We Love Muse!The i4x4.io team highly recommend Muse not only for the amazing atmosphere, food, and vibe, but also for the friendliness of all the people who work at making ones stay absolutely first-class!We have been visiting Muse for quite some time now. The owners have constantly kept on improving the locality, which can now easily be called one of Knysna’s “go to” restaurants. Be sure to call and reserve as Muse is very popular with the locals and tourists alike!

Most definitely the best pizza in Knysna I’ve had so far. Didn’t know you get gin on tap but happy I tried it and will have it again 🍹🍕

Muse has a great vibe and some amazing and friendly staff. Has a pool table which is a bonus.

MUSE is the perfect place to eat, drink and be merry. The setting is hearty and the outside area is an absolute treat. The food was great, the live music was a vibe, and Sonja and Deon really made us feel at home. Would go there every night if I had the choice.

We were lucky enough to spend a long weekend in Knysna as a group of golfers. The food and atmosphere at Muse was recommended to us and we were pleasantly surprised. The hospitality was fantastic and the locals made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the live music, the pizzas were fantastic and the beers delicious. Thanks for having us, we will certainly return.

Was down in Knysna for 3 days and ended up eating here every night! Pizzas and nachos were amazing! The live music and vibe is awesome and the staff so friendly. Owners Sonja and Deon are also so welcoming and accommodating. Best spot in Knysna.

Very lovely place. Great music and ambience with a fire pit outside. Service was excellent, our server Maracille was attentive and very helpful. Pizza was great although a little soft in the base. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a relaxed evening if youre in the area.

Yes it was a take away and no I didnt caĺl to complain.... reason ...I specifically asked Lance for hot food which when collected was 15 min late and cold.Under cooked penne just aweful.Green veg curry one could have taken for soup.pizzas we had the night before were 7 /10but never again any take away.....appalling....

Heard pizzas were great and they offered gluten free options. We went through on Sunday night however, the hospitality lacked on arrival, the noise levels and number of intoxicated patrons was overwhelming and off putting. Sadly we left without trying the pizza. Maybe next time?

Was here with my fiancee and we had pizza, the base was super thin and toppings was plentiful overall best pizza in knysna! The atmosphere is very peace, we sat outside in the garden which was an added bonus. We definitely be coming back! 😁

This is easily the best restaurant and vibe in town! We went as a golf tour of 16 to the restaurant, they were unbelievably accommodating and the food and hospitality was 2nd to none. If I had friends as hospitable as the staff at MuSE, I would of enjoyed my golf tour more!A great restaurant run by great people and an absolute must for anyone staying in Kynsa, especially if you’re a large group!!

I travelled to Knysna alone, but coming to Muse was the most welcoming experience in all of my stay here. Dee and Sonja are amazing, all of staff is super super friendly and the food is made with love. It’s a must to visit Muse in Knysna and have a Tequila Sunrise and anything with sweet potatoes!

This place is a gem in Knysna. Great atmosphere, and a lovely fire to sit around outdoors while waiting for food. Our waiter Murphy was super friendly and attentive! We got chicken schnitzel and chicken skewers- both meals were fresh and fantastic! Topped off the meal with “Missing Moose” for dessert, which was heavenly. Will definitely return.

A good selection of vegan options, with plenty of vegetables and healthy ingredients on offer. Friendly and helpful staff, and the wait times for food were absolutely normal; not at all long. There’s also parking outside and a great outdoor area for eating.

This was a lovely visit. Treat yourself to a variety of good food with efficient and friendly service. All of this comes with reasonable prices. The outside area is lovely for kids to play while mom and dad enjoy their meal. Inside is neat and cozy. Also, easily accessible from Old Cape road just off the N2.

We had a 60th birthday party at MUSE and it was absolutely fantastic. The hosts are also the owners and were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A definite must for anyone looking for excellent food, wood-fired pizza or just a relaxing beer.

Very friendly place, beautiful gardens where one can eat or you can enjoy dinner inside. Eclectic interior, wood fired oven and great staff. Worth coming back to.

This is a fabulous place that has funky and slightly quirky decor and a great food selection. They cater reasonably well for vegetarian/vegan eaters on their pizza menu. They had live music when we were there (soft inoffensive rock sort of vibe). You can ask for seating away from the band if you want conversation to happen or just party with the band. The service is excellent and the owners are in very close attendance. They went to a great deal of trouble to help out a customer with special needs. Go. Eat!

Fantastic service and excellent choices if youre vegan or vegetarian. Super for people with small children as there is a nice and clean play area, where parents can sit in the herb garden and keep an eye on the kids. Nice choice of wines. Wish the road wasnt between the grounds and Knysna lagoon.

After we went to Muse for the first time 2 days ago, we immediately booked (again)for tonight! And again we were totally in love with the homely atmosphere, friendly owners and staff. But best of all the amazing food, made from the freshest / best local produce. The fact that so many locals support Muse, tells a story in itself! Will be back as often as I can visit knysna!

We were seated outside . It was cold and we asked for blankets which never arrived ,but the people at the table next to us received them. We waited nearly 2 hours and they still hadnt prepared our food, even though we asked a few times what was happening with our food. Nobody seemed interested in their clients. I dont reccomend yhis place. Even a bottle of water took 1 hour to arrive.

We waited over 2hrs and still didn’t get our food. On the way out, because we got tired of waiting, the cashier said its fine, they have other people. No apology for the wait. VERY VERY poor service.

My colleague and I are from Cape Town and likee the look of the menu. The restaurant was quite busy, we opted to sit outside after speaking to the manager. When we were seated no one came to see to us. After browsing through the menu we saw one of the managers attend to sn elderly couple seated at a table not too far from ours. My colleague went to the table to ask for menus which were happily handed to us by the manager. The manager then went outside and came back to attend to the couple. She did this three times. She did not once come to take our order OR send one of the other staff to our table. We spent 10-15 min of no service or any acknowledgement of our presence before we decided to leave. When we were leaving the manager acted shocked that we left their establishment when there was NO effort on their part to attend to us. Horrible service.
