Breakfast was not so tasty, had better breakfasts than this one. Chicken was medium cooked instead of very well done. Definitely not having any food here anymore. Will just stick to having drinks only

We ordered sparkling wine, when we requested strawberries we were told to give the waiter money so that he can buy them at Woolworths next door. I ordered a medium burger, got a well done, I was starving and had to wait for the correct burger order to be made. I am totally disappointed with the service and restaurant. I spent 3.5 hours at the place and had to refill my own glass. Its sad really. I tipped the waiter accordingly as I really didnt hold him responsible for the restaurant issues and he advised we call him and advise him should we ever return.

The waiter and waitress are super friendly and very helpful, Love the decor of the place very classy but chic and modern stylish with an indoors and outdoors vibes and a smoking area. Not crazy about the food didn’t enjoy my seafood pasta meal it was blind and unseasoned the food could do better this was my 3rd time there and the food doesn’t always meet up to the high standard they portray. The prices are reasonable and affordable. The vibe is awesome both during the day and night, however it gets really packed most times and the service gets slow. One female restroom is not enough for a place that gets really packed.

Quite a nice atmosphere. Very cool aesthetic. Food is really nice too, but be it is a little bit on the pricier side. They have a very large variety of food, and I would recommend any of their prawn dishes.

Very well designed restaurant and a very good menu aswell. The food is of the highest quality with a very wide variety of meals. I highly recommend the steaks from here as Ive eaten it numerous times with no complaints. The place is very vibrant and it a at its best on Fridayand Saturday evenings. I recently tried the desserts and its was unbelievably good!!! Would easily recommend this place and will definitely return.

A way to disappoint a customerArrived on time for the booking. At 14.01.Waited 14.16 for a waiter. Decided to call the establishments office number at 14.17 to request for a menu.Only to be given a menu at 14.20.The waiter who attended to me told me ghat his shift is about to change so he was coming to drop off the menu.I then asked whats the point of him helping me if the shift is about to change?Requested to be helped by my actual waiter wholl be attending to me in the next shift.This service is truly unexpected. Being a fan of both the V&A and waterfall branches...this was dismal.The waiter finally arrived at 14.26...only in passing. Asking me if Id been helped. Wow.

I was great, although it has changed a lot. But it was good. Service was good. The food was also great. Enjoyed my cocktail. Had a watermelon cocktail. Different. Loved it❤❤❤❤

Good location for small groups. We had some booking challanges and orders. Nevertheless food was very well presented and tasty so more stars for the kitchen!

Visited on recommendation. Big disappointment. Ordered well done sirloin with biltong and brie stuffing. Brought me half done steak. Sent it back, they brought it back few minutes later after putting it back on the grill without the stuffing. Sent it back again, came back with a smidget of stuffing. Friendly waitress though and nice atmosphere but definitely not worth revisiting.

Great ambiance, a nice place to have your meetings by day and after work drinks in the late afternoon.Food is amazing, truly enjoyed the breakfast.

Atmosphere great as usual just unfortunately the food was tasteless. I’m not sure if they have a new chef or something but after all the money spent it was disappointing.

One of my favourite places to catch a bite and a glass of vino. The food is delicious, slightly pricey, but not terribly expensive. My favourite dish is the Al Fume Pasta (10/10 recommend if you like a heart meal). The wine list has good options across the different grapes. The cocktails are also great.The service can sometimes fall short, especially when they are busy, which they often are- especially on weekends. The evening are very vibe with house beats and groups laughing and engaging in fun and fabulous conversations everywhere.Life Grand Cafe is definitely very trendy and ambient. There is something for everyone! A lovely place to go for lunch a social adults playground towards the evening.

The GoJi Youth Elixir drink is rather sweet (probably all that pomegranate juice) and goes down well with the Brioche French Toast & mascarpone berry breakfast.

Terrible experience. Our reservation was not noted. Our waiters service was terrible, unfriendly, inefficient. He left us for ages without taking the orders. My friends tonic spilled when she opened the can, as if it had been shaken. The waiter claimed that the suger free tonic usually does that and refused to cancel the second gin shot she had ordered, despite not having brought it to the table yet. We were celebrating a birthday and took a birthday cake. The waiter left the cake in the sun on the table for a while after I requested him to keep it in a cool place. When he was asked to bring out the cake I expected it would be opened and brought out like done in all other restaurants. He just brought the cake back in the box, as I had given it to him, no knife, side plates. 3 poke bowls were ordered. The extra sides for the poke bowls were just placed on 1 plate and brought to the table. 1 extra side was chicken and was mixed with the sides ordered by a pescatarian. The edamame was omitted from all the poke bowls. When it was requested we were given a small portion in 1 bowl, that hardly seemed like enough for 3 poke bowls. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. It has a very nice vibe, quite busy and the service ok. The food was amazing. Drinks were great, they a have nice range of cocktails. Slightly disappointed with the watermelon daiquiri which tasted a bit watered down. I would recommend you try their mojitos.
