I went to Checkers Southgate on 20 Sept after almost a year. I enjoyed the spaciousness, variety and cleanliness.I bought a French loaf which was delicious. I will definitely go back for more.I must applause the guy and the lady who stood at the entrance door who both assisted me to transfer my items from the small trolley to the big trolley.I did not expect them to help.My perception of Checkers Southgate has changed for the better. Thank you.

Great supermarket and fast, clean and its nice to even do your shopping there. Friendly staff are good way of telling that the managers are right they dont frustrate them and that makes it easy for them to handle customers. For a business to be great it must start from head . Then all will be well and the staff will even calm down the clients who have tv tendencies

Covid regulations been followed, store is properly spaced and placed

Quite crowded at certain times of the day, but it is a great place to get shopping done

I love shopping here. Now that they have XTRA SAVINGS cards. I really save on my shopping. The teller was so friendly and helpful. She made my shopping experience such a joy. Im grateful that the store closes at 7pm during the week , as i could go do my grocery shopping after work. Checkers is truly priced right

All Covid protocols are observed, clean, full of stock except for one Chicken spice. It was on special and I couldnt find any staff around to help.

I bought these cakes at Checkers Southgate today(21/01/2020), they smell of meat oil, i dont know as to whether you guys recycle your oil are cooking meat in the same place with cakes but hai Noo! i still have the cakes with me in case you want to inspect them!

Each time I come here, which is usually peak time, the lines to the tills are long & they just take forever.

They have variety of produce . Beautiful fresh fruit and veggies . Absolutely love their variety of frozen fish products Then theres the chicken ,the cheapest and fresh and clean ,individually wrapped .

Service was unbelievably fast at the tills...friendly as well. They had most of the products I wanted. The fruit and vegetables was not very fresh, but the shop was clean.
