Great place for a family to visit - they have a kiddies play area fully equipped with everything your child needs.They offer a childrens menu as well as a drinks menu for over 18s. Best burgers served here with Spurs legendary onion rings and chips.Can order via Mr Delivery too.

My favourite Spur. The oldest Spur in George and a favourite amongst locals. Has beautiful view of George and the mountains. Food and service is great. Keep an eye out for specials. Always good value for money. Kids love the Spur since they have a kiddies play area. Parents love it too since the play area keeps the kids occupied and they can enjoy a drink. The Spur is licenced to sell alcohol.

Im a wing lover and I order a full rack of Buffalo BBQ wings and they were dreadfully. Dry and not the way Im used to getting from them. Not even coated in BBQ sauce properly. This is really the worst wings I have had.

When you go to the Spur at the George Mall, their food portions at breakfast time is presented much nicer than the way the Geronimo Spur in the CBD branch serves their breakfast portions.

Spur is a family favourite, with consistent good quality and pricing. With growing children constantly demanding to go to their favourite place away from home, it is always a good choice for a leisurely meal (and playtime)

Solid Spur experience. Exactly what I was expecting.

I ordered take aways telephonically.On arrival, 40 minutes later, my order was not yet ready. I waited another 15 minutes. My food arrived and I received a complimentary mushroom sauce... which I appreciated. On arrival at home I realized the veggies which I ordered were not in the packet. My opinion of the experience is that the quality of service is suffering from post covid damage. The focus is lacking but at least this can be remedied by motivation and small victories. Lastly I must mention...the rump steak was exceptional and worth the wait.

Best SPUR meal in ages... makes you wonder if the lockdown did not make the restaurants more attent on delivering better meals 🤔

Waiters have a really infuriating attitudes due to allocation of tables or sections... To the point of not getting serviced. Waited for nearly 20 minutes to receive a menu and first contact with someone to assist me. Great steaks though... 8/10 for their steaks and 1/10 for service

Spur and service excellence is consistent. Always poor. But in a town youve never been what else are you gonna do but grin and bear it coz you hungry its Sunday and they open...

Food is always amazing...I travel to George for business every 3 months and this is always a Friday night stop for me...for the smokers unfortunately they dont have a smoking section but you can still have a great meal with an amazing glass of wine or beer, or for the ones with the sweet tooth a double thick bar one milkshake is a must...enjoy

It was quiet, obviously due to level 3 lockdown, but the staff and managers were really friendly. And nothing beats a Spur burger with chips and onion rings.

Never going back there again..., was there on a Saturday afternoon about a week or 2 weeks back... A waitress that wasnt even serving me stood far long folding boxes.. She kept on staring and giving me dirting looks and stares...she made me feel completely uncomfortable.. I didnt even touch my plate and insisted on my waitress to get me a doggy bag.. Cause who on earth enjoys eating while someone is staring at you???......Please train the waitresses on why they there in the shop?? To serve people not to stare and gossip about them!!

They have a great play area for kids, but we didnt have great service and the child minder was just there for the VR machine. She didnt actually watch the kids or tend to issues. Food was okay.
