As usual Marco serves the best Italian in Durban. Must have the Calzone Seafood....

We came in around about 17:00 hoping to have an early supper, I’m not sure If we were greeted by the manager or a waiter… Furthermore he said he is fully booked, his next free table is at 19:00, what amazes me is that there was only one table occupied by a group of people. I asked him if it’s compulsory to book for a table every time we want to eat there he said No, without hesitation we left and were welcomed with warm hands at another “Italian restaurant”. Around about 18:00 as we were heading home, we passed Marcos and guess what, the place was still as empty as we saw it at 17:00Unbelievable, I’m so disappointed

Enjoyed the pasta. Did not like the fact that Pizza was soggy not crispy. Could be because the hot pizzas are put directly onto plates, if placed on wooden board it would help. Service good and cheese cake also a winner.

Kinda just average... nothing really to write about. There is much better Italian in Durbs.

Charmaine and I decide to give Marcos a try. We had a Cheesy focacccia, Avrils pasta and Sandinato pasta. Pizza dough was thin as we like it and lots of cheese. The tagliatelli pasta was cooked to perfection and the 2 dishes were great. Nkosi was our waiter and he did a great job. We will be back. Cheers Viaan

Wonderful evening of good, wholesome food, value for money, excellent wine suggestion and brilliant service! The meals were exceptional and the waitron was superb. Lovely clean bathrooms(still cant get used to sharing with the men!!). All in all, a highly recommended night out!

Great food, I had the prawn panzarotti. Excellent but the portion was small.

Food was delicious and service top class. All the waitrons were very friendly and had excellent product knowledge.

Food : AMAZING 9/10 👏 one of the BEST sources of Italian cuisine in Durban.Service: Grand 10/10 👏 server was polite and courteous equivalent to pricey5 star restaurants Ive attended.Price: very affordable 👌Quality : Great !👍 so glad to see bountiful seafood in the seafood dishes, I didnt have to go hunting for prawns in the pasta !COVID PROTOCOLS : 1/10 was very disappointed to see that only the waiters on the floor were wearing masks. In the kitchen , chef had no mask!! The other waiters were all huddled together socialising with no masks on!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING AND CONCERNING.Once I saw this , couldnt stomach anymore of my meal, had to leave without testing the desserts and closing off the meal the Italian way with a good coffee! ☕I really would love to return to finish trying all the items I wanted to and bring along the entire family. Please be covid compliant so we can enjoy your tantalising meals with peace of mind 🙏

Marcos is such a gem in Durban and a great restaurant that soon becomes one of your local spots with friends or family. The staff are so sociable and work like trojans. Marco, the owner, is always around and soon becomes well known to all guests, constantly checking how you are and how you are enjoying your meal. The value for the quality of food that you receive is outstanding. Marcos doesnt skimp on quality or quantity! Love it!

Our favorite italian. We eat here every Sunday and sometimes inbetween. Staff are excellent. Owner marco is exceptional and with Bernadine leading his front house it makes for a win. Food is exceptional. Aperol Spritz bang on. Umhlanga is truly spoilt having this restaurant

One of the restaurants you have to visit in Durban !Pros:Pizza was one of the best Ive had if not the best.Really helpful and accommodating staff.Generous with the complimentary chili, garlic and cheese.Near the beach and the village.Cons:Chocolate milkshake could be have more chocolate in it I guess.Not a large number of seats.Highly recommend the Gamberi and Nono Ferdinando pizzas

Marcos Italian is the most superb restaurant! The food is delicious, the staff are incredibly helpful and the overall vibe is amazing. When their menu says they have the best brownies in the world, they really do. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for good value and the best food!

We had a girls night out dinner last week and decided to try this restaurant out. So glad we did, the restaurant manager was a delight to deal with, great and polite service. Food was amazing, I had the scampi pasta and it was delicious, decent wine selection. We had a good time and would certainly recommend this place to others looking for a good Italian restaurant.

We made a booking for 7 30 pm just to be told to wait for our table, we ended up leaving an hour afterwards after not getting to our table. To our surprise another group of people had the exact same experience waiting beside us. Marcos is definitely double booking people. Not good
