Very slow service. Staff disinterested in customer queries. When I was there one customer from the drive thru had to come inside just to replace her order. I thought the purpose of the drive thru experience was convenience.....

It was paper toys and I have two 1 yr old children. It wasnt the toy as advertised. There wasnt any lettuce for our burgers and the waitress who brought our food to the car just dumped it on our laps. Not a thank you for waiting or anything.

Exceptional service from the staff at McDonald’s George. I was welcomed by a very helpful and friendly lady in blue. While drinking a cup of coffee some the staff went out there way to help a little boy with his and his moms ice cream order. They went out there way to make the experience special for the little boy.Best service I’ve seen in a long time.Outstanding job guys!!!!!!

I drove through George on my road trip and found a slice of familiarity at the George Macdees. Friendly service, patient staff and piping hot chips. Thank you for making my on-the-road snack the best it could be!

Can service and friendliness get any better! At every counter stop they look at me like I am the most beautiful woman and the only customer in a million years ...... in a 5 second span. Wow!

Was my last time eating there for a while. Chicken patties look like a chicken meat foam with small pieces of meat in between. It tasted just like it looks. The staff is super friendly and good at what they do, but eating there today just reminded me how horrible their patties are.

Was very hot but got icecream

Food is drier than a desert, i very rarely find a noticable amount of sauce on the burgers i order, and thus it is extremely easy to choke if you arent insanely careful. I would not recommend ever considering this McDonalds. Rather try the one at the mall.

Took a take away and had to ask for catch-up. No serviettes, salt or sugar was in the package. Was disappointed, but it is what it is right.

First thing that caught my eye was the Self help machine! Quite impressive - Makes life a bit easier. I also quite liked the interior style and colour combination. Only downside is that they do not have a back up generator, so no McDonalds during loadshedding or any other power cuts for that matter.

Everytime we come to your drive thru, whether they are busy or not, we are sent to the parking to wait 10 mins for our food.This is not how a drivethru works.The clue here is in the name..

Its McDonalds, what can you say? You know what to expect here. York Str McDonalds is always clean though and staff are above the rest, just do check your orders as I have been here in the past and received wrong orders, especially when placing one for a large family. Other than that there arent any problems here. Good service day or night.

Wanted to order food, drove from home just to find out that they close 15 minutes in advance ! Terrible service.I spoke to the manager to ask him why they are closing ahead of time while looking at my watch and he lies to my face telling me it is 2 minutes past closing time ! Thats just terrible service. Wish i could give a lower rating !

Did not hate the place. They placed my order on machine, gave me the slip and I took my seat together with 2 other people and we WAITED about 20 mins. There is no notification to explain that we have to pay first and then take a seat. I am an inspector with NOSA and quality control.

For the first time that I have waited so long in a drive through at a Macdonalds. 20min is totally unacceptable!!!

That was one of the best Quarter Pounder Ive had in ages. Admittedly I habe a bias tendency favouring Mac Burgers, still ot was one of the best Ive experienced in a really long time.

Food and service are decent, but does not operate according to advertised business hours. Ice cream machine is always broken.

The service standards have dropped significantly. Average waiting time for basic burger meal is about 20 minutes now. Why?

Deducted a star for having the menu after the intercom, I wanted to try something new but got flustered and fell back to my usual because I didnt have time to decide. If it was before the intercom I could have decided before reaching the intercom.Deducted a star for having the size changes at the pay window instead of at the order intercom. Meaning I ordered a large and paid for a large when I wanted a medium with a medium price.

Cashier did not want to accept Card and Cash payment. Had to call the manager to pay for meal
