lack a bit confidence. We ordered coffee at the main counter as nobody came to our table. This time a guy brought our coffee. He didnt introduce himself, so I was still unsure who our waiter was. I later learned he was the floor manager and seemed very pleasant. My husband then later got up to find a waiter to order some food. This time the waitress came to take our order. (very confusing). Then a different guy came to our table with my husbands food. He muttered something and left. I waited for about 2 minutes and my husband started eating. After about 5 minutes I got up to asked the guy behind the counter about my food? He pointed me to the kitchen. I saw the waitress chatting to the kitchen ladies, pointing out that some orders were not done. I left as no one seemed interested in explaining what was going on. I sat down at the table which was now about 10 minutes later. Another guy came to fetch my husbands plate and asked if everything was ok. At this point I lost my patience. I explained to him that Im still waiting for my food. He just looked confused and walked off. Then the manager came back to the table with two slips in his hand explaining about a receipt for the kitchen went missing etc. I felt quite sorry for the poor guy as he was totally embarrassed by the incident. I explained that I had to leave and he suggested to give us the meal for free. I didnt really expected that but had to mention to him, that he definitely needs to discuss the issue with his manager who was not available (had an accident of some sorts) I also said that I accepted his apology but explained this kind of thing its not really acceptable. Coming back to training - You simply cant have different waiters calling on a table. They wont know what is going on if something goes wrong. So if the lady who took our order, collected our food from the kitchen, she would have noticed a missing plate. You always check your order with the kitchen before taking it out to your table. Last but not least - get proper systems in place for your kitchen. Order receipts should go in one place and is not to be taken away until the full order has left. Perhaps everyone can learn from this. Empower your staff with proper ongoing training. Knowledge is power and power makes people confident. I dont expect a reply on this review, but would like to go back and have a different and pleasant experience. Regards Carin
Some of the best coffee Ive ordered, polite staff and free wifi. I havent tried their food but their brownies were really good.
The coffee was good but they were out of quite a few items on the menu and the staff arent the most diligent ever. Also only serving sweet potato chips is very limiting
A nice and calm place for a good cup of coffee. Knowledgable and friendly staff, nice atmosphere and a few minutes (or a lot more) of respite from the heat and hustle of hustle of Woodstock.
Exceptional coffee and service. Great vibe. Dog friendly. Free parking. Free WiFi
Marvelous coffee, talented baristas and super friendly management. Excellent to sit, have a chat or work while enjoying good coffee and light meal. Its a winner
Very trendy coffee spot with a slightly hipster atmosphere. The coffee was excellent and the chicken hummus wrap was great too.
Best coffee Ive had ...... excellent staff .... All round good quality service!
Good coffee, great breakfast, vegan options. Dont ask for a reserve coffee unless youre keen to pay R45 for a cup of jo.
Great Coffee... limited food offering but still a good experience.
Excellent coffee and coffee shop experience. Warm, cosy, great getaway from the office for a bit of down time or a lunch time snack.

Chilled vibe. Good coffee. Coffeebags for R10
Quality joint run by a charming snow Mexican by the name of Jake. Fits into Woodstock like a hand in a glove.
Very nice coffee place with good service, that opens at 7:00. Would be 5 stars if it wasnt so noisy inside.
