Its always a lovely experience booking a room here whether its for work or just a needed time out but I also think they should consider spa treatments like facials, massages, manicures and pedicures would be a nice addition to the already thriving hotel.

This place, has some good food, used by many customers which is evident that they are doing better things and there is room for improvement at all times in all things.The hotel hosts all kinds of people. The area of the Hotel @ Tzaneen is surrounded by fuel stations, shopping centers, restaurants, churches all within a 2km radius. The town is a small town and the town is big on farming activities especially pine trees and gum trees. It is all a great scenery.

Poor service. If you are tired and want to relax then this is not for you. Rooms are not user-friendly. Toilet downstairs. Had to go ups and down all this time. Okay dinner bad👎. The staff worse. As for breakfast they served pap and chicken liver. Dnt think ill be using their services in future

Spacious rooms with balconies and a full kitchen included. As a business traveler this was right up my alley. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist. The breakfast was disappointing the first day but some efforts was made on day two. Thanks.

Very happy with the overall picture of the hotel. Awesome friendly staff. Bit pricey but worth every cent. Rooms are very clean and well kitted out.

I always go there. Been disappointed with the towels and the place needs a little refreshing in the rooms. Nevertheless always my spot.

The rooms were absolutely amazing. They were ensuite with a nice kitchenette. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My company always stays here we we are on assignment in Tzaneen and we love it.

It easy to find as its wel on the Main Street upon entering Tzaneen.Great restaurant on site with a children’s play area. Parking under shelter. Security on site and beautiful and quite.The rooms are massive, loft looking and offer a full kitchen for self-catering purposes. Free water on arrival and also got a huge mango and orange (in true Tzaneen style).Aircon, walking distance to shopping complex, clean and room service option available. This place is truly amazingThe only downside is that I didn’t see a lift (didn’t ask so not sure if it’s available for disabled people).

Currently at the hotel, I have been complaining about other guests who are disturbing through their loud music, it is like I am in a kasi tarven the noise is unbearable. I complained several times to management and they just ignored me. 🚮 I cannot and will not recommend this place for anyone who wants some peace and quiteness after a long day at work. 🥵🚮🚮.There are better alternatives around which you wont experience this tarven vibes.

1 Reception was incompetent. Hours after I booked in they phoned and asked if I am still coming. When I booked out the bill was faulty. After they revised the account I had to insist that I pay the balance outstanding. The bill was still not correct.2 There was no cold water in the bathroom washbasin.3 The restaurant staff were loud and disturbing outside our room.4 The shower drain was blocked.5 The TV was not tuned and we struggled to view.6 Parking was a problem. I could not get out my parking when we left.

Really close to town... perfect if you doing work in town and dont want to travel.The loft rooms are great.. You got the little kitchen, lounge and bed upstairs. Perfect for working people. Feels like you at home, just in another town.

In total, we were a group of 8, sharing 4 rooms and all of us were decently surprised by how clean the place is.If you are considering staying here, I can promise you that you will get your moneys worth! The service here is great, thats the first thing Ill mention. Its not a top class hotel, but considering the area, its as good as it gets. The only thing Id change is to have the option of a breakfast pack for takeaways. The hotel uses an on site restaurant to serve breakfast. Better be early cause they dont forget takeaways. The family and standard rooms are my favourite. Staffs very helpful. Love the fact that the rooms are self catering, so you get all the works to cook up a storm if thats your thing.

The staff at reception is not professional.I asked to speak to the manager or owner and they told me that hes in a meeting and they told me that they willget back to me they didntThey are not considerate,my stay wasnt pleasent

Its a good hotel with a nice conference centre. The rooms are comfortable and the Crawdaddys restaurant makes an excellent buffet breakfast. The only thing that lets the hotel down is some of the staff seem to need more training. At times they seem very confused with what to do and things get done very slowly. Ive stayed at this hotel for a couple of years now and my overall impression is that I would go back again as the pros outweigh the cons.

The hotel accommodation was lovely, clean and well equipped for self catering. Parking was inadequate; the Crawdaddys Restaurant was average for dinner (I ordered the Thai beef stir fry, which was too sweet, over cooked and unappetizing in appearance - I would not order again) and below average for breakfast (not enough cutlery) and the bar was quite noisy late on a Friday evening.

