Probably the best sushi Ive ever had. Really worth it

During busy or peak times and days, waiting time is very long. But during non peak times and days waiting time is great. Taste wise, best sushi I ever had. Pity they so far. If you guys see this review, please open up a branch in the Northern suburbs.

Really good sushi! Very flavourful, colourful, Insta-friendly. Amongst others, we had a deep-fried platter that lived up to its name. Leka coffee too. Also, amazing staff! Super friendly and energetic. Good atmosphere. The ONLY recommendation would be to tile the bathroom. It doesnt do justice to the modern facade/feel of the restaurant. I love black bathrooms, but black-painted bathrooms looks like a quick-fix.

In Cape Town on holiday. The wife and I love sushi. Nuri Sushi was just around the corner from the hotel, so we decided to try them out. Oh my goodness!!! I am so pleased we did!! We bought the crunch platter for under R150.00 as a take away. We sat on our hotel balcony eating our sushi looking out at the beach scenery in Sea Point. The BEST sushi we have ever tasted. VALUE for MONEY! We will be back on our next trip to Cape Town!

Best halaal sushi place in Cape Town

The day I went it was quiet. The wait was 15 minutes. The sushi is always freshly prepared which is essential. The sushi is a bit pricey but very unique. The sushi tastes delicious. Just wish they had the extra salty soy sauce (the red one). They also have a few desserts which is yum.

Dont bother. This place has no manager and is terribly run. Sushi that was said to take 40 minutes took over an hour with orders not being made as they are ordered and sushi sitting on the counter for over 30 minutes before being packaged. I am a chef and this is a disgrace to my industry!! Never ever again!!

I love Nuri Sushi in Seapoint. The sushi is fresh, tasty and a different variety then other sushi bars. I was so shock when the bill came and there was a 20% discount off our bill. Its a special they currently running.The only negative part is, they no longer sell the bagels which was a crowd pleaser. Please bring it back.

Service was a bit slow in the beginning. We waited a while before a waiter came to take our order. We ordered the crunch platter and I was not disappointed at all. The sushi looked exactly like it does on the menu. Each piece brought a different taste sensation to your mouth. I will definitely be back. Quality for your money food.

Waited for over half an hour for 8 pieces of sushi. They were nice, not particularly great. Just nice-ish. Not worth the trip or the time.

Nuri is actually a very popular sushi spot but sushi aficionados may not enjoy the prevalence of mayo and other sauces. They also dont serve alcohol which might put some off.

This is by far my favourite sushi restaurant. No other Sushi place does it like Nuri Sushi. Their Flavors are unique and there combinations and style of Sushi is like no other. My kids love it. When my family visits from Dubai or Johannesburg, this is the first place we visit for a get together dinner or lunch.

Sushi was great but the seafood platter was very dissapointing my calamari and my squidheads was raw and my prawns overcooked.Needs alot of improving sushi pops was great.Waiter was most probably new and got ohr orders wrong and took forever with our food.

Food was excellent. Service poor. Prepared orders lay open on the counter for everyone who walks in to contaminate, until the cashier/waiter is ready to serve it. The other waiter wont even look in your direction or bother to bring your food as a courtesy.

No parking in front of the place need to park at the Spar parking.

Halaal sushi joint though they do allow people to bring in their own alcohol so 4 not 5 stars. Great sushi at decent prices.

Love the sushi here! They were out of stock of my usual smoked salmon crunch but delivered on yummy sushi nonetheless. They are abit pricey but quality is worth the price, in my opinion.Bonus: the staff are super friendly!

Great sushi. The standard of this Nuri is just as high as that of all the other Nuri branches. The overall quality of Nuris sushi is very consistent. The environment is great, as is the service. They are very fast and we received our 60pcs platter 15 minutes after ordering. They also do delivery through whatsapp for a small fee. Delivery is usually very fast but they tend to bring a lot of chopsticks and serviettes.

A regular stop whenever we are in Sea Point.

Its called Raw, the menu is excellent and the Quality of food even more so, this is a must visit restaurant for the healthy lifestyle , great staff and even better service, highly recommended if compared to other healthy restaurants💯

Made me wait more than an hour for my food. Other orders (delivery drivers and takeout) were prioritised over mine.Besides all of this, there is no one controlling access at the door so the store was full of people.

Nuri sushi has always been my favourite and even satisfied my needs while being pregnant. The veg crunch with guacamole on top and other veg options was definitely a hit during the past 9 months, now that baby is born I cant wait to dig in and enjoy the many favourites I have at Nuri the rainbow roll, Nuri stack, volcano and all time fav the spicy prawn tempura. Too many to choose from but theyre all delicious ❤️

Spring rolls was served ice cold ,had to send it back.Sushi left a bad taste in the mouth .

Staff is friendly and welcoming, although the service is a little slow. With a light atmosphere, this place is a great place for well-priced, quality seafood meals and fantastically rich desert, and has fresh, filling poke bowls. A main critique is that the kitchen is prone to misreading orders and serving the wrong dish, although they are replaced and corrected in a fair length of time.

I like this particular restaurant location and layout. I was looking for a location away from the crowd and this awesome. Food was good as usual for Nuri. No disappointments. So if you feel for sushi with a twist and some space to enjoy it i recommend.

I love Nuris, however we had a disappointing experience at the sea point branch a few nights ago. Food took long. Hot meals arrived cold and food did not come at one time. Truly disappointing

My favourites are the salmon roses reloaded, salmon poke bowl, spinach and cream cheese dumplings and classic fashion sandwiches.

What a go to sushi joint. Food is delectable. It comes a cross a little bit like a dingy fast food/take away joint - but it is still lovely to meet a friend or two for dinner at.

Terrible service. Order was made incorrectly 2 times, items were missing after picking the food up. Had to call to get them to deliver the remainder. Food took over 45 mins to get ready. Love the sushi but the service is terrible.

This sushi place is great and the service is fantastic...when they actually have stock! I’m a regular here and I’ve come here on 2 occasions where they’ve run out of salmon. It’s dissapointing because obviously mistakes do happen but twice on a quiet Wednesday night is really just unacceptable. Most sushi dishes have salmon in them...at least the good ones! I love the waiters there but it’s really frustrating not being able to eat your favourite sushi at your favourite sushi place.

The crunches are our favourite, never disappoints. The desserts are great too if you have a sweet tooth and the coffee is decent.

Worse service ever. Advertise free cappuccino with every dessert and was told they dont have enough take away cups so cant make honor their advertisement. Manager on duty wasnt prepared to compensate cappuccinos without us having to say so we just purchased 6 desserts and we only getting 3 cappuccinos... its all about principle not the money. Staff was more worried about the kitchen closing than serving their clients. really embarrassing when we had an overseas guest with us. Wont be going back to this Nuris anytime soon. Manager on duty need to learn some management skills.
