The waffles look super delicious on pictures but yet we got old stoggy waffle batter. I know restaurants are suffering but please use fresh ingredients when you have paying customers.

As a first time customer , I was very disgusted & disappointed with the food, I ordered 2 x Family Feast, Full Grilled Chicken meals, instead of getting 2 whole chickens, instead of breast pieces, we got chicken breast carcuss which was use after breast was filleted. Some of the pieces was cut almost to the bone. if I wanted breast carcuss as a meal, I will go to Kekkel & Kraai. Rolls was also old & smelly. Total ripoff, will definitely expose them on all social media platforms.

Food wasnt good. Was cold as air con was too high. Waiter did not know the menu. Water was in expired bottles therefore it stock from before corona and nobody checked the stock. Meat was tough to eat. Overall it was so bad I went to eat at another place

So I think Saturday was the last day that Spitfire will see me as a customer. I placed a large phone order but they were surprisingly very efficient in getting it done within 30min. The disappointment wasnt in the service or price, as I was using the coupons but rather the quality of the meals. Ordered the 200g beef fillet with the 100g free as well done which was very soft and juicy. Shared a chicken burger of which half of the chicken fillet was still pinkish. Wanted to share the beef burger but we couldnt eat it as the patty was totally raw. I have plenty of coupons left but will not be visiting them ever again as my familys health is not worth their meals. Tip to the owners, check your kitchen staff who are preparing the meals and ensure that it is done of the highest quality to avoid food poisoning. I eat sushi raw not my meat or chicken.

Impeccable service! The staff were friendly & the manager even opened the door for us as we left. The food was delicious, the burger rolls were amazing (soft & powdered) and the chicken was deliciously spicy. I highly recommend their Passion fruit with Sprite! So tasty! Our food was served soon after we ordered. Well definitely be visiting again & again. Thank you to the Spitfire team!

Very disappointing. I cant really speak to the food since instead of the chips I ordered, I was given a garlic roll. Even if I did want a garlic roll, I wouldnt take their very small regular sized roll with some garlic flavouring for an overpriced R24.90.The deserts I ordered were also not great at all. Chocolate brownie is below average, and the malva pudding is a pasty mess which Im sure meets the definition of raw.

Ordered the chicken fillet, 2x 150g and chips and shared this as I wanted a light meal so that I could have space for this gorgeous nutella crepe. The staff was very attentive with the owner in store. Meals were served quickly and were quite affordable, will definitely be returning.

Best chicken in the Rondebosch East area

I hardly give a 5 star review but you simply cant find a reasonable fault. From a not-so-great start, this place really came a long way. Almost every menu item cannot be faulted. They are consistent with their offerings and pricing is on par if not lower than similar alternatives even though Spitfires food is tastier in my opinion. The dining area is neat and tidy and also well-ventilated.

Some pieces of my chicken were raw. The rest of the order, tasted great. Soft rolls and burgers were great too. This is not the first time I’ve experienced the uncooked chicken though. Thank you.

Great place to get quality chicken, fried or grilled. Try the grilled chicken breasts, cut into strips. The crumb chicken burger is also a winner.They also have a Middle Eastern menu. The hummus and the falafels are really good and pair surprisingly well with the grilled chicken. Waiting times for food can be long but worth it.

Total rip off took my son for supper nice setup however was advised by the manager to take a sharing meal he advised the mix grill waited long as we were the only customers in the store at the time when the food came a it was very disappointing not what the manaher said R210 for a small looks like a a kiddies meal not value for money chicken taste like frozen chicken very very bad not happy at all

The service was slow and pathetic. My burgers and chips was ready for about 10 minutes and I had ask the front end staff to check for my order. I was not the only customer complaining about the slow service.Beside front end staff was not friendly at all.The Cashier put her hand over my chips and put it in the bag. I asked for other chips as shes been handling cash.The chicken burgers was tasty and value for money as it was two for the price of one.

The chicken and food was excellent. Not so oily like KFC however the waiting period for the meal to be made was too long. It took approximately 30 minutes plus and all I ordered was 8 piece family meal and a chicken salad where there was no queue. Would have given 5 stars if not for this

Bought dinner for 12 people4 of Half chicken and chipsAnd with the rewards card u get a quarter chicken free with every half chicken that you buy.I am very disappointed becos the chicken was raw and smelt rancidAlso the breast part of the chicken was already filleted and all you get on that quarter is ribs with no meat and a wing.This is daylight robbery.Needless to sayMy guest were all nauseated and vomitingWhat an absolute embarrassing evening.This is the last time i eat from spitfire.

Utterly amazing!!On arrival my family and I were welcomed by the friendly and extremely helpful staff.We were undecided on what to have especially with such a large variety on the menu of both local and foreign cuisineIt was there when we met owners Mr and Mrs Sonday who were accompanied by head chef mohammed.. He prepared a variety from garlic cheese bread and crumbed mushroom starters followed by a grilled saucy chicken with chips and rolls , tender succulent masala steak, beef burgers and a Middle Eastern dish all of which were in leagues of their own. Once the main course had settled they introduced a Nutella pancake and ice cream dessert which completed everythingI thoroughly enjoyed my spitfire experience and highly recomend all to to add it to the top of their to do list in Cape TownThe only regret I have is not being able to eat this often after the holiday season ends going back to JoburgThanks spitfire team!

Very unprofessional. Elderly white Guy promoting spitfire coupons after I told him Im on a diet. He grabbed the coupons card out of my hand and said we broke!!!

Had a bad experience.. Was my first time buying there and used the value card for the half chicken combo. We bought 4 combos.. 4 pieces of chicken were raw and atleast 2 pieces from Seperate leg n thigh quarters were smelling rotten. I feel sick🤮. I complained but management refused to acknowledge that the chicken smelt off... He apologized for the rawness... Reimbursed with an item a quarter of the value of items returned... Im very disappointed at the way the situation was handled... Do not insinuate that something is fine when i took the time, effort and fuel to bring your faulty goods back! I despise returning things but food poisoning is real.So acknowledge... Do not shift blame! Make the apology more sincere next time!

Amazing chicken burger, delicious falafel platters

For some reason this business doesnt serve the same tasty meals like before and omg their chips can now be counted R24 for 6 chips..where i pay R30 for 2kg potatoes at woolies. Good thing it was my last visit until someone tell me they back to good again #dissapointing meal sorry guys but not a good experience really.

With so many halaal food establishments to chose from in this area, fast food outlets should be providing excellence to their customers in all areas. Sadly to say that the roasted veg I ordered as a side was not included. It is such an effort to return to the store to report this when you are already at home. It also means you have to collect their ommission at your own expense.

Visited Sat. 20 Jan 2018. front desk service was poor and unfriendly. Tried their new Mediterranean dishes take-away. got home and was disappointed to see that it is not what the guy at the front desk explain. Swarma came in the form of a wrap.Reported on two occasions that the whole chickens drumstick and thigh parts were raw. The complaint was received without an apology.Some of their food can be tasty hence I persevere but it is spoilt by their poor service.

The best garlic sauce and lemon and herb sauce ever!! Recommend to take the chicken (Tydstroom qaulity) with lemon and herb flavour. I am also crazy for Falafel and Hummus to which Syrian chef Mudrik has perfected. The shwarma is devine..opt for extra garlic sauce in the Pita for and even more BOOM in your mouth. Only downside is seating....but whenever we there we always have a place to sit and enjoy.... just my perfect timing ...LOL :)
