The Prawn special is well worth R99. The rice could have had a bit more taste to it but the prawns were excellent.

No secret why I love John Dorys! I am a known Ice-CreamoHolic!! Very finicky about it too. They have the best for me. Love seafood too and normally enjoy fried fish there as well.Please do not change the recipe!

Been here plenty of times before but today I went with my grandfather. We both had the Tempura Chicken Schnitzel. The food was good, my grandfather had white wine to drink and I had a milkshake. Both drinks were really good. I have had no complaints for this restuarant for the many times I have been.

We love coming here for garlic prawns. We live in Knysna and have a lot of seafood restaurants but yet John Dorys remains our favourite. Also great value for money. Theres a nice safe outdoor play area for kids. They are licensed to serve alcohol. Also be sure to say hi to Nemo in the small fish tank by the entrance. Or pick your fresh oysters.

We hsd a 47th birthday and a 21st wedding anniverery all in one lunch. No booking in advance and as a large party of 10 we were accomodated on one table and treated very well. My wife choched very badly. They have a qualified firts aider who promplty assisted. Great service

Situated at Eaden Meander, it is a nice family restaurant with area for the kids to play. The kids play area is outside, but enclosed and also underroof.As this is a franchise, the menu is standard and you can check online for any specials being run.It is wheelchair friendly and also has its own bathrooms within.

Ive been coming to this John Dory since it first opened. I have yet to be disappointed. Staff are awesome, friendly and professional. Sushi gents are the most awesome guys, they treat us like family, and remember our favorites. They also recommend new treats based on our likes. Simply put, a wonderful experience, thanks guys and girls.

Kiddies corner very good in terms of games and activities, 10/10 for this no jokes.The menu not really flexible when customers require/need adaptations to be made despite customer’s willingness to pay for this. Considering other establishments whereby similar requests has been made and the adaptations were happily catered for.Hope to see an improvement in this regard.

John Dorys is a wonderful family restaurant, offering great service from friendly staff. Their coffee is especially delicious, I can definitely recommend it. The restaurant in Eden Meander is spacious with a great vibe and even a place for the youngsters to play while mom and dad eat their meal. If you happen to travel through George or if you live here, make sure you visit this great restaurant.

Situated in the Meander Mall. The waiters are very helpful and friendly. The food is excellent and I never had a bad experience. The restaurants layout is such that you feel very private although there is people everywhere. Easily accessible from one of the entrances and situated rather near every shop in the mall.

Very nice restaurant located next to the garden in the mall. The waitress was great and most of the presented food.It was only the salad that was just not acceptable. Side salad consisting of one cherry tomato and the rest salad and onion.Overall, not bad

Although the hake and chips was tasty, the single piece of hake was very thin and the chips very little. This led to having to order side chips, which ended up being slightly more than what was on the initial plate. Not value for money if I make relevant comparisons. Placing profits first and riding on client trust?
