I just want to thank Sizwe and Thembi from the bakery department. I came in yesterday afternoon and asked for a cake to be baked for my godson for today and they not only delivered, Thembi waited inline with me and helped me get my goods to the car. I think it is such a breath of fresh air when you meet people who go out of their way to make sure you have a great day. Thank you both so so much! You made a little boys day!

Do not use this Checkers to drop off your Aramex package...dropped off a package midday Tuesday (it is Thursday today), still not able to track...appears that Aramex forgets to pick up from here...logged a call at 7:30am on Wednesday and package still not collected!....ridiculous service. Called other drop of points and packages have been collected as per normal. Also, this Checkers does not even answer their phones!

Absolutely disgusted with the service of a particular staff member, a young lady that’s supposedly supervisor. There was an error with my purchase and her attitude and arrogance towards a client is unacceptable. I did it even get an apology when the mistake was the staffs

I am disgusted to see the butcher staff handling the meat with no gloves on!!! Especially during COVID times and we entering the 3rd wave. !We waited over 20 minutes for them to re pack mince into a bulk pack. While they were having a fat conversation laughing and giggling.

Have come to love the mature Checkers steak over Woolies. This particular checkers has sold me mature steak thats rotten twice in the same month.Worse, some admin clerk handles the incident - no management responsibility.

Well organised, reasonably priced. Large variety, friendly staff, shop neat and clean.

The chicken strips I bought today was dry and very hard. It was over cooked and burnt.

Our favorite go-to-supermarket. Excellent and large variety of quality foods and goods. Regular specials and 50% markdowns on fresh food and other items. Freshly baked goods daily, even prepared meals, etc. Friendly staff and excellent manager running the show at this gem of a Checkers. Recently had a huge makeover too. Looking good Checkers! 😁

Love the layout of of the new improved store. Well done. What I found a bit of a bother was the placement of the daily newspapers. Should be displayed near the magazines not where it is currently placed. Otherwise my shopping experience was great. The long wait for the renovations to be completed was worthwhile.

After the revamp, this checkers is the best place to shop in the area. The bakery has the best freshly baked bread. To be a bit picky the fresh fish section could be bigger, but otherwise wonderful place for grocery shopping.

Awesome look after the upgrade. Huge range of products now to choose from. We have however purchased two products now which was already expired or a different tag was placed on the expiry date like the first product. I will report it if theres a third time but service is generally good.

Checkers glenvista is in my opinion the best checkers in the south.I have been pleased with them for over five years with friendly staff, A wide range of products and never out of stock with what you need.keep up the great work you guys rock👌👍👍👍

Staff were on strike. Layout of shop does not accommodate long queues resulting in other shoppers unknowingly pushing in. No staff to serve customers at butchery. Horrible experience.

Nothing special about this store other than the underground parking available to shoppers. On occasion I’ve experienced a bit of an unpleasant odour as I’ve entered the store on the fruit and veg side.

Check your bags at checkers Glenvista, twice in the past I’ve got home and Not everything I paid for is in the packet , now for a third time I haven’t been given all my items, are we not being robbed enough by the prices we have to pay, now we don’t even get to take home what you paid for, check your bags 3 times before leaving these thieves.

I walked round the isles looking for something n there was not even a single shop assistant in the floor to assist. Some employees were just standing there looking at me like a suspected shoplifter.
