Stunning decor, music and delicious food... the food is on the upper end cos it is an upmarket establishment, but worth every cent!The bar is fully stocked with top class drinks so perfect for sundowners on a sunday or vibes on a saturday.Dress to impress...its just that kinda place.

Rockets is one of those vibey restaurants where you just feel the need to dress up and have amaazing food; sexy cocktails but be aware that it is forever packed at night especially from Thursday.If you are looking for a trendy JHB Cool-kid Spot that would be where you would most probably bump into a couple of your favourite influencers.

Our waiter was an absolute CHAMP!Came from tigers milk just before lock down looking for a hot chocolate and chat and he was willing to go the extra mile just before closing to put a huge smile on his face and accommodate us within restrictions letting us know the bar would be closed soon recommending that we ordered soon politely taking all social ques and providing GREAT service without interrupting our evening. The place is beautiful but the service is very very poor. Definitely would not go back there. Rockets Manlyne is absolutely the best, service is impeccable from the moment you come into the door until the very last moment, your whole staff could really learn a thing or two from them!

What a gorgeous little gem at Hobart Centre the venue doesn’t look like much from the outside but as you walk in the front door you taken into a fantasy garden/restaurant world filled with little books and crannies that have the most gorgeous pieces of decor! There are three levels to the restaurant with a beautiful upstairs area with a hanging garden and domed roof that opens at any time allowing in gorgeous sunlight for cocktails and star light at night! Worth a visit, coffee was delicious, will definitely go back and review the menu!

Good food, Great experience and Awesome Vibes, been to Rockets twice in the festive season and I enjoyed every moment. I got to understand why people I know always fussed about it and always want to go hang out at Rockets. The place is spacious the low ground being the restaurant part of establishment and the upper level is the club area. The service is excellent goes well with the ambience, the there are two bar areas and an outdoor patio area, the bathrooms are clean, and the décor is stylish and fabulous. I am going back again and again because wow I enjoyed the experience I had there.

Really superb! The staff were so accommodating of our every request, and were exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic. Our food arrived really quickly even though the restaurant was clearly very busy. The flavours and colours of our meal were delightful and there is brilliant attention paid to detail around the preparation of the warm beverages and heavenly desserts. In terms of atmosphere, setting and decor, we were more than taken away: really energetic vibe to put you in a truly feel-good mood and we enjoyed our table in the lovely balcony area that certainly makes you feel like youre away from the city.Highly recommended for the variety of cuisine and an overall refreshing experience!

The nachos!!!!! 🤩 The food was amazing. Resistant is discos and is great for friend groups, celebrations and date nights. After 10, the bar opens upstairs and you can hang out. I suggest you book to ensure you get good seating.If you are in the area a definite must.Pricing is reasonable, average (not for on a budget). Service was great. Place is clean. Didnt ask about WiFi cos you wont need it :) just enjoy yourself

The food was the best, the crumbed lamb balls were fabulous, the ribs fell off the bone and they tasted fantastic. Bathrooms were spotless, service was super quick and the environment was overall a wonderful experience. Then the bill came, we were overcharged for drinks and that was the downside of the whole experience we left immediately after that. I would suggest you check and keep track of your drinks because you might be overcharged if you arent aware.

Great food and vibe

We had a suprise birthday dinner for my cousin there. It was amazing. I had never been to a place like that. The ambiance was beautiful, all sparkly (I dont know how to describe it) and dim lit. I loved it! We had picked a set menu with three options for each meal (3 course meal) a couple of weeks back, it was R325 a person. The wait staff were very efficient and the tag teamed us (there was so many of us, over 20) so everything went smoothly. After the dinner we went upstairs for some dancing, and boy did we dance! Overall, it was a memorable experience.

Had loads of fun. Sir Trill, was performing.

Was extremely noisy, but I guess it can be expected at this time of year. Waiters were really busy and we had to request attention, but once again time of year. Good service otherwise, friendly staff. The burger was good I had some nacho thing. Could have been. A. Bit hotter but ya. I assume their other food is good. They gave us this nibble of a red velvet cupcake. That was divine. I needed more.

Unfortunately there was a heavy thunderstorm just after we arrived which took the Sandton skyline away but a good experience nonetheless. Venue is great, vibe is good. Weekends are a blast and the party is lit. The staff need to ensure their quieter week nights get the focus on consumers and service that represents the venue. Looking for help and getting greasy glasses is not too great.

We had our friends bridal shower here and the treatment was amazing, we had a really lovely experience. The food and drinks were perfectly well done, and our waitress was amazingly helpful.This is a good place to be with friends and family, the vibe is perfect especially when you celebrating.

For a night out to a place with a vibe and people all around. Live dj, cocktails, wine and everything else thats nice. There is a restaurant if u want to sit and eat, but from the bar side, they also serve platters and nobles. Never disappoints

Amazing vibe! Great for a lunch with family or friends. Great location. The service is unmatched. Ask for Themba, he’s an efficient and attentive. The cocktails are good too. Order one called ‘Oscar Winner’. It’s off the menu and soooo yum.The upstairs part has a bar/club vibe in the evening. Those that enjoy 90s hip hop and R&B, perfect spot for a Saturday evening.

Friends and I often go here for a glass of wine or lunch. The menu is well-priced and they have a little something for everybody. From tapas to pizza to delicious desserts.It can be packed during the evening and on weekends - would recommend making a reservation as you sometimes have to wait for a table or sit at the bar.Definitely worth a visit!
