Enjoyed world class sushi and Chardonnay at Glenwood. Wine tasting is R100 for 5 wines and it’s good portion sizes. Make sure you take a jersey in case it gets a bit windy and chilly outside. Friendly service. Beautiful views!

So shocked at the service today. 😔 We love Glenwood and we have never been told to make a reservation. If this was the case, we would definitely done this. The entire lawn was open with very few full tables under the terrace. The manager was very abrupt to say due to staff they are fully booked and that’s why she put a sign out. Outside the restaurant, not at the gate. We drove specifically to come here and she was not accommodating at all. Not even for a tasting which we came to buy wine before leaving to Europe. Hopefully we will be able to come back one day and have the friendly staff which we are used to.The farm itself is amazing. This is definitely not the problem at all.

Beautiful venue. Quiet surroundings. Gravel road to the venue (not too hectic, but the wife did complain). The owner came to speak to us which was a very nice touch. Our sommeliers accent was unfortunately a tad difficult to understand (even for us locals), but overall a very nice afternoon.

Visited Glenwood Farm last Sunday 28 March and what a delight! Chris tended to us with the wine tasting which turned into an amazing event and the purchase of some amazing wines! Certainly one of the best experiences with our weekend in Franschoek. His service was nothing short of world class and we will certainly be returning with our friends. Highly recommended, thank you Chris.

My fiancé, her instagram famous cousin and myself had a wonderful time at Glenwood. We were treated to great wines by David, who was a blast. It was by far our favourite vineyard of the day. The views and overall setting was spectacular. The manager Chris was also very accomodating to us. Thank you Glenwood for a memorable experience in Franschhoek.

Seriously? This vineyard was supposed to be amazing. After taking a dirt road you will see the domain to the right. The staff doesnt seem to care, we asked them to start over the wine tasting as the white wines were warm... None of their wines tasted any good to our palates, the six of us left quickly, disappointed...

Beautiful setting in a valley surrounded by mountains. Lovely wines, great aroma and taste. My favourite is Chardonnay with an oak flavour. Great tasting experience.

Rip off wine tasting. Offered a cheeseboard that we didnt get, charged R100 for an hour of a glass worth of wine dribbled over a sip at a time. Dont recommend.

The staff were very nice and the views were great, but I was expecting a bit more from the wine and the sushi. The oaked Chardonnay was good but was the only one I would drink again among the white wines.

Very nice place. Unfortunately we could not eat anything there, because there was only something to eat in combination with a wine tasting.The service made a competent impression and the location itself was great.
