Amazing, amazing, amazing.... Probably one of the few places who deserves 7 stars. The food was awesome. First visit definitely left a lasting impression. Such a great menu and drinks to choose from. Love the decor and set up. Waiters were super inviting and friendly. The portions of the food was definitely worth the price. Cant say enough good things about Kitchen Vibes!

I was at Kitchen Vibe, Sandton with my family for their buffet. It is indeed an amazing place to be and worth the billing. For a unique taste, Continental & Nigerian Dishes that many are yet to be exposed to, in a world class environment and with excellent service, I definitely recommend Kitchen Vibes for everyone that want a new taste of the best African cuisines.

I love the western food I’ve tasted there. The deco is absolutely lovely and the staff is very friendly and the vibe is superb . The prices are absolutely affordable. I would recommend that some of the dishes be made less spicy! Other than that, I highly recommend this place and would go back any time I get the chance.

So I and some of my friends visited south Africa last month for a very short vacation for the first time and the urge for home food (my country food) came calling. The leader of my team who has made some remarkable research about the place and a broader knowledge about Joburg promised to take us to a Ninja restaurant(in her words ). I eventually visited*** Kitchen vibes** and I must confess it was home away from home for me. Beautiful place, nice ambiance,excellent customer service, unlimited meal menue to select from and a sumptuous taste to enjoy . Being a Proudly Nigerian, the pepper soup was the highlight of the day for me. Their prices were fair enough save the compulsory tip ;10% of the total amount spent in the restaurant which we had to pay and thats the only reason they are not getting my 5stars.So for the record if you are going there take extra money for tips, it mandatory to pay and enjoy your meal.P.s am sorry for the long story,it just might help.

My experience at the Kitchen Vibes yesterday afternoon was pleasant. The food we had was good; delicious and excellently well presented, from the starters to the dessert. The price for the food list is fair. The restaurants location is upmarket, the atmosphere of the setting is no doubt outstanding. Customer service was great too; my wife and I were well looked after by our waiter. This place is a truly continental African restaurant with food from each regional area on their menu.However, if you are a first time visitor to the Kitchen Vibes, dont be shocked but bear in mind a couple of things are different here from the conventional upmarket restaurants just around the block. A 10% tip for your waiter is calculated into your final bill - although, my waiter blames it on computer errors and claims it is not compulsory. I also noticed that a gratuity section was also provided on the bill slip - with a pen in the bill folder for you to fill in a tip! This repeated error clearly need urgent attention. Availability of wines are limited on my visit. Be aware that youll pay for the water served in the glass bottle. I didnt find it listed on the menu brochure. The food portions are also ridiculously small; this is clearly not a Mama Put canteen but a place for experiencing continental African cuisine. And without mincing words, that experience of food from the four corners of Africa is well worth it!

Had dinner and it was OK except that it was so hot inside. It seems the air on wasnt working. They also didnt have the orange juice and the cocktail we ordered even it was in their menu. But overally its a quiet place

Food and music is great. Some cocktails and food items were unavailable. Service is lacking, we had to ask multiple times to be attended to we were overlooked for some services (we didnt receive a starter bowl). We also asked to speak to the manager and the waitress brought us another waiter pretending to be the manager.Finally, we were able to air our grievances to Deji the Manager, who assured us that our complaints would be considered. I will be going back for the food and music on Fridays

It was awful. Firstly it took a good 25minutes for our drinks to arrive and then when they did bring them they brought us their own suggestion instead of what we ordered, of which the drinks were just ice and lime. Then they didnt have half the stuff on the menu and we ended up leaving without ordering food, yet we planned a girls night out at an African restaurant but our night was ruined.

This restaurant doesnt fit it with the rest of this shopping enter. It has a definite shebeen vibe. Food is well below average, undercooked and not well seasoned. Very disappointed in my experience. What a waste of time and money.

The best mogodu Ive ever had! This restaurant serves the best African cuisine. Portion sizes are a bit small though but would definitely be spoiling myself with a visit here every now and then

Great location, good food, friendly waiters and waitresses. The decor is beautiful and not what I would have expected, which definitely caught my eye. Sundowners/Dinner, KitchenVibesSA accomodates both. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you want to try out a variety of Nigerian cuisine, it is absolutely the best place to mingle and meet amazing people. 🙂
