Great view and atmosphere. Its more popular for breakfast but their lunch is also amazing.The egg Benedict is so smooth and silky and delicious. The pancakes and french toast were standard (they charged extra for the creme). The vegan carrot cake is very different but not in a bad way.The house green salad is one of the best salads Ive ever had. I ordered it with extra chicken and it was so filling and yummy.

What an amazing place!! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the view spectacular. We loved every moment of our time at the Surfshack. Would definitely be visiting again.

It has a beautiful view of the beach and sea. They put gas heaters next to the tables if it becomes cooler. The wooden furniture gives a very pleasant warm feeling. We had coffee which was great and cake which I think wasnt as fresh as I would have liked although it was still very enjoyable.

Cosy place overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable considering the upmarket location. Has wheelchair access. Parking could be a little difficult on busy days but its worth the view.

A quaint setting in the mall at Camps Bay.Fast and efficient service.My husband had a cheese omelette that he said was delicious, along with brown bread that looked home made & not standard shop bought bread as many places serve.I had eggs benedict on an English muffin. Unfortunately South African made English muffins do not live up to the standard of a proper English muffin as one gets in the UK. Local ones tend to be rather stodgy & not light and airy 🤔.If I went back for the same, I think Id ask for sourdough bread. A winner would be a low carb/gluten free option, but I must admit I didnt ask if that was available.I love crispy bacon but this bacon was a tad too crispy (charred).All that being said, overall a pleasant experience.

Waiters are not friendly, not very attentive, and not happy to be here. But they really want their tips…and they expect you to tip them 20%, if you don’t tip them they’ll not say bye or smile, despite the terrible service.I’ll not come back.

Great spot with a lovely view of Camps Bay. I had a really nice tomato salad with plenty of anchovies and a balanced flavor. I would give 5 stars but the bread (though with a nice flavor) wasn’t toasted very well, so it became soggy quite quickly. Would definitely recommend it; maybe ask for the bread to be extra toasted?

Great restaurant thats located on camps bay. The service is great with beautiful sea views that will surely take your breath away. The have a nice variety of cakes and teas, and the portions are reasonable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.

This was out last place to visit in CapeTown. Loved the location of the cafe. Its in the Camps Bay with a very beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean. You must not miss the cup cakes, relish it with hot cafe late. Perfect place for a sundowner.

A lovely evening spent with my partner and her family. The service was great, never too slow, and never too rushed - perfect for the relaxing backdrop of Camps Bay. My partner enjoyed a perfectly cooked Fillet Bearnaise, and I had a stunning Beef Burger. Although the covid alcohol ban restricted our ability to explore the drinks menu further, the alcohol free cocktails were divine. Top notch, see you soon.

TLDR: Excellent food and service, with a great view.Long version: the food was amazing. All well presented and delicious. The deserts also looked exceptional and tasted as good as they looked.The service was very friendly and efficient throughout. There was a minor issue in the kitchen which delayed our food, but the servers where honest about the issues and kind in their corrections of the issue.I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are in the area, it is well worth the stop for the food, with an added bonus of a beautiful view of the ocean.

My favorite cafe in camps bay they are serving very good coffee and drinks, tasty sweets. a bit expensive but it worth because of the view.

We had a family lunch here, only two tables occupied the whole restaurant. Unfortunately the music was just too loud and we couldn’t hear each other’s conversations, I ask the manager if she could turn the music down slightly and she said no, it can’t be done. We all had to sit through lunch with blearing music. I ask twice and twice she said no. Not the best way of trying to make us comfortable. Our first family lunch in months ended up being tarnished.

Fantastic location, right opposite the ocean. The food however, was disappointing I had the pancakes which was very dry and absolutely covered in a dry sugary substance dubbed honeycomb. They were also out of stock of many items that were requested by my table.

Had breakfast here this morning food came out , one order was forgotten and came late! when it arrived all 80% of all ingredient where excluded from the meal., and worst, the mushrooms came from a can! worse breakfast ever! La Belle! Belle mon Cul!!!!

Lovely food and views.... only issue is when asked for a vegan food option they fried it in butter.

La Belle Bistro and Bakery is super. I have been here a few times. The staff are great and the place clean and nice. The smoothies are super and the menu is small but well thought out. The sugar rush from the plank cakes with merengue is pretty heavy and the French toast is nice. It’s a super spot for a quick breakfast. Still using plastic though which is disappointing.

Very lovely bistro. Cannot book outside, but if you book inside they can move you when you arrive.Has a beautiful view of Camps bay beach, it is especially beautiful as the bistro is elevated meaning you can look down onto the beach across the street.The food was delicious, I recommend their burgers, I dont normally eat burgers and these were delicious! They have some delicious deserts and a cake display to look at. (They have cakes and deserts in the cake display) I recommend the caramel bar for a desert that isnt going to break your budget but also tastes great.Side notes they also have great bathrooms. They are very spacious and clean (and also play music)On the whole I definitely recommend a visit :)

This little restaurant had excellent service, beautiful views and some truly delicious French toast and smoothies! If you get regular toast maybe ask for it to be extra toasty as they seem to go on the lighter side with toasting!If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot in Camps Bay, look no further this should hit the spot!

Wonderful cafe. Great find.I am at the bar overlooking the beach. Server is very polite and helpful.I had the Char-Grilled Chicken with a side of fries.Nice presentation, seasoned and prepared perfectly.Items on menu are very reasonably priced especially for the quality.

Went a number of times during our stay in Camps bay for drinks. Particularly liked their mint milkshake. Not pressured although they are busy.

Late lunch with great variety on menu. Range of gluten free cakes. Everyone had a great time. Recommended.

This is one of the many restaurants in Camps Bay with a nicely decorated interior. The food is good, from what my friends and I could tell and from what we had. The only thing is at the time we went, their standard portion of fries is small for the price point in comparison to restaurants nearby or in the CBD. Their pastries & patisserie are very good as well, with even vegan options, everyone will be able to dine and have a great desert afterwards. The staff is very friendly and the front of house or manager often checks on everyone to ensure that all is going well. Would definitely recommend going, especially for a group of friends and families with older children.

This place was really great. Such a chill vibe with good food and drinks. This little spot is located across from the beach. I really did not have the chance to dine or eat breakfast because of the distance & full schedule but I did a small stop to grap every pasty they had as much as I could, the staff was amazing, supportive and smily in the end of the day. The pastry in general was good, nothing special stand-out to me. But I can know that they are made with good quality! Idk actually if you can return to this place twice :/

Had breakfast there with a friend. Although the menu was limited, the food was good, however on 3 occasions a waiter/waitress broke crockery. Good weather and view of Camps Bay made all the difference.

Great cake selection and excellent value for money. Although the service was ridiculously slow, probably because of shortstaffing (not sure if it was on that day only).
