What a pleasant surprise - a hidden gem in Pineland. Loved the setup & decor and courtyard (though a bit chilly on a Winters Day). We really enjoyed our meals and very reasonable pricing. Will definely be going back. Rumi Cafe has become one of my favorite places, I just keep going back. They have not disappointed, met the Chef and complimented her on the food. Really enjoyed their freshly squeezes orange juice

Last night was an absolutely memorable experience. Rumi café hosted my husbands 50th birthday and went out of their way to make it extra special ❤️, with their hospitality, great food and beautiful venue, it all speaks volumes and deserves the 5 stars (if there were more stars, Id give them much more!!!). We hosted 30 people with good ventilation and within covid protocol, having loads of fun in between. It was well priced and they were accommodating, the owner allowed us to do our own decor and music. He allowed us to be there after hours. Highly recommended!

Green setting with relaxed atmosphere. Sat in the courtyard. Good coffee and enough tasty breakfast options. Fully halaal menu. Service acceptable with staff still in training. Cheesecake looked and tasted great. No muffins though.

Lovely little cafe with fresh and tasty food. Lovely outdoor seating. Nice for small groups. Can get a little hot outside as the trees don’t provide complete shade. And there were some annoying flies outside, but it didn’t detract from the experienceCreme Brûlée latte is a must try. Sandwiches are really good too.Very attentive staff.

The manager and staff were friendly, polite and efficient. I enjoyed the crème brulle milkshake. My kids double chocolate milkshake was delicious too. Next time Ill probably also get a chicken burger instead of the rumi scramble breakfast with kofta.

Had a great experience at Rumi Cafe, the food was good and the garden set up was ideal for our little brunch meet up. The service was brilliant. I would definitely recommend that people should make a reservation as this place gets quite full. Google maps doesnt take you directly to the location it takes you around the corner but it was great because it gave me a perfect parking space. I will definitely be visiting Rumi Cafe again!

Had breakfast at Rumi in Pinelands just off Forest Drive, really easy to find. Very relaxing vibe. There meals are authentic with some Turkish inspired meals on the menu. Great service from the staff and management.

Delicious food and stellar service. The manager was kind enough to give our son a little gingerbread man - our little gem was super appreciative of the gesture. We will be back!

Stopped by and bought myself strawberry baked cheesecake and honestly the best I’ve had. (Highly recommend). I was also complemented with trying their Tacos, was really amazing, crisp shell with spicy filling and garnished with just the right balance. (will be coming to menu soon)

Breakfast was amazing. Service was excellent. Atmosphere really great too.The salt shaker broke and all the salt spilled on my food. Within a few minutes everything was cleaned and I had a brand new plate of food. Really great service.

Relaxed outdoor vibe with yummy food. When weather is not so great you may wait a while as they can get busy. Noticeably so, since the food and service is lovely. Like an afternoon of cake and tea on the patio at your Turkish grandmothers house.

Cute little Cafe in Pinelands. Really great breakfast or lunch spot. Truth coffee is also available here. The atmosphere is really relaxed and the staff are always ready to assist and service you. Wait wasnt long and the food was really tasty and fresh. Definitely worth a visit.

I enjoyed the setting, because it is not situated in a noisy mall. The food was well presented and tasty. The owners was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will go again in the future.

Any place that serves Truth coffee deserves a mention 😉Today was our second visit. The menu is simple but limited but not a serious issue. What weve had each time has been really great, with interesting tastes. I guess in time well work our way through the menu.Only downside today is that my coffee wasnt hot, but being a warm day, I didnt mind. In winter, it would be a different story.Would also be nice to have the option of a gluten free bread, unless I missed seeing it on the menu...

Did have the things we ordered butvits on the menu. Itcwasxa winters day and it was very cold in their courtyard but they could use the patio heater cause they had no gas. The biggest put of was the very dirty toilet with no hand soap. Their staff use that same bathroom that work with the food so how do wash their hands... It was just disgusting. I will never eat there again and would definetly not recommend the place and the Eggs Benedict was horrible.

A fantastic little cafe situated at Central square. It is convenient and parking is close by, but it is across the road. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. The atmosphere is great and the halaal menu offers a great variety. You can get your daily fix of breakfast or lunch or tea time favourites.

Staff were friendly, food was great and the setting was perfect. I really liked the open air under the shade of trees. Luckily the weather was warm enough for it. Ill definitely be back to try everything on the menu

Recently visited for the first time. Place was fairly empty. Waited quite a while to be served. Hollandaise very bland. After delivering our order we never saw the waitress again. Branding is not in a name....its your service. Definitely wont be back in a hurry.

Rumi has a very limited menu. However thier meals are good but I was very disappointed in the pancakes I just ordered from them the last time. It was very dense and had a raw texture to it. However the other meals I was very happy with. My ratings was definitely a 4 before but dropped to 3 because of the pancakes.

Quaint little fully halaal Turkish restaurant in the heart of Pinelands with an awesome vibe. Great service with friendly staff and owner.The pancakes with Nutella filling is highly recommended and if good coffee is important to you, well the coffee is awesome as well. I had the Eggs Benedict with Salmon for breakfast which hit the spot.There is ample parking available across the road. Inside seating is limited, so dress warm when going in the cooler months. The outside area is enclosed though. This will be an awesome place to go to in Summer.Covid protocols are in place and there is good spacing between tables.The operating hours are not ideal, especially over a weekend, with the establishment closing at 7pm on a Friday and Saturday and 3pm on a Sunday. This may be due to the cooler seasons (I hope).

Lovely, cosy space with good energy. The outside seating was nice on an overcast day. The table was very unstable but they brought us a new one.We ordered the steak sandwich, which was delicious and the breakfast, which was a bit underwhelming.I would go back for lunch with girlfriends.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great service. Yummy food. Only negatives are that they dont have a selection of tea as suggested in their menu and their Cake of the day was sold out by the time we got there (2pm) but they had very good alternatives. The scones were delicious and we also sampled the cheesecake and the baklava which were great.

We had a good cappuccino and a decent lunch. The samosas were good though not outstanding. I liked the fact that they have tables outside especially now during covid times.

Rumis garden court yard under the trees is magical. Service and food is good. If you dont like spicy food, ask beforehand if the dish is spicy. The coffee milkshake is yummyyyyy!

Nestled in quite and serene Pinelands. Rumi Cafe definitely hit the right notes from venue, ambience, food and friendly service. Their coffee supplied by award winning coffee company TRUTH truly uplifts. Compliments to the Barista bringing the coffee to life. Their Bread is superb and top marks to the headchef and all the staff at Rumi. Couldnt fault this one. Pity we didnt take pics of our well presented meals. It was too good and didnt waste a moment with special people.

I really love this place. The cute decor and greenery create a really relaxing atmosphere - somewhere you can chill for hours, drink coffee and have catch ups or simply unwind after a long week. The service is excellent (Such friendly waiters!). I also love the outdoor seating.Ive tried meals from their grills and breakfast menu and neither disappointed. A perfect salmon benedict and soft, fluffy scones (that arent hard to swallow) are hard to come by in my experience, but Rumi Cafe delivered on both. The chai latte was also really good, but could have been hotter.The favour of the samoosa fillings could be improved and the chicken tikka from the grills menu, although delicious, took a really long time to prepare and could use a bit more heat.Can definitely see myself returning on many more occasions in future!
