Enjoyed a meal on the outdoors deck as a table of 6. A nice selection of smaller meals on the lunch menu. However, be careful when ordering lunch as some of the items have different portions somewhere else in the menu - our table had an mix up on our restaurant bill that could have been a costly mistake. When some at the table ordered water to drink, our waitron appeared to respond quite dismissive/negative. The food was very good, except for the nachos that did not meet expectations. Overall a good experience.

A very pleasant restaurant. The upstairs seating was nice and cool and tables were well distanced for viral considerations. The service was quick and friendly. And to top is all off, the food was delicious. Well done Bossa. Ill see you again soon.

It was in the end very nice but the manager that received us coming in said they were full but another waiter made us space after other customers left, will not go the again, in times of covid you need patrons to come to youre establishment but the way she acted is that they dont need it, very bad experience.

Our steaks were all grilled to perfection,the manager checked on us &she was very friendly our waiter Bongie was simply the best👌❤️

So so. I wasnt overly pressed, ordered a chicken wrap with fries and had to douse it in tomato sauce to add taste and I hate eating tomato sauce with anything! My companions food looked all brown and unattractive in their plates as presentation clearly does not matter here and the rib eye steak that was ordered was more sinews than steak. Its a pub vibe it seems so do not go there if you appreciate flavourful, good food.

Decided to go to Route 44 but it was closed. We were hungry so stopped at Bossa to grab something to eat. The restaurant is quite average in terms of decor, service and food. The nachos were bland in terms of the tomato mixture. They can definitely do with adding some spices to it in order to give it a better taste and less acidic tomato taste. The pizza was good, the thin wood fired crust is good quality.

Shocking service from the manager Stefan. Disinterested, didnt even make eye contact while communicating. The waiter explained they had the capability to play different channels. The manager would rather turn away customers than change to the soccer when the top section of the restaurant was completely empty and rugby was playing on all the other tvs.

Had a scrumptious meal of spicy chicken and barbecue sauce. Friendly service. We sat outside and green plants and green golf course were our scenery.. Thanks to my youngest son and girlfriend who took me to Bossa for a scrumptious meal.

Bossa Cafe is a nice cozy restaurant. As it was a chiily night, there was a fire burning to keep the restaurant warm and create a nice atmosphere. What I enjoyed is there are no frills with food. The steak was delicious and tender. The staff was friendly.This was the first establishment where I used Samsung Pay.

Manfred was an excellent server. Friendly and concise. Pizza 3/5. Burger 4/5. Crumbed mushrooms 5/5. With the right server, would recommend.

Better burgers are hard to come by! Lip-lek-lekker. Many of what bossa offers can be explained by the word delicious. Having spent many nights dwelling in the belly of Bossa, i can with 100% certainty confirm that they may boast as the the best all rounder restaurant in stellenbosch. From burgers to pizzas to eisbeins to steaks, I am yet to come across a meal I did not thoroughly enjoy. Kudus to the staff,kitchen and serving. I honestly enjoy this place.

What a disappointment. Cold coffee. Breakfast orders, Eggs Benedict hard... Sent back to get underdone see through eggs. Other breakfast orders came without bread and when the bread came, breakfast was done. Never again!

The food is really great. Had some skewered deboned chicken legs in lemon and herb (partner the sticky barbecue), so juicy and soft, we were incredibly impressed. Well be going again.

This was my 8th Bossa out of 12 (so far I think) in the Western Cape. I love too see what they have to offer because each one has something different but extra to offer. It took a while with this one to find that extra something apart from its immediate beauty thats undeniable and the wine cellar vibe. As I continued my search I spotted it. They have a separate wine bar. I thought this was amazing keeping in with the area and its well known for its rich wines I thought this was an amazing touch and then everything jus fell together the whole wine cellar design it all made sense its so beautiful and offers that little something extra that each bossa does. Love it cant wait to have been to each and every bossa in the Western Cape and the PlayStation 5 competion has definitely accelerated my motivation to see them all. Gotta catch em all 😉

So went to bossa, sat upstairs all good, waiter wasnt really the nicest person or friendly, wife ordered a char grilled steak, that was burnt,Daughter orders a chicken that was stuffed with ham and cheese, that was also burnt,When people spend money we expect service not we will sort it out next time, or sorry ,Your company will not see me again simple as that, the experience was not amazing and the food likewise, poor poor poor taste and poor service.

We were in the pub side of the restaurant and it was lively with a good atmosphere

Amazing place, definitely worth a visit when in Stellenbosch. Was there twice in two days and everytime great food, great service and ice cold drink.s The Fillet was amazingly soft and the salad tasted exceptional. Will go back anytime. Shaun actually served us the second evening :)

I actually had a good experience here (good food, decent service) up until we were leaving, when the lady asked us to write a Google review to get a free coffee. Not cool!Im pretty sure this is against Google Terms of Service, and isnt right. This is why they have 10x the number of reviews of any other place! So I would take other reviews with a pinch of salt.
