Nice and friendly staff did everything a restaurant is supposed to do. Music not too loud, play area for children and tv for the sports fans. Very enjoyable.

I had lunch here yesterday. Decided to do the half chicken and 6 medium prawns. Food takes a bit of time but its worth it because its fresh and hot! Service and staff was friendly. Id go back again.

Which was a hit with our 4 year old.The child minded was great, they coloured in and played hide n seek.The food is very nice and decent portion sizes too.Nice spot, will go there again.

I only went there for drinks so I cant really say much about their food. However the space is nice and fairly big. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The smokers area has a beautiful sunset for view. Overall a nice chill place for a pre up.

Excellent food but service is not great. They used to bring nuts but now you have to beg for it, table was not ready, there was no toilet paper in ladies bathroom. In addition, portions a bit small for the price.

Nice a clean, tables are big enough for families, kids can room freely ,its great staff just good vibes all around. But the star of the show is the food congratulations to the chef absolutely divine.

Food can not be faulted. However as a regular I was disappointed at the unexpected out of control drunk group that disrupted the the usually pleasant visit. Usually perfect for couples looking for a peaceful place to eat out can now be compared to the noisy venues across the complex. Definitely take away next time.

Live band, good service and good food the lemon and garlic sauce was delicious. I had the calamari& prawns combo my daughter had the 10 prawns. Would have been a 5 rating but the chips servings were tiny we ended up having to order an extra plate which was still tiny.

Nice vibe and good service. Rump steak with egg was cooked as requested and tasted good. Coconut flavoured rice is a must. I will try the seafood next time!

I have eaten at other branches but this one stands out. Their chicken, sauce and coconut rice meal is to die for. Was served by a pleasant and efficient waitress. Didnt get her name. Feeling very satisfied. Will definately be back.

The one star is really for the good food.Arrived there on a cold Sunday afternoon:- The lady that seated us down didnt wipe down the table. She was coughing the whole time we were there, very concerning given the current Corona wave.-We requested that that the gas heater be switched on only to be told that the gas ran out. No attempt was even made to switch it on.-Our waiter Monica was the worst, not accommodating of our toddler, no crayons or paper were offered.Not once did she come back to check on us after serving us our meals.She also forgot to give us our doggy bag, had to ask for it upon leaving. And despite this we tipped her 10%.I love this Mozambik but Ill definitely not be returning.

Mozambik is the best Portuguese restaurant that comes from South Africa. And this includes the country that gave us Nandos. And what works here so brilliantly is that although it is a franchise, I have had the same quality and taste of food no matter where I go in South Africa. So much credit there.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Mozambik Sunninghill. After a couple of hit and miss experiences with the franchise, we decided to give Sunninghill a try and I am very happy we did; the food was delicious.They will definitely see us again.I am really sorry that I cannot remember the name of our waiter, he was a gem.

Ive experienced Mozambiq from 2006 in Salt Rock Ballito.The taste never change and also their sauces they cool. Im still in love with their prawns🥰

Loved the food

We enjoyed our experience alot.The kids corner can be abit noisy but when are kids not noisy!We were quite surprised that every table had a hand santizer.They took our temp on entry and noted our details.We had the combos of half chicken and calamari with half and half chips and coconut rice.And the portion size was incredible leaving me stuffed.We have decided well definitely go again.And we hope the team there keep up the amazingly good job of running that restaurant.

Best service happy smiles occassionally theres a mishap in the kitchen but always made up by the drinks ambience and happy staff vibes. We never fail to meet new friends in this homely environment.

Arrive hungry always leave happy...The Chicken Risolles, Sacana and ribs are a delight...they very rarely get it wrong

Not a great choice. The prawns were over cooked, chalky and stuck to the shells suggesting that they were old and frozen. I would like to say the Trinchado steak was tasteless but unfortunately I can’t. It is obvious that the cooks there do not taste what they prepare. Service was slow but friendly enough. All In all, I would say that given the amount of restaurants in the area, I would look elsewhere.

A bit disappointing this time as they have no traditional beer, which is always a highlight. Cannot get stock from Mozambique, not really something that can control. The meal, as usual, was fantastic.

A one star would be much more appropriate however I am settling for two stars ONLY because of our waitress, who was kind and well trained.How expensive is this restaurant? The food is hardly worth it, we ordered two trinchados and honestly, easily the worst trinchado we have ever had. The sauce was like water and the meat was tough and chewy. They use Mccain chips, they exact same you would buy from checkers to make in your oven. Parents had a steak and prego, food was mediocre. Not worth the price you pay for it.Table wasnt wiped before we sat down, menus were sticky and gross - we had to ask for things to be sanitized and wiped.Give it a skip, save your wallet, go somewhere else.

I cant believe these guys actually followed up on my review. That means so much to me. The food was great and the atmosphere was also great but the service offered on the particular day i visited was just not on par.I am sure they will turn it around or it was just a bad day. I will give them another shot and see...
