Loved the ambience. I love the sitting arrangement and the overall environment. There was even a live performance entertainment. The food was really nice, loved the presentation of the plates/food. Will definitely visit again.

Dinner in the sky is not well maintained. The table is rusty and needs painting. The entrance decor(red carpet and stands) are old and have an off colour. I would rate the food 3/10 because wow it was not good.In terms of the experience of being in the sky that was awesome.This place just needs to renovate honestly. I was very disappointed.

The experience was so enjoyable that I even forgot that I was over 100 feet in the air. The main 🍽️ was on point 👌🏿 , the dessert 🍮 was so good that I wish I could have more.Thanks to Thuli 👸🏿 for being an awesome host and making it a memorable experience with all the mentions not forgetting Alex 🤴🏼 on the drinks

Best Paella I have ever had

A restaurant inside St.Stithians with great view and relaxed atmosphere. Relatively wide menu selection but a bit pricy vs the quality standard (each dishes were quite salty..otherwise taste fine) Staff was very friendly and took good care the customers.

This is such a great location and a perfect central point to meet friends. We had a delicious pasta lunch. Very pleasant waiter excellent service. Our only concern due to the location, was the gale force wind blowing through, we tried moving but every door was open.

4 out of 6 people got sick from chicken they served😵To pay 725 per person to get sick no man....The view from table was awesome though.

We just had coffees, late afternoon. It was a bit of a noisy crowd but still really enjoyed ourselves and would have stayed longer if we had more time to do so. Friendly staff. Open, airy.

Place has to die for views. Enjoyed the meals, the atmosphere, the drinks and our waiter Thandie was superb 👍. I had a Salmon and it was very nice. Place is compliant with Covid Regulations. I definitely recommend 🙂

A hidden gem, definitely not only for the school parents. Food was really good, with a varied menu that offers something for everyone. Service was great and a fantastic view. Theres also a bar area if you just want a few drinks.

Brilliant Saturday afteroon; live music, great vibe and some delicious chow. The paella was yum. The pork belly is also a firm favourite. Great looking burgers too.

Good restaurant. Service was great and meal was delicious. I had the cordon bleu which I recommend! Was divine, mash was creamy and tasty! And chicken was tender but crunchy. The rest of our table enjoyed their meal as well!

I must have experience😍I highly recommend dinner in the sky. The food was amazing and the drinks were flowing, couldnt have asked for a better experience while dining in the sky. Although they give out blankets, its advisable to gear up warmly.

Always wanted to do skydining... opportunity came when it was my hubbys birthday... It was a pretty average experience. Wouldnt do it againFood was cold....it was the 4pm slot... no effort for our vegan dessert..despite mentioning this a few times...Would rather spend that cash on a good nights accommodation somewhere... Just my 2c

As an alumni, I am biased and get warmly welcomed by Mark and his team ...The friendliness and efficiency is as incredible as the easterly view of the iconic Sandton business skyline.My meals have always pleased me and are fairly priced, all things considered.I love going back ... it seems its my place where everybody is my friend. (Borrowed from the Friends tv show with a young Ted Danson and Kirsty Ally).You will visit more than once ...

The view is exceptional at night by Johannesburg standards. The food is better than the run of the mill restaurants in Johannesburg. But the big BUT is that the place at night (Saturday) is a total shambles. There are often events taking place in a section of the restaurant which generates far too much noise from speeches and clapping etc. A door to the bar area would also help isolate the three noise from there into the restaurant proper section.Waiters are pleasant, but food orders take long time to place and then we had an hour wait for it to be served to us.This is not the place to go on a Saturday night for a convivial dinner with friends. HOWEVER, do go there for lunch during the week, when it is fast less frenetic and enjoy the great food and the superb view over Johannesburg to the south east.

The food was terrible for the price.The cheesecake dessert was substandard.The fact that we were 60m in the sky was the only thing that made it tolerable.There was no ambiance.The crockery was boarding school standard.They need to up their game.Not worth the money. OVERALL experience very sad.

Higher Ground is such a gem hidden from the mainstream. Stunning atmosphere to have a family lunch or a business get together. My favorite is a cold beer and cheese burger and chips.

Fantastic meal, awesome service

Good morning, our visit to the higher ground restaurant was a life time experience to talk about indeed, very interesting to share with friends and relatives, however COVID-19 regulations were not all observed as expected, only sanitizer was used, no Social distancing in the seating arrangement of the higher ground restaurants, no temperature taken even no monitoring to ensure that people put on their masks before and after eating, please attend to that as we plan to come back as a group on Mothers day but our health comes first as well, Good luck. Your staff is professional and friendly too.

We went for the dinner in the sky event. We went for lunch though. It was actually quite enjoyable even though it was freezing and the wind was blowing the whole time.Staff was quite friendly and the food was really good.The only thing that bugged me was the professionalism. Half way through lunch we were lowered down to pick someone up because they were late. We are paying a lot of money to enjoy an experience and they do ask you to be at the venue 45 min before hand so someone that came almost 40 min after the launch time really shouldnt be catered for in my opinion.Afterwards we went and got hot chocolate at the restaurant which was also very delicious.
