Definitely an experience going from ground to the 42nd floor then from the 42nd floor to the 57th floor. 360 views of Jozi, stunning, stunning, stunning. The manager was a bit rude and condescending, frankly he was a poepol. However, our waiter was AMAZING, friendly and polite! Food is tapas, so be prepared to pay for sampling food but so delicious. I suggest go with a full tummy, just enjoy the view and your drink of choice. Is it worth the R300 entrance fee, NO. Will I go back, not likely.

Amazing experience, pity the weather was not up to scratch. Think with beautiful weather would be an awesome experience. Hope to go back when the weather is at its best. Service is excellent and staff are very hospitable.

This place is wildly overpriced. The service wasnt good and the tapas were even worse. The nuts tasted burnt and the chips were old and stale. The drinks werent any better considering the price.They are relying too much on the view and not delivering with anything else.

Great set up, m terrified of height but feel at total ease at rooftop, hats off to artitects n management team on the effort.The service level is a true 5 star, starting with security all the way to rooftop.A definite place to go relaxing for those can afford n knows what they want in life

Overpriced rubbish. I hate to sound so harsh but honestly thats what it was. We paid R300 per person just to go up (R1200 for a group of 4) and then the cocktails are WILDLY over priced. Im talking R135 for something that tasted like soda water with a splash of lemon. The tapas are even worse. You pay R70 for a sliver of duck. R35 for about a tablespoon of cashews that were supposed to have truffle oil on them but didnt. R70 for a handful of waygu biltong that was nothing to write home about. The vibe up there was boring. Yes, the view is pretty but honestly there are plenty of other places you can go for a good view. Definitely wont go back, complete waste of money.

Utterly disappointing. First of all, this place has an entrance fee of R300 per person which is misguided as a booking fee that will go towards your meal but it does not. The cocktails and tapas are EXTREMELY overpriced. Waiters are very arrogant and the views are nothing to sing and dance over. If you are looking for a “sight seeing” experience, then this may be uo your alley, if you are looking for drinks, good food and a nice time, don’t bother coming here.

I went to view the Alto234 for a possible dinner event. The manager who showed us around was arrogant. We asked if we could purchase a coffee and buy tapas to sample the food and were refused. They act like they are doing you a favor. Oh well, I wish them good luck.
