Strangely people will call to discuss your review (but then not call back at an agreed time) and then the hotel will absolutely ignore multiple requests for something simple like an invoice or update on the credits passed. The experience continues ….

I highly recommend this place. Been to many hotels but this one stands out. I slept very well while at Bath, and found their staff quite intuitive. The direct access to Rose Bank mall quite a convenience. Would love to stay there again.

Nice hotel overall. Seems to be a little old fashioned, but still luxury. They had towel warmers and a special candle by the bath. Rooms were clean and elegant. Breakfast was included, where you can order meals or pick from a small buffet. Service was overall friendly and helpful.

Booked the high tea at 54 on bath and it was certainly an experience, from brewing the teas to listening to the waiters describe the teas and the treats. The teas were interesting, some were good. The little treats were ok, too many sweet items and very little savory items. The sweet items were also over the top. We were not that hungry so it was a bit of a waste so if you do attend and you enjoy sweet stuff, go hungry!

We were a family party of 11 over the Easter weekend. Six adults and five minor children, ages 7-13.In spite of the holiday, the hotel was fully staffed and service was excellent.We had a marvelous Easter dinner in the hotel dining room.The hotel is in a nice area and is connected to a shopping mall. The children loved going into the stores and spending the last of their vacation money.

Classy hotel in central Johannesburg. The restaurant is at the fourth floor with a spacious grassy terrace with a pool. We were invited for high tea, to find an elegant and welcoming table outside. Excellent quality of the scones, pastries and especially of the savoury quiches and snacks. Pleasant and fine decor. An excellent experience.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday and checked in at the hotel, when we got to our absolutely stunning room there was champagne, a slice of cake with a congratulations message. We left the hotel and went for supper when we got back to our room there was rose petals in a heart shape and “I Love” message layer out on the bed.The staff is friendly, the room decor is modern and beautiful and oh my the breakfast was delicious!Thank you for marking our day a truly special one.

Very nice and welcoming atmosphere. The High Tea food is to chunky and too much. Less food and more dainty. The waiters are very good and helpful without being overbearing. Loved it there.

Was very lucky to celebrate my birthday with an overnight stay at 54 on Bath. In all respects it was five star. The warm friendly staff, our incredible room, complimented by five star food. Thanks for making it a special night for us, we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely hotel, great location. Front of house staff were very helpful, breakfast was varied and very nice, a great way to start the day. The sky bridge to the mall was great.

We attended the afternoon tea at on level 4. Great interesting selection of teas accompanied by lovely snacks and treats. Nice view over the city. Awsome service from staff. Would definitely recommend.

Fairly quite but great nd mellow surroundings

Attended a meeting at 54 on Bath. The place is neat and tidy. The conference room was a bit noisy as one could hear noise from outside the room. The chairs in the conference room are fairly comfortable. I could sit for two hours with only a little discomfort after about an hour and a half. The coffee was great. The served delicious food, and they have a good selection of wine. The parking area inside the hotel is safe and secure, however the parking bays are very narrow. The staff knew about the meeting, and they were very helpful to see me get to the correct floor and conference room.

Great relaxing escape from the city within the city. Loved the atmosphere, the amazing tea tasting experience with the stunning food treats and beautiful gardens. Really exceeded my expectations

Great venue with lots of different elseating areas. Stunning roof top garden with a view. The food is good had to send my steak back as it was burn. They fixed the problem promptly and the rest of the night was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed on the 10th floor suite and the view is amazing. The room is spacious and very clean. Staff and concierge are on the ball and do everything to accommodate you. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel, amenities & rooms are very comfortable spacious & clean. The staff was very friendly eventhough our welcoming staff was not that welcoming. Loved the pillows and our bed. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy or try the breakfast buffet due to delays on our flight but restaurant are looked great as well as the champagne room & terrace. The hotel has access to the mall & to planet fitness. Over all, a great stay & definitely will get back. Oh! Room service was great & our sandwiches were delicious!

Amazing staying experience. The staff were friendly ,helpful and accommodating. The hotel is neat and clean and just beautifully decorated. The food was out of this world. Room service was especially great for those too lazy to go out for dinner .

Not as good as it used to be. Bar menu has suddenly disappeared and staff not trained. Not their fault. Still serves a great martini. Apparently the vodka one is good too, but we all know thats not a REAL martini

Truly a five star hotel, Loved the comfortable bed, the little extra touches like foam bath by the bath tub. Great breakfast and lovely pool area. And excellent service, well mannered staff compliment.

It was a function hosted by Novus printers in one of the rooms, so did not experience the dinigh area where high tea normally held. But oh my word! The delicious food and fabulous teas! Service excellent, with attentive and helpful people everywhere.

Stayed here multiple times on business and wouldnt stay anywhere else. Incredibly nice with an even more convenient location. Connected to the Rosebank ball so anything you need is only a small walk away. Friendly staff who always greet you.

Had high tea at 54 on bath , it was an amazing experience , the service is top notch , staff excellent, the ambiance is beautiful and food above excellent and of course the tea was quite an experience! Havent resided heres as a guest but my family regularly have breakfast here for birthday celebrations. The fourth floor terrace is breathtaking, and isolated and private. Offering spectacular views of the Rosebank small business district and surrounding Johannesburg.

Food amazing and staff very friendly but also very disorganized. Several annoying moments like the wifi being down the entire visit, staff serving dinner haphazardly, dirty plates, glasses and cutlery lingering far too long, having to go looking for our waiter. Good manners and a great attitude will get you far but for a space like this your delivery has also got to be on point.

Good conference center for meetings. Breakfast was amazingly delicious.

54 on bath is awesome boutique hotel, that has a great ambience for those business meetings with feel of the comforts of home and amazing food, with friendly staff. They seem to get everything right every time I am there.

Immaculate furniture, quiet, good food, amazing conference resources

This is a southern sun hotel conveniently situated on bath avenue close to the rosebank mall. There’s also a hospital close by and a street of trendy bars within walking distance from the hotel.

Food was perfect and so was the services. Venue is beautiful.

Didnt stay here, came only for the high tea. You have to book and pay in advance because they prepare the food for you on the day. Theres sow thing to arriving at a place thats expecting you, be served delicious treats and then leaving at your leisure never having to reach for your wallet. The teas, the scones, jams, sandwiches, and pastries were delightfully divine. Well worth the money and then moment I have even a minor reason to go again I will. Of course its not good for your waistline but the best things never are.

The high tea is highly recommended.

Situated next to the Mall of Rosebank, this hotel oozes five star class and elegance.As soon as you enter the lobby, you know that youre in for a luxurious experience.The rooms are well laid out and your every whim is catered for.The bar is rather small and can only comfortably hold a maximum of 10 people at a time.Breakfast at the restaurant is sublime, but if you feel the urge to venture into the mall for something different, the hotel is connected by a private walkway - just make sure to keep your hotel keycard with you as you might need it to gain access to the hotel after certain hours.

Called and made a reservation, mentioned it was our anniversary. When we arrived we were served with welcomed drinks on the house which not many restaurants offer. Food was delish and presentation was amazing, service excellent. We were treated to a free Anniversay cake as well which made it extra special. Highly recommended.
