The vibe is beautiful. I tried their ribs and wings with the barbecue sauce. The meat was tender and their sauce is perfect. I was hanging outside. They had those heaters it didnt even feel like I was outside in the Afternoon. You know when you are basking in the sun watching everything that is going on outside,thats exactly the feeling I got. To be having fun whilst seeing beautiful cars and beautiful people. Its in overall a lovely place.

Went here for a girls night. We were seated quickly and served so warmly by Maria. Our cocktails were well made and tasty, but wouldve appreciated a 2 for 1 special or something. I loved the music and the Saturday night ambience.

Cappello is a great diner/restaurant for a chilled lunch or diner reservation. The music is usually on point for lovers of deep house and classics. The space is rather small though so tends to have issues with table availability and the outside seating arrangement is not the most ideal. Apart from those minor issues it is a place worth visiting. The service is good, not great but good. Wheel chair accessible as well.

My wife and I went out to this restaurant while walking on Florida Road , I lived across and always wanted to try the food , I was not disappointed , now I have been to star places and this is humble place had great food , decent music , clean atmosphere and friendly service , The Pizza was phenomenal Avo and Chicken and the Mandela Pizza was also a winner , bought another just to take home with me. If you had a bad experience there recently raise it , doing nothing will do nothing, but for my experience at this venue it was great nonetheless, will post a new review after going there again.

This place has an awesome vibe and potential to attract a good crowd. However the food wasnt good quality. First time we received our meals it was cold and steaks were over done. We asked for Medium and it came back well done. We ended up having to complain multiple times and even not paying for one meal.

Went there last week Saturday and my card was swiped twice however the card declined on their side.. I received two notifications on my phone for these transactions that they had gone through while I was still there...i notified them about this they advised that the R1426 would be back in my account... Went again yesterday to follow up.. Was told today still nothing.. Very very annoying and a major inconvenience.

Poor service. Management seems lost in their own world. Its like they doing you a favour by staying open.

They do not stick to lockdown regulations they closed way before the time and it was too packed with no space to move. Just after i made my order they turned off the music and said they are closing and they refused to take it back after i complained that they shouldve said that they will close soon. The manager refused to even see me when i asked to be assisted. Horrible

Decided to have lunch and try out their 1/2 price lunch deals. The service was horrible. The waitress did not know how to explain the special and she confused our order. The manager also had difficulty communicating and was not much help. The food was horrible- it tasted like it was shop bought. I am disgusted at the service and food. Won’t go back.

Professional customers service

It strikes me this place has an identity crisis. Is it a restaurant? Is it a bar? A nightclub? Until the owners can decide, this place will continue to be poor dining option surrounded by some very high quality competition. Food was bland, overcooked and just meh! Some of the drinks we ordered were not available. Service was rudimentary at best. Keep walking, unless you want cocktails and deep house on a Saturday night.

Food took 1hr and 15 mins to arrive. There was load shedding that started at 10pm and Capello did not have a back up generator. We ate in the dark and no one apologised for the inconvenience

We expected more from Cappello for the price paid. They have a great setting and a good vibe but the service was slow and the quality far below what we expected. Not rushing back unfortunately.

Cappello actually never disappoints me, Im a Joburg gal and thought this one will be different. But atmosphere and vibe was great and the waitresses amazing 🙌❤ lol I loved their skimpy uniforms. But long Ireland iced tea was way too strong than Im used too. But you deserve give stars

The platter for wings, chips, ribs and lamb chops was delicious but the wings were very dry and couldnt taste the barbecue they had said was there!!

I will never ever again go to Cappello. I lost my laptop bag hand bag and my gym bag . What makes me angry is that I parked in front of the restaurant hoping my car will be safe and yes when I locked my car I did double checked if my car was locked.
