I used to think this was the epitome of a man cave, but after today, I will think twice before buying from them again. I bought two guns from them where their prices were reasonable, but be warned, should you then buy your ammo from them as well, you must expect to be screwed over. After I bought the ammo, I stopped at VLT and they were R80 cheaper on one pack 9mm ammo and Pta Arms and Ammo was R230 cheaper on the same item.I hope you took a picture, as I will not be caught again!! Once bitten, twice shy!

Different delicious food offerings in this centre. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Atterbury Theatre is also in this centre. One can cross over the bridge to a small shopping centre with lots of commercial take-away offers.

I absolutely love Safari Outdoor! Whatever you are looking for - you will find here - and the service is outstanding. The only problem is that it is horribly expensive. On just one item for instance - 20 rounds of ammunition for 243 rifle, there is a R400 difference! Thats right FOR TWENTY ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION, A R400 DIFFERENCE IN PRICE! That is not just unacceptable - its highway robbery. REALLY GUYS?! Love the shop - but thats not on...!!!

Awesome place for everything outdoor. They sell everything, from camping equipment to clothing and leather products like handbags and wallets. They also sell guns, ammunition, knives and binoculars. You can do your application for firearms also through them. They provide friendly and welcoming service.

Brisk business, long queues at pay points which were handled with efficiency by helpful and knowledgeable staff.This store is packed with an interesting and wide variety of anything a hunter would hope to aquire, anything from ammunition to leather hats.It was a most facinating experience to shop for two birthday gifts for our outdoor-loving family member.Congratulations to the owner and management of the store. Website prices not the same as store prices. This has happened to me more than once. Drive all the way for the special just to find out the price on the website is incorrect. The excuse is always the website is not always up to date. Unacceptable for such an established retail store.

Do not let the beautiful shop fool you. Aftersales service is horrible at Safari Outdoor, I received the worst ever experienced after purchasing firearms from them. They are simply unreasonable when it comes to returns (even when a firearm has never left their safe or been used) and their “admin” fees are the lamest excuse to not refund a customer for THOUSANDS of rands.I won’t be buying from them again and I would warn anyone who wants to buy a firearm from them to seriously reconsider.I will only be supporting their competition from now on.

Poor service and very disappointed. Refund should have been done two weeks ago. Phoned them today and now they dont know anything about it. ( Did a six pay on a scope,they phoned me a week after and said they made a mistake and they cant do a six pay on a scope. They will refund me the money. Now a month later and still nothing. I hope nobody else will experience this. After service is non existent. If you phone them they transfer you to 10 different people and nobody can help you. I went to the shop and spoke to the manager and he assured me payment will be made,now two weeks later and still nothing.

If you look past all the trophys against the wall and all the expensive dark wood you will find staff that is most incompetent and dishonest. Go see for yourself.

Staff does not wear masks. Every time they asked me if I needed help, which I did, I just told them yes Im fine so that I can keep distance with them not wearing masks. My dads friend is fighting for his life in ICU because of the virus and it is real. But seems like Safari and outdoor staff has immunity. Very selfish not to adhere to the rules.

Disappointed to say the least , i normally shop here with good service but not this time round. I phoned 3 times and each time i was told that the guys in the ammo department were busy but if i leave my details they would call me right back. That never happened! Needless to say i went on to Dave Sheer guns in Montana and spent close on R8000 worth on the ammo i required - and the service was top draw ! Sorry Safari and Outdoor , i own my own business and understand what it takes to survive in times like this , clearly its going too well by you. Wont be back !

I bought a new MT18 Ledlenser today only to find out that the box was opened and the torch used. Components are missing. (I was under the impression that the product was new and not a floor or used model) called before their closing time to inform them, only to be met with an answering machine. I would like some assistance please.
