Nice place, friendly stuff but service is bad. I reported multiple issues and they were never attended to. I reported a leaking toilet and no one came to fix. Woke up the next morning and the bathroom was flooded.

I really loved the lodge. Everything was good. Staff was very friendly. The rooms are beautiful spacious and comfortable. The food🤩🤤

My dessert wasnt tops, I was given a hard not fresh malva pudding. I returned it but still the next 1 wasnt fresh either, yoh I was disappointed

We went to Tzaneen country lodge on the 26th July 2021 to require quotation .We were welcomed warmly by Mr Noel Maphophe who was so supportive and understanding. The level of Mr Maphophe’s professionalism and experience is really an asset to the lodge.May Mr Maphophe get recognition of the hard work he is doing.All the staff were so good to us. Mrs Ramoshaba welcomed us so warmly as well. She is kind and was willing to put a smile on our faces. Thank you so much .I loved the food and the way they keep time. We never waited for meals.We really appreciate all your efforts and going extra mile for us.Tzaneen country Lodge was a home away from home for us. I enjoyed my stay with my family. The staff are very friendly and were there to help us at every turn.I could have loved for there to be flexibility for stay in guests when it came to ordering food via the menu for lunch, rather than being restricted to buffets.

After a long day of driving this Lodge is just the place for one to kickback relax and take in the splendid countryside in Tzaneen. Quaint in decor but modern in service and amenities. Lush grounds, a beautiful chapel to confess ones sins....or as a wedding venue. Friendly staff, Tloki ( apologies if i got the spelling wrong Tloki!!!) at reception was so welcoming i felt like i came home after a long trip!Issac was also very attentive and prompt with room service. Hearty breakfast the next morning kept us well fed for another days travel.

We had no hot water... Room was a bit dirty (bed had sand in? File with rules/info was sticky and had what looked like food on) hardly any toilet paper like 2sheets it was almost empty, no bottle water or glasses, just a cup for coffee. I would give it two/three stars but the food at the restaurant really made up for it! The misquotos almost killed me, without even asking the waiter noticed and gave me insect repellent. Wow. Breakfast was also great. Nice view, friendly staff.

Nice chilled spot. Our room was a bit close to the restaurant, which was annoying with the noise. Some of the guests are really inconsiderate and play loud music. Loved the swimming pool. Breakfast was also good. Would have loved a braai area, with a proper fridge in the room.

The room was stuffy, smelly (especially at the entrance, there was a damp smell), kitchen with a heap of not properly cleaned dishes on top of a sink and dirty shower. During this pandemic, I doubt if this room was fumigated for COVID-19. Breakfast was not nice and whatever they have as a juice is horrible.

I lastly visited the place on the 18th November 2020. The lodge looks nice, neat and clean and follows covid 19 rules. This is a perfect destination outside Tzaneen Town ideal for individuals and groups. The lodge has a large conference facility ideal for various types of events and weddings. Places to vicit in the vicinity include Modjadji Royal kraal, old Packhouse Distillery, Modjadji cycad reserve, Agatha crocodile ranch, Makgoebaskloof adventures, blueberry farm, cheese farm, Cheerio Gardens, to menaion but a few. Tzaneen Country Lodge lies along the road leading to the famous Kruger National Park. Explore and enjoy your stay

They hosted our Community engagement workshop of 90 delegates with the highest standard. They did very well in ensuring we have the greenest event possible.The rooms and food were lovely too and very relaxing. Staff is the main reason for the 4 stars. They went beyond expectation to make sure our delegates were comfortable

I stayed on 23/08/2020,. The supper was terrible. Tables not attended to immediately after guests had left.We had to ask the waiter to clean the table. Food was dry and stale. It looked like theyd served left over food from lunch. Rooms were not so clean.I dont see myself staying at that Lodge again.

A very nice lodge right in the country as the name suggests. Lots of space around to unplug from the hustle and bustle, with nice gardens and pool area to relax. The rooms are adequately spacious. The showering experience in my room could be improved a bit but overall a pleasant stay. The restaurant on-site also has good menus and good service

A very nice clean place and very beautiful. Very classy with friendly staff. It is located on the R71 Tzaneen to Phalaborwa route making it easy to find. They have a conference room and an outdoor setting for parties, weddings and any functions. The good is not that great but its edible with excellent waiters/waitresses. There is a filling station right next to the lodge.

Stunning surroundings, three beautiful pools, nice kids area with currio shop. Well prices!!

Really lovely and spacious rooms, quiet and well kept. Gorgeous full breakfast, choice of meals and quality definitely scrummy!!! Well worth it for some peace, quiet and comfort. Very centrally located, Tzaneen only about 7km away. Worth another visit

I visited Tzaneen Country Lodge on several occasions, on personal basis, for church activities and for work related.The service is outstanding, very excellent and the hospitality is so satisfying. I recommend it to anyone who has any kind of event from a meeting, leisure, baby shower, church event, trainings, weddings and etc.In 07 days from now Im planning to have my 20 years Marriage Anniversary there. Is a destination of choice.

Spent a wonderful 3 nights there. The staff were friendly and the environment was beautiful. Highly recomend a stop over if youre passing through the area.

Tzaneen is a beautiful place, filled with lots of greenery. It is perfect to take a road trip there, youll love it.

Had a great stay at TCL. Their breakfast is delicious however the chef needs to ease up on making the bacon so hard. The rooms are exceptionally kept and it has a general comfortable feel to it. Id definitely recommend them and wouldnt mind staying there again.The gentleman at their reception did however prevent us from having breakfast on our first morning there as he was confused about whether the rates to the place include breakfast or not. This was no only very unprofessional but caused a huge inconvenience to us.

We stayed at Tzaneen for two nights in winter. In general nice place to stay, however some items could be improved:- no heaters were available at the reception- restaurant was cold as well- there are several guided walks available at the reception. However, once we left the reception we were practically lost...

Was not comfortable with two single bed worn out matras was with my woman ,need Morris channeled for sport

Tzaneen Country Lodge is one the of greatest place of leisure where you can go for conferences, weddings, children parties, spa, animal farm and wild gaming. The reception is highly professional also its management. It has a tight security to make sure their clients and guests are safe.The food is so elegant and its magnificent rooms there is no other place you can be than at Tzaneen Country Lodge.

A bit dated needs an upgrade

Rooms were beautifully furnished, clean, air-conditioned, tea and coffee supplied, a small fridge with free bottled water. Enjoyed a wonderful Christmas buffet. Absolutely delicious and the tables were beautifully set. A memorable occasion.

Has lost its lustre. Housekeeping leaves much to be desired - no cleaning under the bed for ages. Had to pick something up and with the amount of dirt, dust and sweet wrappers ended up throwing it away.

Room no 09 had some terrible smell. Otherwise the lodge is superior. The food is of high quality. However, you need to consider persons with special dietary needs.

Its no longer the same place it used to be. So limited on WiFi use and they have terrible breakfast. No fridge in the rooms only selected rooms have fridge. I was not happy at all

This has been our home away from home for the past 8 years but am very disappointed about my stay. We checked in last night and the room did not look prepared for patrons. The floors were dirt bedroom and bathrooms, paint marks on the floor, bed made but crumpled and bathroom and glasses below standard. We could not swop the rooms as they were fully booked. In a nutshell h th is is not a Tzaneen Country Lodge journey I am accustomed to. We were in Room 1.