Hotel@Tzaneen is a great value for money. Cleanliness - 5/5. The rooms and bathroom were clean and bedding was clean. We stay in the family room catering for four people, 2 bedrooms(double and 2 single beds on the other room) , shared living room, kitchen and bathroom (bath and shower head) Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a good menu and the food was nice and the staff was helpful and friendly. Overall I had a great stay at Hotel @Tzaneen. Will come back again. The room had aircon and was perfectly cool in the scorching sun of Tzaneen.

I was allocated room 104 located close to the crawdaddys restaurant, there is a lot of noise around that room , there is a waiting area for the kitchen employees closer to the roomThey make noise until the restaurant closes and you cant sleepThe television audio is not audible and the channels are not working oryt

I like the quiet of the place even if it has accommodated a big group. Probably one of the biggest venue with beds to accommodate large groups, simple and practical amenities within a walking distance to the malls or convenience shops. Each time spent here is always fulfilling. The rooms with their kitchenette make it possible for those who want to stay longer to save and prepare own meals.

The only good thing about this place was Crawdaddys. Ok to be fair the rooms are decent but it was not mentioned or I missed it because it was not openly displayed but the adverts should mention that the lift rooms have the bed upstairs and the bathroom at the entrance of the room...it is a bit inconvenient and would have rather paid the extra for the standard room had I known. The staff cleaned and replenished toiletries pretty well so that was good. The ironing board was broken so used the bed instead. This also proved a small mission as the iron cord it really short. I didnt feel the need to ask for a new ironing board as it was pretty obvious that it needed to be replaced... unless the owners are only reactive? Oh and it took a good few tries to get our doors working properly and this involved walking up and down from the second floor to get it reprogrammed. Luckily on of the staff saw what was happening and made a concerted effort to get this fixed. Again...the owners need to pay more attention and get small issues fixed.

Really friendly staff, good restaurant, well appointed rooms, however sleep marred by government officials and political party members causing drunken disturbance until Kate into the night with no consideration to patrons. Management did handle the complaint very well.

Very very very BAD serious. it started when I wanted to make a reservation, I sent about 5 mails not respond and I called everyday begging them to respond to my e-mails, when u ask to speak to the manager or the owner they say hes in a meeting...very bad communication and bad customer service. I will never advice people to visit their place never

Looks more like a block of flats than a hotel. But it looks comfortable enough. I also just hated having to use stairs to go up to a mates room 🙄. Anyone say elevators? Its 2019 already.

The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. I stayed in the self-catering loft and was pleased with the setting, the kitchen was fully equipped and the bedroom was also perfect except for one incidence where it was a cold night and a blanket could not be provided on request, there is an air-conditioner though that helped. The staff is nice and friendly but reception seems to be a bit slow so expect to wait for some time when checking in and out.Totally loved Crawdaddys restaurant and bar, the food was great as well as the service. Overall this is a really great hotel to stay in, whether for a short stay or long term, I stayed there for 2 months and Id go there again if I visit Tzaneen.

Woooooooow! The best hotel in Tzaneen. Good for couples and families. Beautiful comfort in family suites.Right in Town near the complex. Walkable distance. My family had a great time. The food smells good and the setting is well organized. Its so divided that smokers have their own sitting.While waiting there is free WiFi.The only thing I dont like with them is their special cause it has restrictions. When you come being four,they dont allow you to share full chicken on special.Every one must buy his full chicken which cost R125

I booked for my pastor and the wedding crew for the 20th to relaxed for their big day on the 21st wedding day and I was disappointed I received a call from the reception they were taken from corner to post saying I didnt pay for their stay at the hotel. I told them I booked through bookingcom and paid through EFT on the 22nd October . The guys were kept waiting for a long time and this was embarrassing. So I would ask that they put their house in order.Linda

Horrible musty rooms. Terrible WiFi. Rude staff. No parking. The conference facilities are poor - small, cramped, dark, damp and depressing. The provided projectors on the ceiling are blurry and the lamps are dim. So your presentations won’t show up for your attendees to view.
