Absolutely beautiful branch with fancy leather couches but the service needs a bit of attention.I counted a total of 14 consultant booths with only 1 consultant attending to clients. Long queue at the enquiries desk. Spent almost 2 hours just to collect cards and sign 2 documents. No branch manager in sight. No special arrangements for disabled. Totally unacceptable...Vangate Standard Bank please jack up your service!!!

Very bad service. My wife and I came to open a bank account. We reported to the reception desk at 11:15, my wife then asked how long will we wait as we have a baby with us. The reception lady informed us that there are only 2 people infront of us. We then decided to stay and wait. 45mins later(12pm) we noticed a couple walking in and was helped immediately. We then went to reception and asked when are we going to be helped the lady said the consultant is helping that couple quickly she will then attend to us. We then waited, at 12:30 we were still not helped. We then decided to leave. Basically we waited 1h 15min and had still not been helped.

Dont FALSELY advertise operating hours!!!. I was urgently in need to do a big deposit and unfortunately the nature of my business does not afford me much time during business hours. Checking the website I was pleased to find the Vangate branch of Standard Bank is open on Sundays. To my utter dismay I get told by security that the bank is closed. What a waste of my time.

I have been to Standard bank VANGATE MALL for the pass week and there are only 2-3 stations open to work on enquiries with 5 working stations left open. The lines are extremely long and slow moving. The temperature in here is extremely hot and difficult to breath all the stink floating around. The branch looks amazing but is an empty shell. Whats the point?

Long queues... staff need to be trained more overall average service, stood a hour in line... Make sure u take a book to read while u wait

Staff seriously need more training. Very frustrating having to wait so long to be helped. Will be moving banks if there is no improvement.

Such a little consultants available to assist even though there was such a long line. Spent an unnecessary amount of time waiting to be helped.
