Appalling service from Killarney, yet again. Every single time I place an order with Killarney there has to be a problem, this is starting to be the norm.The other time they got my wings flavour wrong, then one time they didnt supply me with the wings sauce, then now they decided that they will give me potato chips when I had clearly chosen a Veg. Its really disappointing and proves their incompetency!!!! I want my Veg! Its absurd! A Mr Delivery order, #DFD79846253

The service was amazing. The trainee waiter was attentive, professional and very friendly. The food was really tasty, the milkshakes are amazing and the prices are affordable. Manager was also very helpful. Would highly recommend this branch of wimpy.

This wimpy is really great as it’s halal and since we don’t eat pork it’s a treat to be able to eat any breakfast without paying extra.Service by our waitress (Angie Ndlovu) was excellent and she is super friendly and on the ball but I am rating 4 stars as the kitchen took a bit longer than usual to prepare our meals but it came perfectly prepared to the Wimpy standards I have gotten used to over the last 40 years of eating at Wimpy all over the country.All in all easy 4 star experience and will surely be back.

Ive eaten at this wimpy a few times. TYPICAL WIMPY FAIR, so a few issues 1.flat coke, they gave me a can, 2. my chips was cold! Manager sorted it out.My guests from cape town complained about limp rubbery toast , overdone Macon, ive decided never again will I eat here. Service was slow 30 minutes to do an order.0

Its Halaal, so if youre looking for that bacon and pork sausage like I was it isnt there unfortunately. But the service was good and its really clean.. But whats a wimpy breakfast without bacon for some of us

Most terrible visit to a Wimpy ever! After we were shown to a table, it was another 15 minutes before we could get the attention of a waiter and place our order. When the food came, it was a further disappointment and incredibly underwhelming. The food on the plate was an extremely failed attempt at the food on the menu. The waiter was even embarrassed to serve me the portion of ribs and returned it to the kitchen before I could say anything about it. Not that it helped cause when he brought back the corrected portion it was all just the same. The wings were just drenched in the the peri-peri sauce. My husbands steak and BBQ chicken looked like something youd serve the dog. This was absolutely terrible. If Wimpy values their reputation, they should move quickly to offer better training to the kitchen staff and customer service training to the waiting staff.

Eish, no bacon? I understand its Halaal but Wimpy is notorious for their great breakfasts. Service was really good though and the waiter did express sincere apology for no bacon.

Worst service ever from waiters especially with Rita she gave me an attitude when I arrived she greeted me and that was it no one bothered to bring the menu l had to ask them if its now a self service but the lady seemed not to care and I asked if I can see the manager she just ignored and l left went downstairs to eat at Delfono, as a former wimpy waitress lm so much dissapointed with the service from wimpy killarney you guys you need to up your game as l was not the only one complaining and l will never step my foot again.

Horrible service from both floor staff and kitchen staff and manager, shifting blame to supplier about the old lettuce instead of apologizing when we raised the issue about the lettuce, some of the chips were soaked in oil it didnt look like they were the same brand of chips, roll was just falling apart as you bite into it as if it had been there for weeks.I asked for my kids food to come as soon as possible BUT only arrived when all our food came .asked for my second drink to arrive with my food and it only arrived when i was almost done.0/5

What an amazing experience. Wimpy is one of my favourites in general, but this specific branch exceeded all my expectations. I use reusable straws and, after having a milkshake, was about to take it out of the empty glass for the waitron when he said he would wash it for me. It was brought back sparkling clean and bone dry. The food was fantastic and cant rave enough about the service.

They do NOT wear gloves. Its and pandemic and there cooking without close

Good food with warm and friendly staff

The service was impressive, although not on the level expected. I guess the bar set by Fordsburg is way above par. The food was good. The ribs were not done perfectly. It was not crispy enough.

I was seated at 7am when they opened exactly. I ordered and received my meal quickly. I asked for ice cubes as the mega coffee was just too hot for me and my waited fulfilled my request.

Loses 1 star for size of play area, its way too small. Otherwise one of the better Wimpy outlets. The hake is better than most seafood restaurants.

Front desk lady was not approachable at all. Coffee arrived at a Luke warm temperature which I was not impressed especially when its my first cup of the day.Toast was too hard and Macon as well.I did however, enjoy the strawberry milk shake

Really well prepared food and nice ambience. The boss Mr. Mohammed is a gentleman and will make u feel really comfortable if he is around. Orders can take a while during peak hours so make sure u have a drink and something to surf while u wait. Just opposite the Pick n Pay supermarket its an ideal place to rest ur feet and nurse ur stomach after a bout of weekend shopping.

Wait wait wait....is this regular chilli sauce here, or is it the franchisees own brand? Tastes like chilli powder and water/oil. Ate here many times. Theres this mature waiter here (middle aged), cant remember his name...uses a Stetson hat I think. Really cool guy. Intelligent, hospitable, has a passion for his job (naturally, not overdone). Hes the only thing that gets me back here. Intermittent service in general though. Obviously quick service when quite, but all goes south when a tad busy. I once sat here (after a host seated me), for over 20 minutes without acknowledgement from any waiter. Yes, within that time, I did get the attention of the host again for service to no avail. Even if Im not ordering, at least acknowledge the presence of a guest, and simply say Ill be with you as soon as I can, were just a little busy, and thats understood. Not blatant ignorance, with waiting staff thinking that if they dont look at me, I wont see them.

Food takes forever to come. Patties in burger came burnt and ordered a bowl that had peppers in but they brought it with no peppers and waitress says no stock but did not tell us before we ordered. The owner was good enough to replace it, but another 30min wait. Really need to up their game. Waiters need training....terrible service and never follow up.

Wimpy is Wimpy. Some are better than others but this isnt one of them. They have along way to go with their toasties to avoid the lack lustre filling between 2 slices of dry bread.

This is a nice little wimpy in the mall,  food is good and table service is excellent. Staff are friendly and efficient, Mall is not too busy, very small play area for kids, though understandable considering the small size of the actual Resturant.

Ordered only 4 milkshakes and 1 hot chocolate but order took really really long. The bar one milkshakes had no taste, not up to standard like all the other Wimpys around the country. The breaking of big halaal marshmallows for the milkshakes looks so untidy and unprofessional, rather not put the marshmallows.

One of my favourite Wimpy branches in Johannesburg, perhaps because I like Killarney Mall if thats a bias to consider.I go here once every 1-2 months on average. Havent seen it get too busy and staff are very friendly serving orders in a timely manner. I especially love breakfast outings
