What you order via Uber eats as per menu is not what you get. This is suppose to be fresh Sesame- Crusted Buttermilk Fried Chicken Strips. Instead I received bad smelling chicken Strips.

Within minutes of arriving I was asked what I would like to drink. I asked for water as I wasnt feeling well. However in another 5 minutes the waitress asked again what I wanted . I said to please hold on I am feeling unwell.She insisted I had to order. I said No not now. When I turned to look as she walked to the rest of the staff I saw the manager mary watching us and shaking her head! She then came over and said to my brother that we had to order, because we see you hold meetings here often and so you need to order because times are tough. Its not right I was stunned. My brother goes there maybe 2x a week and he always orders. I would have ordered food as I needed to take medication but i just didnt want to order right away.Neither he nor i will meet at Mugg and Bean Norwood again.

Mugg and Bean is one of the few eating establishments that consistently deliver good quality meals and service. My first sit-down meal since the beginning of lock-down was brunch at M&B. I had the chicken-mayo sandwich and my hubby had the bacon&egg sandwich. Both meals were scrumptious, the waiters were professional and considerate. I was quite comfortable, considering the physical distancing and self-consciousness around eating out during these scary times. I would certainly recommend a sit-down meal at M&B.

Very good place for a meeting

Service was really good and attentive and efficient. I had the new bean and bacon hash. The flavours become a little overwhelming, but still tasty. Great toast and onion marmalade!

Favourite for most Norwood shoppers. Food and service good. Large menu. Can sit as long as one wants. Large patio for smoking.

Staff wonderful and friendly. Portions unfortunately small. Had a toasted cheese which was very dry and underwhelming, barely any cheese, nothing special. Chips not particularly good either. A casual and convenient location though for a quick brunch.

Their coffee is disgusting undrinkable slop. I sent it back and refused to pay for it. They serve toast with no butter, you have to ask for everything you want one thing at a time. Their eggs Benedict source has absolutely no flavour, their avocado pear was green and had been cut on each end (probably) was salvaged. This is all bad management. I certainly will never go back to Mugg and Bean and waste my money.

And am a regular customer.I have a complaint which seriously needs to be investigated,Paper straws spoil any drink made with crushed ice, they become soggy and disgusting!Everytime i order a drink with ice and i get a paper straw, i would rather send it back instead of attempting to suck on a soggy thing,Im am sure there are other better ways of saving our planet !!

This particular Mug & Bean is a cut above the rest the food is always perfectly prepared and the cakes (plain baked cheese cake, and Chocolate, peanut and banana cake) are the best I have ever tasted.
