Great place! Prices are competitive and portions are huge. Would be 5 star if they had another waiter or 2, as they were extremely busy and consequently a little slow on the particular Sunday that we went. Im sure its fine on other days though. I would definitely go again.

I really enjoyed myself. I liked the atmosphere, I loved, loved, loved the ribs and chips with pumpkin and cream spinach. The rib came off the bone and pumpkin tasted more like pampoen koekies. I would recommend it if you like the relaxed bar atmosphere with good food and loud laughs

Food is well priced but took long before our food got to us, 35 minutes to be exact. We only had an omelette so cant understand why it took so long, not that they were very busy either. Otherwise, alright.

Second visit here and the food was just as superb. Friendly and welcoming staff, and laid-back atmosphere with Lady the dog checking up on customers. Competitive prices, especially for the variety of choices and portion sizes received.Cordon bleu, fish and chips, eisbein, and ribs - all delicious!

Had a stunning Saturday birthday function. Unfortunately there were 3 functions going on at the same time. Bar staff wasnt ready for that and were short staffed. Bad planning. Lovely venue is their attraction.

The Bloemhof stays a special occasion gathering spot for family and friends. The management allowed us to add our own extra sparkle for an anniversary celebration and privacy can be arranged in a separate side wing. The menu is a delight and I have yet to encounter another restaurant where the food is this superb and well-priced. The portians are gigantic and this ensures that everyone leaves with a doggy bag. Above all, everyone gets their starters and main meal simultaneously. This co-ordinated effort ensures a very pleasant experience. Thank you for yet another very memorable visit.

Was very nice. Service was a bit wobbly. Didnt receive tea I ordered while busy with breakfast and when bill came it had 2 extra breakfast on bill.

Always nice to visit The Bloemhof ... best chicken-mayo toastie with fantastic chips (slices of potatoe) at an extremely reasonable price. And on a warm day sitting outside under the trees with an ice cold beer is truly bliss.

I go there at least twice a month. They have a great menu with excellent food. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Eisbien is my favourite. I recommend this restaurant to everybody looking to unwind and have a good meal.

THIS, is the top restaurant on my list. The venue is breathtaking. Very clean and beautifull. Well spaced. Service is honest, happy, helpfull. The comment on the food I left for last for a reason. I went there today. It was my first time. I had the calamari starter with chips and jalapeño poppers. Absolutely amazing. When the mains came I was already full. The staff is a little overworked so we waited more than 20 minutes for someone to take our order and Im pregnant so I was insanely hungry as usual 😂🤣 and irritable. But when the food came oh my goodness all my worries went away lol.This is my new favourite spot. Very impressed with the food. The vibe!! We sat outside it was wonderful. Did I tell you about the portions? Good lord the food is gigantic. The chicken Cordon Bleu was sooooo big! You will never go wrong coming here!! Love it 😍

The service can at times be slow, but its always friendly. The food is homely, delicious, comforting and great value for money. They have added a few cosmetic touches recently which has made the venue very pretty. Great to sit outside and have some drinks and something to eat.

This place is a hidden gem! The area they have set up at the back of the guesthouse is very nice and well shaded so even on hot days you can be out of the heat.The food is delicious and the portions for most meals are massive! You will most likely need to share it with someone. Its also great value for money. (Get the schnitzel! Im not even joking... it will change your life.)This place is definetly worth a visit!

Very poor service after we promoted and introduced the place to all our friends and family. We are regulars there spending a lot of time and money there. No David I am really disappointed.

For starters have you ever seen such a beautiful building ?Often if the buiding or the view is beautiful, the food is not so good. I went there to watch the Rugby World Cup Final, and did not eat. But I will be back soon and let you know what the food is like.

Only day it back for a beer. My friend had a R50 burger special. Seemed good. It was midday so few people. The service was a little slow. But a nice pub restaurant feel.
