My friend and I were there last Friday the food was great I throughly enjoyed my Hamburger, the waiters were attentive and professional, well done 👌🔥

Their waitrons are friendly and helpful and efficient. The restaurant is clean & aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the sundried tomato, olive and salmon pasta and it was delicious! Lovely couple of hours spent here 😊

The service is 100% satisfactory. We were sitted outside and the waiter made sure he turns the heater on to keep us warm. He made sure he served our food warm. I will definitely go back

What a 5 star experience this was! The vibe, the industrial look, the interior, the lighting, the service, the food - it was all amazing and more than we bargained for. Really!! What a treat! Definitely recommend this place for a date night or a girls nite out, even a business lunch or dinner. Its well worth a visit!

Disappointing. Service was exceptionally slow and the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. Asked for decaf coffee and got normal coffee.

Amazing place. Due to dietary issues I can only eat their marrow spaghetti pasta and the various main dishes ( tomahawk steak is my favourite -medium - no sauce just salt and pepper) coffee is amazing, and they have pouring cream 😁The mouse is rich and very tasty.

The ambience is stunning. The food is mouth watering. The sushi is the best I have ever had. Havent had a great tasting cocktail like that in a while. I enjoyed every sip of my salted caramel pistachio milkshake to the last drop. Im already looking forward to my next visit.

Such a relaxed atmosphere where you can let your hair down after a long week of work with some colleagues or friends. Definitely deserves 6stars if there was such an option available :)

Thoroughly enjoyed the hamburger and purple gin. I also loved the wings. It is a great place to spend Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The menu has a lot of options: will definitely visit again to try their pasta dishes.

This restaurant was an absolute perfect experience! The food was delicious! Huge portions, the waitrons and managers were extremely friendly and fast to serve us. Our food came in good time. Amazing place it was our first time and my bestie and I took our husbands to celebrate Fathers Day. The food was excellent but Ben our waiter was exceptional 👌 👏. He was the icing on the cake, such a beautiful soul he made sure that we were well taken care of and honestly he made our night. The 5 stars 🌟 are for him.

Been and ordered a couple of times. Their handrolls and sushi are delicious and made to be enjoyed. I have recently had their hot churros which are the perfect end to a meal on these cold wintery days. Even if you dont eat, their Gin&Tonic (Purple Gin Fizz) is the best way to end your Friday and begin your weekend.

I visit this place for lunch once in a while, and I am happy every time. I enjoy their lamb chops and rib-eye steak. Fast friendly service with no fuss.

The food portions were much bigger than I expected which was definitely value for my money. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I appreciated the beauty of the place and how aesthetically pleasing the entire restaurant is, their background music was also of great taste.

The venue is beautiful. The waiters are kind, gentle, thoughtful and professional. The food was fresh, well presented and nothing short of delightful. Mr. George also adheres to Covid rules.

Went there for a birthday celebration that the reservations were made weeks ago for a table of 30.We got kicked out before we got our drinks came because apparently our table was too noisey. Yet the manager took the reservation when it was made.We were moved to the outside where it was cold, no heater was close by, and no table setup was made.We took our party opposite to Tigers Milk, which hosted us brilliantly, and allowed us to bring in our bottles from the restaurant we were kicked out of.

Beautiful place. Breakfast was delicious and service was great. One complaint - we ordered a large nachos and the serving size was dismal compared to other branches. Other than that its a great place to have a bite.

I have never had a bad experience here. This restuarant has the best food, and is always consistent. We came as a table of 10; our food and drinks were served so quickly, plus our waitress was super respectful and got all our orders correct. I am so impressed.All restuarants should aspire to be like Mr George.

The newly renovated JBs Corner now known as Mr George is an old time favourite. Has a viby feel right on High Str, Melrise Arch. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy some new dishes on their menu. Very nice for Sundowners on a perfect cool evening in Johannesburg

Chic casual fine restaurant in upmarket Melrose Arch. Restaurant is big with different decor on different sides. Service is excellent. Food is healthy & delicious. Love it!

Great food! Big portions for reasonable prices (here is the chicken and mushroom Raigu and T Bone Steak). Definitely worth a visit. Only down side is that they are still offering plastic straws...

Good; There is a bit of a vibe here. Pretty good food, good portions with good drinks. We generally order the ribs and some sort of pizza. Weve also had sushi here before which was decent. Id recommend coming here.

This place is amongst my top 5 restaurants. I had my first ever smoked salmon poke bowl here and I have never been blown away by a meal the way I was that day. Also had their baby chicken and wings which were also out of this world, I just wish the prices were a bit down to earth....lol..Definitely going to be coming here as often as I can for the food and ambience. 👌👌👌

So I was there on the 1st of September the restaurant re-opened after lockdown and was renovated with a new menu. The food was was amazing I opted for a taco salmon starter,char grilled corn and haloemi all the starters gave a uniquely experience taste.Mains I went for sushi, the recommendation was the vegan sushi strange yes but I promise you would not even miss the fish. I also had a few other sushi dishes, and all were beyond ordinary, the food deserves a 10. The service was also a 10. A must visit i will definitely be back to explore more of the menu
