No clean, needs renovations, doesnt smell fresh... Servixe is not up to scratch.. Needs new furniture... Atleast there is parking

Quirky and amazing, this place has character!We went for a friends party and had an excellent time, with drinks and bowling, even a good truck to boot!I didnt know what to expect going in but I was pleasantly surprised and had a fantastic experience.

Really great relaxed vibe. We were invited to a dinner hosted here by The Curry Club and the food and hospitality both made for an awesome evening.

With more then ample secure parking space, the German Club is a convenient location to get together with friends for beer,food and entertainment.It has its own bar and you can choose to sit inside or outside.There is a restaurant that will dish up familiar food such as Beef burgers with fries. They serve coffee as well as an assortment of teas.

Traditional gentlemans club. But not in the sexy way. Mostly older patronage looking to share a beer with some friends, talk about the home country and enjoy some traditional food.

Interesting place. Some of the staff are very helpful and some are well, grumpy. The place is very old school especially the food. That said, its probably one of the better German meals Ive had in Cape Town. Well done.

Worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Waiter repeatedly forgot about our food and then became very rude when questioned about why our food still hadnt arrived even though the rest of our table had already finished eating over 30 minutes ago. Waiter just kept telling us to wait and be patient. Owner of the restaurant was too busy playing cards with his friends to even realise or care about what was going on. Ours was not the only table that this happened to. Absolutely would not recommend. Food was average when it did finally arrive.

Badly organized. Soccer World Cup Germany - Mexico: Ran out of food before half time. Ran out of glasses, draft beer tastend stale. Large viewing hall badly needs paint and cleaning. Could be such a stunning venue, but today more run down and grotty compared to when I last visited 3 years ago. Missed a great opportunity to shine, make money and attract more regular customors.

We had a company event there to use their bowling alley and have food supplied. The alley has had zero maintenance for about 10 years and the balls are chipped and dangerous, do not go there for the bowling alley. The food was basically deep fried from the freezer and not great at all.

We wanted to see the Bayern game and thought the German club might just be the place to do so.The screen is nice and big but German beer was not available. The alternative that has been served was flat beer, which we returned.The food was okay but took to long .It was smoky and hot inside and to top it of they added one beer to many to our bill and wr were told (after we ate) that they accept cash only .I hope they just had a bad day, but I wont take people there again any time soon .
