Me and my family have been eating at fishaways for a while but last night we found our experience rather disappointing.We order the 3 specials; rice, chips, salad and fish. Although the fish was excellent, the chips were not cooked properly, the rice was hard, as if it was old and the salad was brown in color and smelt funny.We ended up just having the fish alone for dinner...This is unfortunate, but we hope you can take our concerns to heart.

Have to rate them with a star,would not give it even but for review purposes I have to start with one star. Ordered from them and when my ordered was delivered I noticed that I ordered one item to little. Phoned them and ordered the item for delivery. Delivery was confirmed after explaining the mistake on my side. Never received the item ordered. This is poor to say the least. Not that it was free as I was paying for the item .

Fresh fish all the time and chips served with lemon but prices have changed but still affordable, raw fishes also available

Usually I love your food, but yesterday the 08/08/21 around 17h30 I must have received the worst service and poorest quality food..the rice and fish was soggy, and left an unbelievable after taste in my mouth, which Im battling to get rid of. My docket no was 190...I will sadly not be using fishaways in George again aga

Good dayI just want to say that the service for delivery is very poor the staff cant help you take your order for delivery and cant even spell the complex name.This is my 3rd time I have order but they still cant do it right please get people who can spell and read to take orders I will never order from you guys again

Here you wait long for your food and you must check your food because I got the wrong order the other day and had to drive there again but my wife likes the food.

One star, actually no. No stars, I ordered a salad from them last night and found blood in it when I wanted to eat it. Had I eaten it no questions asked, who knows how many diseases I would have gotten from that.

Still waiting for an order I placed almost 2 hours ago. The dont even appologize... So what ever went wrong... No feedback. Worst service in George

I have ordered a order from Fishaways about an hour and a half ago and still didnt receive any food. The lady over the phone that assisted me told me they are not busy but she has no idea how long the drivers will take. This is really ridiculous service!! So disappointed because i really liked your food!! Not ordering from you again.

The food is great, but the lady that helped me could have been n bit friendlier.

Food took a while to be prepared. Order was ready but not called out. Customer before us was very unhappy as it seemed his order was given to someone else. He eventually left empty-handed. The service need to improve. The food was good as expected.

We used to love this place. The meals were delicious and were value for money. Tonight we ordered pop prawns, calamari tubes, regular hake and rice and snoek and chips. They were still delicious, but the portion sizes has decreased so much. The regular hake looks like it has been cut in half lengthways. It would not be enough for a child. Very disappointing. We will not be buying anything from them again.

Ordered a R40 calamari wrap only to find out it was not calamari but NORMAL hake that was fried in batter to be disguised as calamari. Very disappointed, wont recommend you to any potential clients in future. What a rip off.

Hear alot of people saying always check your order before you leave.. Never did I think it necessary, but after getting home and seeing that everything was wrong and the buns on the burgers were so dry they literally turned into crumbs apart when you touched them..actually just ruined our night

Order placed 28/03/19 at 18h04 order number Order # 23761148 for delivery, its now 19h30 still no order, phoned 15 minutes ago and was told driver is on his way, hard to believe since I stay less than 3km down the road from Fish Away. I believe the name should rather say Stay Away!!!
