One of the best places I have visited in Durban. The food is always on point. Went there on Saturday, damn the live performance was awsum. Amazing staff... Keep it up guys, just add more drafts, EG... Heineken etc. Its now officially our chill zone. 🤝🤝👏👏

Underwhelming experience. The cocktails tasted alright but were definitely overpriced. Service was extremely slow. The most disappointing moment was ordering vegetable spring rolls but instead getting tiny, pastry rolls with mash potato inside. The only redeeming factor was the sea view.

Meh at best. Didnt get greeted at the entrance. Had to stumble upon a waitress. We asked her of there are any tables available upstairs and she said yes. She then leads us upstairs and abandones us there - not a single available table in sight. We stumble back down to the ground floor. Another waitress comes up to us, hands us some menus and asks what wed like to drink. Because, absolutely, everyone knows your menu off by heart, right? I ask her for 2 minutes so we can actually see what is on offer. 2 minutes later she returns and takes our drinks order. We ask for castle light draught, out of stock. Ok, bottle then, also out of stock. A couple items down the line we eventually get tired of playing 20 questions and ask her to just give us the shortlist of what is actually available so we can pick from those. Drinks arrive and my drink of settle, a creme soda float, comes in a kiddies glass. Do I look like a kid?

Visited this Sunday and was rather an enjoyable experience to relax and enjoy the live music. To talk about the cocktails we had, the Californian long island ice tea and it was devine. We had an awesome bartender whose name escapes me right now but he was so friendly and energetic.

Nice place to sit and eat light food and a nice variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Bartending was absolutely terrible i would have scored a 4 star or higher if it wasnt for the barmen. I watched them waste litres of beer trying to pour a draft. Over 15 min wait for 1 drink and it was not busy at all.

Was such lovely food. I loved the philly cheese steak and chips. That was so delicious. Will definitely go there again

The service is terrible, my husband and I waited for nearly 30 minutes for a castle light and a bottle of water!!Its ridiculous how long you wait for service!

It was so good having having breakfast on the waters edge after such a long time. The COVID19 measures are of a high standard and very reassuring.

Love their food! And the people are always so friendly! Will definitely visit again.

Great place to relax with live music during the afternoons on weekends. Simple yummy dishes, cocktails.

Poor service was told venue full when we left people behind us in the line were seated who were much more in number than us, very disappointing 1345 approximately.

Definitely wont be returning. The platter for sharing was extremely overpriced and it hardly was enough food to go around. Ocean basket would have been much better value for money and quality. The waiter was very clumsy and the restaurant didnt even have enough sauces. Cheaply done food! Give it a miss and go elsewhere.

Ordered a burger - turns out the beef was off and definitely not homemade like it says. They didnt charge for it however this shouldnt happen. Also the service was extremely poor.

Extremely bad service. In fact we received NO service at all. Entered the restaurant and waited over 15 minutes for someone to bring a menu. Eventually my wife decided to fetch us two menus from a waitress. We sat another 20 minutes with no one coming to assist us.Very disappointed as my wife and I used to love Wahooz. Standards have certainly dropped tremendously.

Wahooz has some of the best cocktails Ive ever tasted! The staff is very friendly and its conveniently connected to ushaka so you can have lunch there then return to your fun at ushaka. I especially enjoy the live music with such talented bands entertaining the crowd both at the restaurant and on the promenade. Its another good place to take tourists on weekends to listen to the music from many South African cultures.

Only patty and tomato on burger. Very little chips for such a big box. Definitely not worth the money paid.

The most terrible quality of service and food imaginable. A soggy 2 day old Vienna is considered food. Everything about the place reaks of incompetence, lack of hygiene and poor quality food. How hard can it be to make a decent burger? Stay well away. Do not bother and if you are forced to eat the food and pay the extortionary prices then go to a docter and get you gut and your head checked.
