Went for some wine tasting. Great prices for the 3 and 5 wine tasting selections. Beautiful setting, friendly staff and very knowledgeable about the wines. Had pizzas with my girls and it was fabulous thin crusts all round.The bar area is to die for.

We visited Asara to show an overseas visitor the stunning views. We had a very good cappacino with a nice biscuit, while overlooking a stunning mountain view. They have an extended wine list and menu and we shall definitely visit again to taste their food. The service was excellent.

THE most stunning setting, exceptional wines and had a great tasting with Siphokaze. Highly recommend Asara.Oh, and their gin collection is phenomenal 👌

Calm and classy without having the sacrifice your budget for a good meal. They have a great selection of wine. I go there at least 4 times a year.

The Asara Wine Estate was totally unknow to us before our visit. Someone suggested we visit the farm to taste the white Cab Sav which they produce. OMW, we came across the most beautiful place. Although the tasting room was closed, the restaurant was open and we decided to eat something and order the Cab Sav to taste it. The restaurant is spectacular to say the least. With different seating areas to choose from and the most luxurious furnishings and finishes, it is a must see. We ordered a low carb pizza and enjoyed a few glasses of wine from the estate. The pizza was delicious, the crust is the best Ive ever tasted, and the wines were lovely pairings. Our host Thierry and waitron Sheperd contributed to this amazing experience with their friendliness and warm and welcoming attitude. This establishment also includes different accommodation options. I can only begin to imagine what a super luxurious experience it must be to stay on the farm. The attention to detail in the restaurant, and even the restrooms, is mind blowing. If ever I had to choose a venue for a special occasion I would definitely choose Asara. Thank you for the experience, this will not be forgotten✨

Excellent experience all round. Its a beautiful wine farm with gorgeous views. The interior is class and screams of elegance. The food was just amazing, I was blown away so Im definitely going to come back. I loved it!

Incredible views from this place, I am sure the first thing you will do is take a photo here. It helps you unwind while having some very tasty food. Its a bit pricy though, and I could suggest that the service be faster... Come for a chilled up lunch, a date or more. I would also suggest that you try book first...

Did the mtb trials only used the toilet facilities and was very clean and staff was friendly. Mtb trails was good but very steep. The cost was R70

The Sansibar Bistro at Asara Wine Estate lived up to my expectations. The reception was top notch, the seats were comfortable, the chef delivered excellent sirloin steaks and the panoramic views in the background made it an unforgettable occasion. Look no further, if you are looking for a well renowned Wine Estate to have lunch. Make sure that it is a sunny day!

What an amazing wine estate! We had lunch on the veranda with a magnificent view and were treated to lunch, new on their menu, LowCarb pizza and burgers!We had a lamb, feta and fresh greens burger and then a spicy chicken pizza! Wow delicious!Will definitely be back.They also have a 5star hotel which I have yet to stay but looks amazing!

The service was amazing. The lady who assisted with wine tasting was great, she new her wines and educated us well on the different wine selections. Breakfast was great as well just abit pricey

Beautiful place for a glass of wine looking over the StellenBosch Valley.Celebrated my birthday here last week as a surprise from my wife, but turned out to be a bit of a mess leaving her feeling very embarrassed.Booked days ahead and they even called to confirm her booking, when we arrived at security that evening, nothing. Even though we were told to then go as there was still space it ruined the surprise. She had asked to make it special with a bottle of my favourite wine on the table etc, so that was now down the drain.Ordered the grilled calamari to snack on with our wine, was dry and far to salty.Mains was nice, but as the waiter came to check on us, my wife saw a green fly busy doing laps in her half full glass of wine. He cleared the table and thats the last we saw of her wine, didnt even offer to at least replace with a few sips again.Would we go again.... Maybe. Will I get my birthday back again... No

The place is beautiful, but the service was terrible. Went there mid-day for lunch and there was only 2 tables but the waiters could not be bothered. From coffee arriving with no condiments, received the sugar when we were halfway through our coffees already. The food was dry and not seasoned well, flavoring was a big fail for me. That was a big let down, wouldnt recommend it for anyone who loves good food like me.

Food is great, scenery amazing. 1 BIG problem - flies everywhere will definitely disturb your stay unless youre not eating. Citronella candles may help a great load. Hope youll try

Bad experience. Me and 2 nieces ordered drinks and I ordered a pizza. When the other 2 did not order anything to eat , we were told to sit outside the restaurant under the trees. It was embarrassing. We feel that nobody should be treated like that. I would not recommend any of my friends or family to Asara
