Having met Grant firsthand, and seeing his interactions with his patrons...left an indelible impression that this was a guy who took a colourful ootlook to life. The decor and ambience was refreshing to say the least. His call and collect cuisine...well, give it a try and and be greatly satisfied.

This is one if the top sushi restaurants in Cape Town, without a doubt. The sushi is traditional and amazing creations of the owner. The tempura prawns are out of this world and among some of the best I have tasted internationally. The ambiance is delightful and the owner himself is a laugh a minute, hence your floor show for the evening 😉. On top of all that, the miso soup is home made, and amazing. Overall an experience not to be missed.

I visit so often Im on first name basis with the staff and they know exactly what Im going to order. The bon bon gifts are the perfect piece of sushi.

Salushi has always been great at the quality of sushi they serve up. But I was just blown away by the quality of my call and collect order... packed and presented perfectly and appealingly in good quality packaging. The sushi was fresh, and put together with so much attention to detail and care, myself and my guest could feast with our eyes and then our mouths.Timmy my waiter was also so friendly, which just added to a great experience. I will definitely be back.

We arrived and someone greeted us, covid procedures was introduced and everything was seemingly friendly. Waiter was also friendly and attentive BUT I dont know who the guy is that greeted us but he was very loud throughout the restaurant it felt like it was the owner or manager, I kept being distracted by this guy speaking and it made me edgy because he was hassling whoever was working but in a loud way. He was constantly walking around looking at things, sometimes talking to himself out loud, making jokes but also hassling and making sure the one waiter wasnt slacking and the sushi chefs. The sushi was normal, we ordered normal things so cant complain but we did order one specialty dish but it was beyond underwhelming, not to mention the food took abit long to get to us. I wanted to order something else but really just wanted to leave because of that person

The owner is hands on and present in the restaurant. It is clean and the presentation of the food is so creative! Sushi prices are high but its worth the spoil :)

1h40m wait for a poke bowl and 14 pieces of sushi. There were only 4 other tables taken so the place wasnt even full. Poor service, the waiter did not check on the table the entire time.
